There's a placement cell in the college, but it failed in inviting companies to campus or inviting companies that offer decent salary packages.

A good college in a great environment.
Placements: There is a good placements rate in this college, as I found during my college period. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA and the average salary package offered ranges from 3.5 LPA-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Amazon, TCS, and many others. Placements are done according the skills students have.
Infrastructure: This college has well-arranged labs for each subject, such as Java lab, machine learning lab, object-oriented programming lab, physics lab, chemistry lab, and other labs for mechanical and electrical courses. But, this college doesn't have a hostel, but one can easily find PG accommodations near the college.
Faculty: Many teachers are helpful in this college. Teachers are well-qualified, have good knowledge of the courses they teach, and possess great teaching quality. All courses taught here are curriculum-relevant and prepare students to work in the industry.

An average college, choose only if you don't have any other option.
Placements: Placement opportunities are not very good in this college. Most students are going for a master's degree or trying for off-campus placements. There are no job or internship opportunities through college till 3rd year. Very few placements are available in the final year. Students are worried about their placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good but very small. There is Wi-Fi in the college but students don't have access, and only some of them work. Labs are average and some computers have an internet connection and some do not. Other labs are fine. Computer labs have air conditioners but classrooms are non-air-conditioned. The canteen food is average. Wi-Fi does not work in the library.
Faculty: Some teachers are very good, disciplined, and helpful. Students will see every kind of teacher here. They are different from each other. The difficulty level of semester exams is medium. One can easily pass them. In our batch, there are two exams conducted in each semester, one is mid-semester and the other is end-semester. Mid-semester exam is conducted for 30 marks, based on which internal marks of 25 are given to students with assignments and attendance. The end-semester exams are conducted for 75 marks. This is an external theory paper exam which is conducted in some other colleges of IPU. The passing mark is 40 out of 100 but now this changed to a 60-40 mark system. There are also practical exams. Internals are conducted for 40 marks and externals are conducted for 60 marks.

Campus and placement of HMRITM is below average.
Placements: After the batch of year 2018-22, no on-campus placements are provided either due to recession or whatever reason. But 3 students were placed in Accenture with 12Lpa in 2022. HMRITM provides B. Teach courses only in computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, AI and data Science.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi or mobile data doesn't work in most of the area of this college. Canteen, library and medical facilities are good. A small playground is there for sports. No hostel is available in HMR. There is no Air conditioner in any classroom except seminar room. Labs are there for any experiment.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful in works and assignments and are also understanding when it comes to short attendance. Semester mid term exam sheet are checked smoothly and they give overall good internal marks. Festival, functions or fest are celebrated only 2-3 times in a year.
Other: Reaching about college is a difficult process as the HMRITM is located within a village type place.

Just join for an IPU degree, not okay with campus surroundings and no campus life.
Placements: Approximately 50% of students got placed. Another 20% of students got jobs by applying off-campus. The highest salary package offered is 21 LPA. It is according to the college record. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. As far as I know, TCS hires most of the students in our college. Third year hardly anyone got any internship but in the 4th year, students get internships in startups or TCS. Our course is IT, so the role offered is a software engineer.
Infrastructure: There are no hostel facilities. Our college is very far from the main city. It is the hardest to reach. The area is not good around so students can't stay there till late. It's a village practically and highway transport takes most of the time approximately 2 hours daily. It also depends on buses and traffic. The location is the worst. I belong to Bihar and came to Delhi for college, and due to no hostel availability, I have to take a PG. It is 1.5 KM from the college because it is only a decent place to live. The uncle keeps changing sometimes. The canteen food is sometimes good and sometimes bad. There is no constant. There is a medical room and one doctor is always present so that's good somehow but don't expect fancy treatment. They provide treatments like Advil and Pudin Hara. For sports and games, students have and bring their equipment to play and find players. They have to do everything on their own. They don't provide a Wi-Fi password. In labs, computers don't work. The library is just for a show but students can borrow academic books.
Faculty: Teachers are good but mostly are freshers. They leave after a semester because they find new jobs. There are no constant teachers. Our college works according to the GGSIP curriculum so it doesn't make anyone industry-ready. Students have to do it by themselves. Semester exams are easy to medium and sometimes difficult. The passing percentage is 7 CGPA.
Other: I thought about its difference from CS. It keeps on improving working on both hardware and software of the system. Adding some more courses would be better. There are no fests, the campus crowd, and connectivity. The campus surroundings are not good.

Great faculty and exam structure but you have to compromise with the infrastructure.
Placements: In my branch, placement is average and the starting package is around 3.5 LPA and most of the students get placed, but you have to maintain at least 7.5 CGPA. The highest package is 35 LPA and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Students can start as an intern in different companies for a start and gain work experience for better jobs.
Infrastructure: Our institute is around 4 acres in area, including education building grounds and a canteen. Provide many facilities, such as a wide range of books for studying in the library and Wi-Fi to access the e-library. The food in the canteen is excellent, and there is a wide selection to choose from. They provide sports facilities such as volleyball, football, table tennis, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly and each of them is qualified and knowledgeable. Lectures are held according to a timetable starting from 9 am to 4 p.m., with 2 breaks in between. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant and does make the students industry ready but students still have to improve their skills on their own.

This college has serious transportation problems.
Placements: In my college, we have around 80%-85% on-campus placements. Remaining students either pursue off-campus opportunities or secure jobs based on their skills. I believe gaining skills is what truly matters. I hardly attend college, except to maintain the required attendance.
Infrastructure: Recently, workers painted walls of my college, and it looks good, not going to lie. However, air-conditioners in labs are not working, and there is always humidity, especially in labs on top floor. Labs on second floor do not even have air-conditioners. Library is good in terms of infrastructure but has repetitive books related to the syllabus.
Faculty: Some professors are quite supportive, not going to lie, but others are the complete opposite and can be very annoying to deal with. While some teachers are well-qualified for their jobs, others are lazy and lack knowledge about subjects they teach. Additionally, some professors handle multiple subjects.
