Haridwar University Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Roorkee

Placements: I’m a 1st year student and so we didn't get any placements yet. But this year B.Tech CSE student got a package of 4 LPA. It's based upon your luck and skills. Mainly the companies for BCA are Wipro, TCS, IBM, Mahindra, etc. I don't have more information as I'm just a 1st year’s student.

Placements: 50% of B.Tech. students get placement. Agriculture students rarely get many placement offers. This year, agriculture seniors did not get any placement offers from the college. The average package for B.Tech is INR 5 lacs per annum and the highest is above INR 50 lacs per annum.

Placements: There were no placements and no placement assistance during the peak of covid. None of my batchmates got placed in any company through our college. Everyone got placed off-campus through their hard work.

Placements: Placements are not provided by the college.

Placements: The college provides fake placements. They mention in banners that almost 94% of placements are guaranteed. I got placement in two companies during campus drive. One company was fake, and the other one said that you need to learn the software in 3 months and then you can join the company.

Placements: There were appropriate placements for my senior batch. There were 80% students placed in good companies. The highest salary was 12.7 LPA and the lowest salary was 2.5 LPA and average salary was 3.8 LPA offers by companies. HADOOP, oracle and so more companies visited the campus.

Placements: The placements for our senior batch are better than the placements of other colleges. 80% of the students were placed from this college. The highest package offered is 14 LPA, the lowest package offered is 3 LPA and the average package offered is 4.5 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Google visit the college for campus placements. The college has a placement cell.

Placements: My senior batch got placed in private companies at very low packages, but some of them got the best packages. The highest package is 9.5 lacs per annum, lowest is 1.5 lacs per annum and the average is 4 lacs per annum. DEO, software engineer, IOT expert, etc. roles were offered. Almost 60% students got internships from college, but no stipend was offered.

Placements: There are placements in all the field, but the package offered is too low. According to this college, the highest package was 13.7 LPA, but this package was covered-up only once that too in the year 2013. So, we would say that there are no good placements. The college says that the companies like Microsoft, Google, Infosys, Wipro come here for the recruitment, but in reality, no big MNC company come here for the placement. Placements: Companies are invited for recruitment but not the MNCs and PSUs but the local vendors of Sidcul Haridwar. It depends on the student's ability to get a job. However, the placement record is about 50% and this is just because the students' communication skills are not up to the mark.

The campus lies on the Haridwar canal road. It is at a perfect location, away from city rush and in peace. The college needs a lot of improvement and development on the infrastructural front. The faculty members are very cooperative and understanding. There are improvements required in almost every section and area, as it is developing college. The college must have some real co-curricular activities for overall development of the students. Overall, I have a positive opinion of this college

Placements: Haridwar University (previously known as Roorkee College of Engineering or RCE) offers placement opportunities in various streams, particularly for engineering, management, and commerce students. Top Recruiters are TCS, Wipro.

Placements: It was a good college. Placements were good. Companies visited the campus and provided good salary packages. The college was supportive. It helped students to get jobs easily without facing any problems.

Placements: 1. Around 70% were placed. 2. 6.5lakh per annum. 3. Jaro education, plants etc. 4. Navy, marketing. 5. The lowest- 2-3lakh per annum and the highest 6-7lakh per annum. 4. Around 40% of the students get placed but in marketing sector, and around 10-20% around education company like BYJU's.

Placements: Our college provides good quality of placement. 85% of students get placed every year. The salary packages are satisfactory. Our college is very supportive. It makes placement easy and pleasant for students. Many giant companies recruit students every year and international companies also come for recruitment. The placement cell gives the best training to the student from the starting.
