Reality behind four pillars.

Placements: Not many students get placed. But the average salary package offered is quite good enough to manage, as in a private college. The highest salary package offered depends on how well one masters a skill to get into a multinational company. If one has good skills, one can crack into any company.

Haldia institute of good extra curriculum activities. You will enjoy in this college.

Placements: Around 80% of students are placed in the Computer Science & Engineering course. The highest package is 23 LPA, the lowest package was 1.5 LPA, and the average package is 4-5 LPA. Wipro, TCS, and Accenture are the top companies for my course. Almost 90% of students get internships.

An Enriching Academic Journey at Haldia Institute of Technology.

I'm dissatisfied with the management of my college. Faculty members and the infrastructure are good.

Placements: Around 50% of the students from the mechanical engineering branch were placed. The highest salary package offered here was around 5.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies here were HPL (Haldia Petrochemicals), Super Gas, Sanmar industry, Bengal Tools, Infosys, Byju's, Extramarks and Bengal Energy Limited (it was a bad placement as it changes its package after selection).

I am not satisfied due to professors, lack of club activities and staff members are less supportive.

Placements: The placement rate is good in our branch as the maximum number of students got placed. The highest salary package offered here differs every year. The highest salary package offered varies from 15 LPA to 8 LPA, while the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is approximately 3 LPA. Infosys and Wipro are the mass recruiters for our college. Only a few students got internships on their own, and roles like a database manager, technical, etc., are offered here.

It is the best college for engineering because it has good placements and quality teaching.

Placements: I have completed B.Tech in electronics and communication engineering from haldia institute of technology in 2019. The percentage of students got placed is about 50% according to me. The highest package offered are 4lpa and the lowest is around 1.8lpa. The average will be 2.4lpa. The companies visiting college are tcs, wipro, marketing companies and many others. Around 30% get internship from company. The roles offered in cource are co-coordinator, class leader.

Placements: The placements of the college are not good, The companies like Infosys, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra have visited this year for recruitment. The average salary package offered was between 3-4 LPA. This year, the highest salary package offered was 7 LPA. Most of the students placed are from CSE, IT and ECE branches.

Overall, our college is okay, but it depends on students to make their college life good.

Placements: The main companies that visit our college to offer placements are Infosys and Wipro, and they visit in September. Placements are good for the students of CSE, IT, and ECE branches. Also, the students of other branches can grab the opportunity, but the main problem is that placements are going down year by year because of the location of our college as it is in Haldia which is far from Kolkata. The transport system is not very good.

Dissatisfied with the college as a student of the information technology department.

Placements: Placements in our college for our seniors were below average. In 2018, about 25% of the students got placed through college placements. The average salary offered of our seniors who got placed in 2018 was Rs. 22,500 per month. The highest package offered was Rs. 35,000 per month. Companies like Wipro and Infosys offered the jobs to the students of 2018 batch. There is a placement cell, but they do not do their work properly.

The college is similar to many colleges in India.

Placements: Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Zomato, etc., visited the college to conduct placements. I consider those companies as a cattle field. After joining one of them, I realised that I could have done that job even when I was in my 12th standard. There is no need for a degree. These organisations give you the work, based on a lucky draw, but not based on your potential.

A college with good Infrastructure and Teachers.

Placements: Placements are not good in core branches, but for other technical branches placements are comparatively better. Many software companies such as WIPRO, INFOSYS, etc. Comes for mass recruitment. The highest package is 10 lacs and average package is 3 to 4 lacs per annum. 70% of students got the placements last year. Mostly software companies and analytics companies visit our campus.

Except placement everything is good.

Placements: Faculty members r good helpful but they r new and less experience. All r high qualified but lack of teaching experience. Teaching methods are blackboard and through PPT presentation. You will not get a good industry exposure. U have to study lot by self. Good luck.

U have to build you own knowledge. U have to guide urself.

Placements: Over all placement is bellow average or average as per the present placement scenario. IT companies are mainly coming. Less student gets placed in core companies. Good placement for CSE IT ECE students. Mechanical development have pretty less placement record.

Overall, the college is good to study B.Tech course. The only disadvantage is the faculty.

Placements: Placements in this college are quite good, and it is better than other private colleges. So, if anyone has good marks and good knowledge, then he/she can get the job. The placements of the core branches are less than non-core branches, so choose your department carefully.

Because of lack of management, lack of skills and facilities can't be compared to top colleges.

Placements: Basically, placement of 2018 was an average one because of less vacancy from companies but it was much better than other colleges in West Bengal (especially chemical engineering). If go through past batches the placement was good and crosses more than 60%. Talking about the highest package it was offered by HPL, Haldia (~6.5lpa) and average package is 12-15k per month. For more detail you can contact college website.

Below average because of faculty and the worst placement.

Placements: Placement for electrical engineering branch are not good, only software company visited here. For ee no scope of getting job in core. Average 15-20 are placed in software field. But placement of CSE of too good. 60-70% CSE are placed. Chemical, food technology, ECE are average from the placement point of view.

Best quality of college in Bengal.

Placements: So many companies like Wipro, Infosys, Tata comes every year for mass recruitment. There are so many other companies who are trying their demands to have a good quality student. They posses a good career and sarcasm. We are happy that our college is good.

The college has average placements with good faculty.

Placements: Here, the placements are moderate, that is, it is neither less nor more. This year, the highest salary package goes up to 9 lacs per annum, and the minimum goes to Rs. 3,60,000 per annum. So, the placement is good when compared to other colleges. The placements do take place on the campus.
