HMR- just another engineering college.

Placements: The placements are not good. Since it also depends on the current market conditions, the college didn't take many measures to cover up the placements. Our seniors had a better placement conditions compared to our batch. The average package stays at 3 LPA, the maximum went to just 1 student at 11 LPA and the minimum was 2.5 LPA. Infosys, HCL, Eshopbox, IGT, CSC, NIIT Technologies, and some others visited the campus. Job profiles like software trainee, BPO, KPO, voice operations, business developm...

Honest opinion of what I felt.

Placements: I never took part in the placements drive as I was going for MS to the united states but if I remember correctly, there were only 2-3 companies which came to the campus for placements. Out of those companies, one was basically a call centre which I believe is not a place for an engineer to get placed.

Could improve by leaps and bounds if they give importance to the key areas like infrastructure etc.

Placements: The placements were good in our year. We had various companies visiting our campus, and Infosys was one of the major companies that visited and selected 67 students. Also, various other companies came to our campus. We were offered the roles of Software Engineers and Analysts mostly. We had a summer internship program which was organised in our college by Almamte.

On the basis of student satisfaction, I will be rating it as 5 out of 10.

Placements: The on-campus placement is not good. The T&P cell has no less capability but the management is money earning-oriented. The package I got was the highest at 4.5 LPA. There is a lot of scope of improvement in the placements as off-campus placements must not be included in the placement record of colleges as it is not really the effort of the college itself. The colleges should be bound to deliver the minimum percentage of placements which should be predefined with the minimum base package because ...

A decent college if you don't have any other option available. The labs were sufficient to carry out any practical that is there in the syllabus. Classrooms were very basic. A few were well ventilated but the others were very dingy. Major mobile phone network issues in some rooms. Placements were not that good during my time but now I've heard that quite a few companies have started coming to campus for recruitment. Some faculty members were really knowledgeable but the majority were not up to t...

I wish it had some placements. It also is at a remote location and better faculty would have helped. Campus is huge though and canteen is very average. I hope things have changed now. One should specifically check on last placements in case you wish to join MBA course. Otherwise, don't join.

I completed my MCA from this institute. Teachers are good and serious about studies and practical knowledge is less. Canteen is average. There is no mall or cinema hall nearby. Infrastructure is good. It has a decent ground but not allowed to play any game.

I am pursuing MBA from this college. Location is biggest flaw of this college. Teachers are very formal and supportive. But at some point you'll feel students aren't passionate enough here. Infrastructure isn't furnished at all, you'll feel like you are wandering in a government school. Library isn't worth calling a library, and you have to provide them your some identity proof even for checking out a book. College buses, they got a really vast number of buses, but unlike they promise, buses are...

The college is very good as per the study point of view but there not so much space as for ground and parking. Some faculty is so good but some are so much inexperienced. The management is not so good. The director is a mad man. He does not know how to regulate and direct an education institution as he behaves like illiterates. Canteen is not so good but above average. It is not reachable.

Good infrastructure but bad management. Teachers are not good. No extracurricular activities are encouraged in the college. Hiring of faculty should be good in order to improve the education. Placements is a big problem, none of the companies come to this college for placements. You have to put your own efforts after passing out.

My college is 32km away from Kashmiri gate. Can get transportation easily for the College from any part of Delhi. For admission you have to score a rank in IPU Exam or management quota. Only reason to join college is it's in Delhi and affiliated to IPU. College is trying to conduct VAP program and internship in abroad. If you can afford it then go for it.

Bad infrastructure but good faculty.

Placements: The college placement are almost average and the almost 90 per cent students gets on campus placement. The highest package I have seen yet is around 30lpa and the lowest I have seen is 1.5lpa. But I am not sure about the off campus placement, I can be a much bigger amount.

A college you can pursue but only when things go out of Hand

Placements: Many students are placed in my college about 70% but the problem is that the package is not much . College claim that the highest package offered was once 32 lakhs pa but seems unbelievable to me . Average package is like 4-5 lakhs pa not great in my opinion. But ya the college is upgrading because it's become one of the only IPU college to have a partenshipwith GeekForGeeks. So ya it will change but when no idea .

Dissatisfied because placement in 2018-19 was very low

Placements: In the mechanical and automation branch, placement is pretty low. Only 2% of the students are placed in our batch. In our course, 12 LPA is the highest package and 3.2 LPA is the lowest package. Unfortunately, no core company come for recruiting in our course instead, the IT companies like TCS hire more students in our batch. Almost 99% of students got internships but through their own sources or by clearing the exams for top organizations like DRDO, BARC, Railways, etc. Some work with private o...

Nice faculty but infrastructure is too bad.

Placements: The highest package is 15 lpa and average of 4 lpa and most students of CS IT were placed but the placement of other branches are too low if you take admission then take on only CS or IT branch and most of the students are placed in the service based companies like Wipro TCS.

If you have lack of options, you can join this college.

Placements: Around 50% of the students were placed in mass recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro through pool placements. The average package was 3.5 Lakh per annum. The lowest package was 2 Lakh per annum and the highest was 6 Lakh per annum. Students got internship in companies like Scale and Brain Mentors.

Good facilities but other things need some changes.

Placements: The highest package offered is around 12 Lacs and the lowest is approximately 2 lacs and average is 4 or 5 Lacs. Recruitment companies - Mostly IT or electronic based companies come in my college. Internship - Very few it depends on students who wants to join internship and they are few of them. Roles - As I experienced for today they just forced on course, no extra participation in technical work.

I am dissatisfied with some of the faculty members in our institution.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite well since 2019 batch. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, in MAE branch by Jara Education. Top recruiting companies are Infosys and TCS. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Approximately 160 students got recruited from the previous batch.
