It is beautiful and my dream college.
Placements: About 50% of students get placed. Every type of company visits our college and gives opportunities for students. Our college is approved by the NBA. So it has many options. Top companies like Accenture, Infosys, KCL, PwC, etc., visit the college for placements. We have to do a minimum of 3 internships. Our professors also help with it.
Infrastructure: The hostel is so good. There are 3 sharing rooms, 5-sharing rooms or more. Food is so good and healthy. Security is also strict strict there. Hostels are so large and all are available inside the college. It has Wi-Fi facilities also here and a cooler. In our canteen, we get special food for two days a week.
Faculty: Faculty members are so responsible and supportive.
Other: I chose this course because this course has two fields non-core and core. The college has so many opportunities for both fields. Professors also give so many offers and opportunities. We celebrate every function so smoothly. Everyone wants to participate and we enjoy so much. We can participate in the IIT fest also. In the fest, students from other countries also come to enjoy.

This college is perfect in terms of return on investment.
Placements: Placements are average. They are not too good and not too bad. The average salary package offered in our CSE branch is about 7 LPA. The overall package offered to all branches is about 4 LPA. Last time, our senior cracked a salary package of 30 LPA.
Infrastructure: I am not staying in the hostel, so I can't review it. But our course is amazing. The syllabus specifically targets a job curriculum for a better placement of students in our college. My friends told me that hostels are not too good but not too bad either.
Faculty: Some of our faculty members are very good and well-experienced, but some are new in this profession. There is a mixed environment where we get to learn the core things as well as the advanced things. I will rate it 4 out of 5. Practical teachers are too good.

Brutally Honest Review!
Placements: In my course, approximately 55% of students were placed in MNCs, and the total placement was 70 to 80%. Be assured to have 60% or above in 10 and 12 along with a maximum 2-year education gap. The highest 45 LPA off-campus Amazon only for girls. Next 15 LPA off-campus. On-campus maximum 9 Wiley Edge. The average is 3.5 LPA. The lowest 2.4 to 0. No core company for ECE. Even if a core company, most are local companies offering below-average packages. Mostly IT service-based MNCs recruit. Students have to arrange their internships if they can off-campus. Roles offered are fresher roles in IT service companies. 2023 was the last year when market conditions were good. 2024 saw a massive dip in placement, maybe 20% of the total batch, and with changing market dynamics, things can get worse for most engineering colleges. Core branches states are lower than my branch.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in hostels free of cost. Classrooms are below average. Hostel rooms are below average. The library is good. 4 people stay in 1 room, very congested. The mess food is average, medical facilities are good, sports and game opportunities are there, a restaurant is there, and a gym is there. Seniors will rag juniors and damage junior's hostels and rooms. Damaged toilets take 1 week to repair. Common washrooms are there in most hostels.
Faculty: The curriculum is not up to the mark. Practical knowledge is below average. Some teachers were very helpful. Few are knowledgeable. Teachers have Ph.D. and Masters. The curriculum does not make students industry-ready, you have to work yourself. Semester exams are moderate, most students hate, and almost everyone passes. But most private engineering colleges have the same curriculum so can't help but criticize much.
Other: The college can focus on admitting quality students instead of direct admissions. The crowd is not that good from a career point of view. Students are unruly, ragging is still very much there. Physical and verbal ragging, especially for boys. Discipline should need to be improved. Good fests happen throughout the year, from a fun point of view, the crowd is good. Haldia is a remote location, 5 hrs journey to Kolkata. The campus is beautiful. Extracurricular activities are good. Haldia is peaceful. Good students will shine anywhere, the condition is, have good company and assess the people you'll spend your 4 years. A good college if you only need a degree and not much academic hassle. Good if you are preparing for competitive exams as you will get ample time.

Affordable college, better placements, and good campus life.
Placements: Previous Year Placement: 90% of students placed. Current Year Placement (Till Date): Approximately 50% of students placed. Salary Packages: the highest Package: INR 40 LPA. Average Package: INR 7 LPA. The lowest Package: INR 2.5 LPA. Top Recruiters: Accenture, Infosys, Mindtree, Capgemini, Cognizant, IBM, PwC, and others. Roles Offered: Popular Roles: Associate System Engineer, Software Engineer, Software Developed Engineer (SDE), etc. Recruitment Distribution: Approximately 30-50% students placed in different companies.
Infrastructure: Well infrastructure, advance and digital lab, good campus area, Smart classes, big rooms, AC classroom, Big library with good number of books in different collections, Overall quiet decent facility. Quality of food is quite good of hostels mess. Notmuch good then also not too bad. You can prefer outside food by making order on call or go on hotel, all are at walking distance. Rest all are good be it canteen or all good amount of tournament be it league match, department match, annual sports all happen time to time.
Faculty: Teachers are well-supportive in classes and off classes at the time of placement. They are well-educated with good degree holders like M.Tech, Ph.D, doctorates, and so on. The curriculum is the latest industry-based. It is updated and to be concise. It helps in adapting to the latest technology and all. Semester exams are quite easy. You can pass it even by reading before examination days. Be it lab or theory, all papers are easy. The pass percentage is 30% out of 70%. The rest will be internal marks.
Other: I chose this course because nowadays, technology is evolving day to day. Even another reason is that in the government exam, there is too much competition and by doing this course. There is a good chance of getting a job. I think training and internship must be provided by the college. This makes students much more ready for projects and helps in survival in a competitive world. There are different fests like Prayukti, River, cultural fests, annual sports fests, and foundation days, and many are held. Scholarships are provided for home-state students and by the Indian government. Some category-wise scholarships are available.

Haldia Institute of Technology.
Placements: While placements aren't exceptional, they are not dismissals either. On the first day, our course professors assured us that if we attended classes diligently and followed the curriculum, a job would be guaranteed. However, the salary package is too low in that case. To secure a more competitive salary, students must go beyond the classroom and put in significant extra effort on their own. In conclusion, while not comparable to top colleges like IITs or NITs, the ROI is solid. I am giving 4 stars for good ROI.
Infrastructure: Hostels have high-speed Wi-Fi, but there is no wide campus. Wi-Fi and mobile network coverage is poor. The best 5g speed we got is 60 Mbps, but switching to Jio works better. They are adding a 4th floor to the building, which you will notice upon arrival. Overall, the infrastructure is good with ample grounds for sports. Hostels offer indoor and outdoor games like chess, table tennis, cricket, football, and carrom with hostel-level tournaments. The library is huge with books for even UPSC, SSC, M. Tech, and more. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items are available daily in hostels.
Faculty: Our faculty members are helpful and accessible via call or WhatsApp for doubts. They are knowledgeable with many holding PhDs from USA, Israel, and Germany. The curriculum is designed to help secure a 5 LPA job. Semesters are relatively easy, with almost everyone passing.
Other: For first-year students, there is Ranichak Hostel. It has the best food and keeps you out of everyone's range.

Haldia institute of technology College review.
Placements: The highest package is 33 LPA in 2024. Top companies are PWC, Cognizant, and GEOG. The placement percentage is 80%. More than 91% of students got internships in big companies like Flipkart. The lowest package that the company offers is 3.8 LPA. Most of the students get placed in IT companies.
Infrastructure: In this college, the annual fest is Prayukti. There are cafes and stores inside the campus. Most of the colleges don't have clubs, and even if they have, they are not active. We boast about the activities inside; these are very important to the all-around development of the students.
Faculty: The faculty members are cooperating and supportive, and the Chemistry faculty members are my favorite. There are three exams in each semester: first is CT1, CT2, and end-sem. CT1 is easy, class-based questions, and the end-sem of the college is moderate. Most of the students cleared the college exam. The course curriculum of this college is the same for all the first-year students.
