Hindu College, Sonepat was established in the year 1956 and in 1958 it carved out a niche for itself in the former composite Punjab State in the form of a creditable institution when its student Ramdhan Singh topped the merit list of Intermediate examination (F.A) conducted by the Panjab University, Chandigarh to which this college stood affiliated at that time.

PG Admission
Hindu College comprises of PG level programmes focusing on the area of Science, Commerce and Humanities & Social Sciences. Master of Arts (MA) is offered with a duration period of two years.

1. Application for admission in any course will be as per MDU’s Prospectus & Rules
2. The Principal reserves the right to reject any application form for admission without assigning any reason whatsoever.
3. The admission to the second and third years will be as per MDU’s guidelines
4. At the time of admission, a student must be accompanied by his/her parent/guardian
5. There is no provision for admitting students as 'casual students'
