Placements: My course is B.Sc in nautical science, and my batch is B.Sc 6A. Almost 45% of the students from our course got placed until now. By the end of the course in July, almost 70%-80% of the students who clear all subject until now will get placed. Top recruiting companies for our course are MOL Tankers, Goodwood, Chellship, MSI, MOL Container and Sanmar. The salary package offered to students can vary from company to company. The highest salary package offered can be 600-700$ per annum.
Placements: Around 75% of my seniors are getting placed in the campus interviews. The seniors who haven't gotten placed still got an opportunity to sit for campus interviews after they graduated. It is said that HIMT has a good brand value which opens many doors for them and which helps in the future.
Placements: I am not sure about placements percentage, but a good number of students got placed. I don't have much idea about the salary packages offered. Goodwood Shipping Management was the top recruiting company of our college. Students got internships in companies like Goodwood, Arka Global Marine Services and few more are yet to come.
Placements: As I am still studying, I can talk about the placements of our seniors. Over 80-85% of our seniors are placed. Top companies like Maersk, Goodwood, Torm Shipping, Anglo, etc., visit here for placements, and most of the students from B.Tech and B.Sc are getting placed in them.
Placements: Around 90% of my batchmates got placed in campus interview. Even after leaving the college, it was surprising that the placement team contacted the students who were not placed and offered them a chance to sit for interviews with other companies along with the exiting batch of students. Hence, definitely by now all my batchmates would have been placed and would be actively working onboard vessels.
Placements: Around 80% of my batchmates were placed in the college interview. Rest of them got placed after the course at the placements in HIMT College itself. Most of my colleagues got placed in top companies. Companies like Goodwood, Maersk, Fleet, Oceansparkle, etc. Come for interview.
Placements: Placements were pretty good. If you score well without any arrears, placement chances for you are high. Many companies visit the campus to offer placements, but it depends on how we perform in the interview. The placement team is helpful, and the staff help the shortlisted students to crack the final interview.
Placements: HIMT is one of the good colleges for marine engineering. HIMT offers B.Tech, B.Sc, GME, GP rating courses. One can get the best placement from this college. Companies like NYK, BSM, PIL, TORM visited here and recruited some of the cadets. In my opinion, this college can give good placements like a cadet wants.
Placements: The placements are average. They are not getting too many companies, and still, only one campus interview is done and not more than that. If you get placed, the college will take it. If you make any minor mistake on the campus, there will be no placements for you. You cannot ask for placements from college. If you ask then, they say that you are not showing good performance.
Placements: Though placements were hard to come by at the initial stages for us being the first batch of B.Tech Marine Engineering, the scenario has changed completely now, with top rated companies such as TORM, Anglo Eastern, Thome, MOL Synergy, Pacific International Lines, VR Maritime, etc regularly selecting students from HIMT. But there still is a long long way to go.
Good have missed always. My college have good facilities and environment. The college has good placement and crowed campus with Good management. Good cafeteria, gym, hostel and library. The college provides good transportation. It has very low fees and gives scholarship as well. To everyone, they provide training at best industries.
Placements: The placements at HIMT are way better than rest of the institute, In my batch nearly 85% are placed in various reputed companies like Synergy, Western Shipping, VR Maritime, Wallem, Feet Management, M.Sc. and D'Amico Shipping etc. Efforts put on by the management regarding the placements are appreciable, and they are reason behind all our success.
Placements: In my college, 80 percent of students got placements. Top recruiters are BSM, MEARSK, M.Sc. EASTWAY, etc. More than 80 percent of students got internships. The fee for the ETO course is like 3 LPA for the full course, including food and hostel. The fees are less compared to other colleges by 20-30 percent. It has one of the most hi-tech VR labs.
Placements: 90% of cadets are placed. The companies includes BSM, MAESEK line, MOL, SYNERGY, FLEET management, Good wood and many more. The faculty members will give their best to get every one of the cadets to get placed; for that, they will conduct extra classes that are solely focused on the interview point of view .
Placements: Placements are good. Frequently visited by companies. Good companies come to take students. Approximately 100 percent placement. Frequent VIP visits are there at the college. Good companies. Famous companies. Big and famous companies. Good placement.
Placements: In our college 2024 passing out batch about 80% got placements. And still there placement drive is going on. The companies which are coming are Synergy, Mol, Bsm, D'amico, Dynacom, Marshal, Goodwood, Vr maritime, Molta, Bw marine, Sanmar shipping, Maersk, chellaram shipping .
Placements: Placements have improved quite a lot in the past few years. Our batch has almost 80 percent placement, including me. I am placed with D'amico. We have many companies like MOL, MOLTA, PIL, D'amico, Eastaway, Marshall, Sanmar, and many more. If you stay clear throughout your semesters, it's not difficult to get placement in HIMT.
Placements: Students who score good marks will easily get placed in our college, but it can still be challenging due to the high number of competitors. Almost 73% of students got placed in our college. Top companies visit our college to recruit students.
Placements: I am B.Sc Nautical Science final year cadet. My course completion date is 31st july and by march 6th there are total 45% cadet placed who are all clear in their exam and still 2 to 3 companies will come so placement percentage will reach upto 75 to 80%. MOL is the top recruiting company. Top salary is 600 US Dollar and the lowest salary is 400 US Dollar for deck cadet.
