Excellent placements and practical learning with good infrastructure.
Placements: I am part of the BCA batch at IEM Salt Lake, with my batch set to graduate in 2025. Approximately 70% of students in the BCA course were placed as of now. The highest package offered was around 8 LPA, the lowest was 2.5 LPA, and the average package stood at 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Tech Mahindra, along with emerging startups. About 50% of students secured internships during the course. IEM Salt Lake provides strong placement support and a good foundation for BCA students to step into the teaching industry.
Infrastructure: IEM Salt Lake offers Wi-Fi, computer labs, AC classrooms, and a well-stocked library. Hostels are clean with hygienic mess food. Medical aid is available on campus. Sports facilities include grounds for cricket, football, basketball, and indoor games.
Faculty: The teachers at IEM are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, ensuring quality teaching through practical and theoretical approaches. The BCA curriculum is relevant and industry-focused. Semester exams are moderately challenging, with a quite high pass percentage of over 85%.
Other: I chose BCA at IEM for its strong teaching foundation and good placement record. The best part is industry-relevant learning. Improvement is needed in modernizing some labs. The campus hosts vibrant festivals and active extracurriculars, with scholarships for meritorious students.

Absolutely satisfied because the college provides the best placements in 2024.
Placements: Currently I'm studying I would like to talk about my previous years college batch 2024, around 92% of the students were placed through on campus placement. The highest package offered in BCA was upto 6-7 LPA. And the lowest was 3.2 - 3 LPA. The top MNC companies like - TCS, Accenture, Deloitte, SAP labs, LTIMindtree, Wipro, Federal Bank, etc. And other startup companies also select candidates from BCA. Internship offered in BCA course is very rare and a few students gets selected in our batch about 3%. Only SAP labs offers internship. Top roles offered - Associate, Software Developed, etc.
Infrastructure: Our Ashram campus is not so huge in terms of infrastructure, Wi-Fi facility is not available for students, classrooms are good provided with digital board and ACs, library contains only course books. The food quality of mess is intermediate, sports are limited, hostel environment is clean.
Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and there are various industry visits and training which makes the students ready for the industry. Difficult level in semester exam is moderate since we are taught well during the classes.

Few very good faculty, facilities could be better, and needs better management.
Placements: There is an 80 to 90 percent placement rate. The top recruiting companies include Deloitte, SAP Labs, Accenture, etc. The average package is 3 LPA, and the roles are generally in the support line. Hardly anyone gets to have an SDE role, and the lowest package could be 1.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not the best, but it works. The labs are okayish, and there is no Wi-Fi. The library is something I never used. I personally was not in the hostel, but from a friend, I know he did not have a good experience with the hostels. We have a table tennis table, and yes, we have a vending machine that serves chips and cold drinks.
Faculty: Some teachers are really helpful, while some are not. Some take teaching as a profession, while some treat it as just a job. The technologies taught don't really align with current industry standards, but they can have a good impact on the basics. Overall, the review of the faculty is mixed.
Other: It's a course I had to pursue to transition to computer science from a commerce background.

After seeing the placement status, I am satisfied.
Placements: 80% of the students are placed. The lowest package is 2.8 LPA, and the highest package till now is 7-8 LPA. The top recruiters are Accenture, TCS, and Deloitte. SAP Labs came to the college for internships. The roles that are offered are System and Application Development Associate, Associate Trainee, Associate Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Labs are really good, and the practical classes are also taken very seriously and conducted by the faculty members. The hostel, canteen, medical room, and games room are there as well. The institute also conducts sports and games in a good manner, and students also enjoy it a lot.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, and anyone can try to reach them for any queries after class as well. The quality of teaching is also good. The syllabus is mostly covered for all the semesters. Semester exams are moderate. 60% of the students are 9-pointers. Every year, CoE also conducts a prize distribution ceremony for academic excellence as well.
Other: Scholarships are available. IEM is known for the placements and the rules and regulations. You may be bad at studies, but all the students must follow the rules of the college seriously. It is clarified from the 1st day of the college as well.

Full and Complete Review of Institute of Engineering and Management by Arya.
Placements: IM is a great college known for its placements and academic curriculum. Approximately 70 to 80% of students get placed every year with good placements. The highest ever offered by our college was 87 LPA and the lowest was approximately 3 LPA. The average package offered is between 5 to 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are ITC, Oracle, Amazon, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the Institute of Engineering and Management is very poor, as it is located in Sector 5, which is a corporate area, so free space for building a proper college campus is not available. We have 2 to 3 buildings for the courses and some attached small grounds for basketball, volleyball, and other small outdoor games that require less space. The hostel facilities are also not great, as it is not on the campus. It is in separate buildings a little farther away from the college, and the food in the hostel is not up to the mark.
Faculty: The faculty is great. The curriculum of the college is the best that we can find in West Bengal near Calcutta. Our college mainly focuses on academics, and extracurricular activities are very limited. In a semester, we have three examinations: midterm, midterm 2, and some other exams. Some exams are very lengthy, taking 40 to 45 minutes, including nearly 20 papers in total.

Engineering college honest review.
Placements: According to the data, it says 90%, but from what I saw, it's about 60% placements. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA. Average salary was 8 LPA. Top recruiters were TCS and Infosys. Placements are good compared to other colleges, but the strength and competition are increasing day by day.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi doesn't work, labs are there, and the classroom holds a capacity of 100 students. The smart boards are holder versions. The library is open 24/7. I don't live in a hostel, but as per my friends, the women's hostel is not good; the food quality is average. And the canteen is good. PE is done, but no proper space or playground.
Faculty: Exams are always going on. 2 midterms, 1 sessional, and 1 sem exam. Most of the time, faculty members are unable to finish their syllabus. The teaching is average, but exceptions are there. Semester exams are medium. If you study the notes provided, you'll be able to crack it.
Other: Fests are there but very few compared to other colleges. The campus is not so big, but it's okay. It almost feels like school. Proper 9-5 college time. No leaving college. Always have to wear a uniform, etc. College offers extracurricular activities, but all after college hours, so most of the students don't take part.
