It is just a degree college, and it won't provide any internship, However, extracurricular activities are very good, which surely help students in the future.

This college is okay if your aim is to complete your degree with less effort.
Placements: Placements are very rare, and even if placements are offered, the companies that reach out are very small-level companies and provide low-level posts such as receptionist, etc. Students enrolled in the BBA course might receive better offers at higher-level posts at decent local companies, but other courses are provided just for the namesake of a degree. They even provide B.A. Eco Hons course and B.Sc. Regular (Eco, Stats, Maths courses), which even the students of the college are unaware of. The lowest average package might range around 10-12k per month, and if you’re extremely lucky, the highest you can bag might range around 30k per month. The companies that reach out are mostly small local companies or branches that operate within the city. The placement cell is currently working on improving the situation, and new opportunities are coming out, but the current situation is that only the BBA students get the most out of placements, as other courses receive very few or no placements.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel or college dorm where students can live and come to college. The average classroom is just a basic classroom, which includes chairs, tables, fans, lights, and writing boards, with no free Wi-Fi facility available. One computer lab is available with a decent number of computers and restricted access. The library has lots of books, mostly commerce-related books like accounting, business studies, economics, business law, entrepreneurship, etc. The library is well-maintained and has a good number of seats available. There is no mess as there is no hostel facility available, but there is a canteen that provides decent food at a reasonable price, though some food items might cost a little higher. There are no seats in the main canteen, only tables. There are only a few chairs inside another cabin, which is mostly used by teachers, so the students have to eat food while standing and keeping their food on the table. There is a small gymnasium in the college with a limited number of equipment. There are no sports events, unfortunately, as this college has no ground or field for playing games and sports.
Faculty: The teachers are okay, average, depending on the teacher. There are a few teachers who just provide notes and explain nothing, some who explain okay, and very few great teachers. The courses provided in the college are average commerce-based courses and do not have much practical use in real life, except for a few exceptions like in B.Com, where they teach how to make a balance sheet and other accounting tools. B.A. and B.Sc. do not provide any practical knowledge other than making assignments and parrot-learning notes at the last moment before exams. BBA might provide necessary skills for business management, and BCA might provide computer skills. The semester exams are not very tough; they are of average difficulty, as the questions come from Gauhati University, which uses the same question paper for most colleges in Assam. Most students can easily pass the semester by studying the last week with some prior knowledge of the syllabus and the topics coming in the exams.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in the particular field, but initially, I didn’t plan to take admission in this college, as I wasn’t even aware of the college. However, I had to take admission here because I didn’t have any other choice and couldn’t take admission elsewhere. The best thing about my course is that there isn’t much hard work, and you can pass the course with average marks without much effort. I wish the course had more students because we have very few students in this course, less than 10. The classes are very boring, and the teacher-student interaction is poor. Practical work is very minimal, and most of the course revolves around theoretical knowledge. Events include freshers, foundation day, cultural rallies, sports week (which happens at another field not owned by the college). The campus is just a small ground used as parking for teachers' private vehicles, around which the students gather and chit-chat. Scholarships like Ishan Uday are available. There aren’t many extracurricular activities available as the campus is relatively very small compared to other colleges in Guwahati.

Satisfied and happy, good placements, good infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: There must be at least 30% of students placed in my course because they availed the opportunity by taking part in a lot of seminars and placement opportunities. The highest isn’t up to my knowledge, but the minimum package offered was 2 Lacs per annum. Top recruits are SBI, HDFC, ICICI Bank, etc. 40% of students got internships in various companies like Pantaloons, Computer accountants, etc. Bankers, Accountants, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities of my college are good. There is Wi-Fi, a computer lab, classrooms with fans, lights, projectors, CCTV, and two floors of the library. There is no hostel facility, but the canteen is available with a good supply of food and water beverages. The only con of the canteen is that they don’t have enough seats.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and every teacher is Ph.D. level and friendly. They really find the best way to teach or make students understand. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. They make sure to share every knowledge on aspects of the industry or the outside world so students can tackle all the situations. The sessional exams are the ones to give an idea of what kind of questions could be given in the final paper, so it prepares all the students to do their best. The pass percentage is 27%.
Other: I wanted to learn more about this course and wanted to know more about financial terms. The best part about my course is that it is related to our daily life—how we should save, invest, or use monetary terms. To give real-life experience by taking students to work fields could bring challenges to students, but also, they learn from real-world experience. There are so many events, scholarships, and extracurricular activities in college that will blow your mind. I never expected that college events and other stuff could be so exciting and good. There are events to enjoy, and there are many programs to take part in, even to bring and learn. They also organize skill development activities, sports, dance, singing, art, poetry, etc., which are many more to describe. They uplift everyone to show their talents and grow more. The campus might be small, but even the small campus has so many opportunities.

Strict authorities, good teaching but no enjoyment.
Placements: No placement opportunities are provided in kc das commerce college. However there's a placement cell group in which information about various job vacancies are provided to students who can apply according. Various workshops and seminars are being conducted for skill enhancement and benefits of the students. There's also a self discover club which conducts workshops on concentration, mind development and similar others.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of KCDCC is good. It has a library, reading rooms, spacious classrooms, seminar hall, Wi-Fi facility, canteen, resting rooms for both boys and girls separately. There's also a scholarship department which assist in providing opportunities for various scholarships. The college building has four floors and the campus is full of green trees.
Faculty: The faculty and teaching staff are highly qualified and experienced professionals. Their teaching is top notch. However, they give efforts far less than their abilities in the classroom. But if you contact them directly for doubt solving, they are very helpful. The courses here are mostly theoretical and exam based. Nothing much industry related. The difficult level of semester exams are moderate and most of the students pass meritorious.
Other: I'm pursuing B.Com here and there's no explanation needed why I require a Bachelors degree. The college is good for academics but there's no campus life to be honest. Not much events are held and the authorities are also very strict. This year only freshers, college fest and Saraswati Puja was celebrated in the campus.

A detailed review of KC Das Commerce College.
Placements: Our college provides a decent amount of placements. The top recruiting companies are SBI bank, TATA Lombard etc. The minimum package a fresher can get is around 12 to 20 lacs depending upon their skills. Top roles offered in the course are that of web developer, Game developer, frontend, backed engineers etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities available for our course include free Wi-Fi, proper computer lab, proper classrooms, and a library. I have not stayed in the hostel. There are many PGs available in the locality around the campus. The food provided by the canteen is also very good.
Faculty: The faculty members of the college are highly qualified and are very helpful. Especially the HOD of the BCA department is very helpful and good natured. The curriculum of the course is very good, it does make you industry ready if you work on yourself. The exams are neither too tough nor too easy.
Other: I have chosen this course because it will help me build a great career. I chose this course for my bright future and also because of my interest in this course. Things that needs to be improved in this course are that they should focus on one thing at a time and also provide more practical knowledge by including lab works. There is no campus life in the college and no frequent events take place. There are no extra curricular activities in the college.

Overall, a good college if the intention of the student is to get a school-like experience !
Placements: Total of 750 students are placed this time for B.Com (Hons) in KC DAS COMMERCE COLLEGE this year (2024).
The college doesn't provide many placements. But if they do, those placements are really poor ones. I've not researched much, but I guess the placements are 2-3 LPA only. Which is really less !
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is not sufficient to cover all the students studying in the college. And the classrooms are good. But the college infrastructure is too small for such a reputed college. In addition to that. The canteen is really hygienic and provides good food.
Faculty: The faculty members of the college are really great and friendly in nature. Not only in teaching. The faculty members also provide personal mentorship to the students in many ways. They conduct good sessional and final exams. And altogether, I would say. The college is good in terms of faculty members, curriculum, and exams !
Other: The events conducted in the college are really awesome and fantastic. The freshers who conducted were also really outstanding and mind-blowing. Also, the events like college week etc. are also great. As far as I came across !
