Good college due to its academic and other cultural programmes.
Placements: Most of the students were placed in B. Teach CSE. The highest package range around 12-15 LPA and the lowest package offered is around 5 LPA. The companies offering placement include L&T, Adobe scan etc. And my college has collaborated with IIT ROORKEE. Most of the events in IIT Roorkee can be exceeded through our college like fest, workshop by IIT professors. Recently a package of 17 LPA was also offered in B.Sc. Agriculture in the University.
Infrastructure: The facilities of the college are very good in their respective subjects and also the guide us for various educational skills. The labs are good. Free Wi-Fi is available in hostel. The library is a good place for studying in groups and alone especially during exam time. There are various others books for the preparation of competitive exams like GATE UPSC etc. Classrooms are good. The canteen is okay-okay. There are various sports facilities conducted in the College and NCC training is also conducted.
Faculty: The teachers are humble and polite. Exams conducted are related to the subjects to grow knowledge in a particular subject. The course curriculum helps and guides the students for industry life. There are educational trips conducted like Mussoorie, Vrindavan, Mathura, Sarkanda Devi temple, and Tehri Lake. Other than studies there are various other programs conducted.
Other: I chose this college due to its interact and greenery. Another reason was that it has a collaboration with IIT Roorkee.

I'm satisfied with faculty members.
Placements: Well, it's my first year so I've only heard about the placements. As far as I know, placements are good. We met many alumni of our college during our orientation session. They're at very good position now. This year I've seen that our seniors have been placed with good LPA but they are in another course. Placements are good in my course too.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi facility is provided to us and the lab is good with equipment. The library is also good and all course books are available. You don't need to buy any books for the course especially. The library also has other materials for competitive exams like UPSC GATE etc. The classroom is good. But one thing is in our Physics lab, there is sufficient equipment but they don't work out. Hope they'll resolve it. If I talk about hostels, facilities are good, cleanliness is maintained, and mess is also good.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very nice. I don't know about other courses, but in my course, they're very supportive. They always try to help and guide us for a successful future. They guide us and tell us about different ideas and opportunities. The curriculum is relevant. They organize hackathons, techthon, seminars, etc. Semesters are exams are up to level. But the fact is, if you study, then exams are easy.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty And not good placements
Placements: Haridwar University (previously known as Roorkee College of Engineering or RCE) offers placement opportunities in various streams, particularly for engineering, management, and commerce students. Top Recruiters are TCS, Wipro.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided for the B.Com course at Haridwar University typically includes facilities that support both academic learning and overall student development. Smart Classrooms equipped with digital tools like projectors and smart boards to enhance interactive learning. Comfortable seating arrangements with adequate lighting and ventilation are there.
Faculty: The university employs qualified professors with expertise in accounting, finance, economics, and business management. Many of the faculty members hold advanced degrees such as PhDs, and some may have industry experience, contributing practical insights into their teaching.

It is a good college. Good infrastructure.
Placements: Average of 80 percent students were placed. The highest package was around 85 LPA, the average package was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA. From our course, 90 percent students got internship. The top companies were Adobe, Tata, and so on. The top roles offered were at the post of CEO and senior manager.
Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure typically offers shared rooms with essential amenities such as Wi-Fi, mess services, and recreational space. While the facilities may lack modern luxuries, they usually meet the basic needs of students. Cleanliness and security are prioritized, though space and ventilation can sometimes be limited. Overall, while the infrastructure in Tier 3 colleges may not be cutting-edge, it provides a supportive environment for both academic and personal growth.
Faculty: Here in our college, we have good faculty, and many teachers are Ph.D. holders, some of them were researchers. The curriculum of this college makes the students industry-ready for sure. The semester exams are difficult but not that hard. The faculty of this college is very supportive.
Other: I chose this course because the future of this course is very good because of AI. I chose this course. The improvement could be more practical labs and interactive sessions by mentors.

Excellent Campus Life, Supportive Faculty, and Strong Academics at Haridwar University
Placements: In the 2022 batch at Haridwar University, around 94% of students were placed, with the highest package at 28 LPA, the lowest at 3 LPA, and an average package of 4 to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Byjus, Indian Navy, etc. The top roles offered were app development. Overall, placements are strong, but success largely depends on individual skills and preparation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course at Haridwar University is excellent, with well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, a well-stocked library, and reliable Wi-Fi, though it occasionally has issues. The hostel facilities are comfortable, with clean rooms and good quality food in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities are available on campus, and there are plenty of sports and games options for students.
Faculty: The faculty at Haridwar University is knowledgeable and helpful, offering good teaching quality. The curriculum is relevant and industry-focused, balancing theory and practical learning to make students job-ready. Exams are of moderate difficulty, and with proper preparation, most students pass comfortably, reflecting a strong pass percentage.
Other: I was part of the 2022 - 2026 batch and chose BTech in Computer Science and Engineering because of its strong curriculum and practical approach. The course offers a great balance of theory and hands-on experience. However, I think more industry collaborations could enhance learning. The campus is vibrant with regular events, a diverse crowd, and excellent extracurricular opportunities. It's well-connected and offers peaceful surroundings, making it an ideal place to study.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty. It really has good campus and average infrastructure.
Placements: Hello Everyone! My graduation is from (2023-2026); currently, I am in 2nd year. Many of the students are placed in several companies. Out of 27 students, 4 students got the placement. It totally depends upon you. How much you study Most of the students in my class were below average or average, and some of the students were good at studies. That good students got placement and some got off-campus placement. We got an internship, but that's not that worth it. We didn't get any specialization in this university.
Infrastructure: We got a classroom that is so small, Wi-Fi connection is poor here. In labs there are so many computers, but most of them are not working. If working there, there is no software for coding. You have to bring your own system for coding. You can do coding in a free online compiler. Library is also small. You will get your books according to your course, but rather than your course, there is nothing. Like any storybooks or any motivational books, etc. I am a day scholar, so I don't know about the hostel food. But my hostel friends used to say food is not so good; they used to order food from Zomato or Swiggy most of the time. Medical facilities are so poor. I don't know about the sports and games because I am not involved in this stuff.
Faculty: I am currently in 2nd year BCA, and we didn't get good faculty members at all. They are not that much qualified. But, yes, programming teachers are good, and they have good knowledge of their field. I couldn't say the academic skills make students perfect for the jobs. Semester exams are not that much difficult. If you study 1 week before the exam, you can score more than 8 CGPA. Pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I was basically from the bio stream. But my interest was in the IT field, so I switched my stream from bio to IT. This college was affordable for me according to a private college. It is a very strict college. You will feel like you're studying school again after passing out from 12th. You have to follow rules and regulations. Maintain 75% attendance, proper uniform, class tests, mid-seems, etc. The best thing is that you will get some free space compared to B. Teach for your extracurricular activities. You can learn any technology side by side. Again I am saying anybody can manage the time. If I got the opportunity to change something in my course, I would add some soft skills activities too. Events at the campus crowd these are amazing. This university provides you a lot of scholarships and involves you in extracurricular activities, which is very good.
