A decent infrastructure and campus life, not a big college.
Placements: Currently, I am in the 1st year, but according to our seniors, the placements in this college are good. Around 85% of students get placed each year from this college. Since I am in the 1st year, I don't know the highest or the lowest package, but according to online sources and our seniors, the average package is around 48k. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, Google, Microsoft, and TCS.
Infrastructure: It has Wi-Fi, library, labs, and good classrooms. But they don't teach very well in the labs, and the library has many books related to academics and computers for students to study. However, the space is not very big. Only around 50 students can sit in the library. This college doesn't have hostels. It has a medical facility area, but it is always closed. We can play indoor games like kabaddi, volleyball, badminton, carrom, box cricket, table tennis, and chess.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable. Some teachers are very good at teaching, while some are only strict and don't teach very well. Here, they do not make students industry-ready; they teach the same syllabus—Physics, Chemistry, and Maths—which is not going to be used in the industry. Semester exams are not much difficult; they are easy to medium.
Other: I chose this course because this was the best branch I could have gotten at my WBJEE rank. The best thing about this course is that it has less competition in the college. If the college starts to teach computer-related subjects like languages, DSA, etc., then it will be very helpful.

In my college academics are very good and also placement is good.
Placements: 90% of students were placed in CSE with their specialization from Netaji Subhash Engineering College. The highest package from my college is approximately 15 Lacs per annum, the lowest package is approximately 3-4 Lacs per annum, and the average package is approximately 6-7 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Cognizant, HCL, IBM, etc. 30% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Faculty members of my college are very qualified and very helpful in CSE and all specializations, and IT. The infrastructure is also good in academics. Fast Wi-Fi and a big library are available in this college. Also, laboratories and classrooms are very good. Hostels are not available in my college.
Faculty: Faculty members of my college are very qualified and very helpful in CSE and all specializations, and also in IT. In my college, studies are very relevant to the industry. In my college, the difficulty of semester examinations is slightly high, and the passing percentage is 60-70%.
Other: In my course, many jobs are available like data analyst or AI engineer, etc.

Fine college in terms of value for money. Placements are somewhat low, around 3 LPA.
Placements: Of course, not all the students get placement, but you will get opportunities if your grades are fine. Almost no core jobs are available here. The highest package lies between 10-14 LPA in software-based MNCs, and the average is around 4.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, and Thoughtworks recruit here. The college does not provide any internships. Roles offered are System Engineer, Associate Software Developer, SDE 1, etc.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is fine; the labs are well-equipped but need some newer machines. However, the size is a bit small for the number of students. There is a canteen, but it is also a bit small. The canteen's price and quality are just fine. There are no hostel facilities at NSEC.
Faculty: The ratio of good teachers is 1:1; some have a lot of knowledge, while some struggle to express concepts. The overall quality of teaching is average. Semester exams could be difficult for students who haven't studied anything. If you have studied a little, you can pass the exams. If you want to score the highest, you need to study daily.
Other: If you are getting WBJEE rank around 15K to 20K, I think you should take admission here. Labs should focus more on practical work, but all other aspects are just fine. Annual fests, meetups, and sports events are conducted regularly.

College is very good. Good luck.
Placements: Actually, this year, above 75 percent of students got placed in TCS, where all departments of students were present. I hope that in the end, all of the students get placed, take jobs, and create a bright future. It's a proud moment for Netaji Subhash Engineering College.
Infrastructure: In my department, there are all the facilities available that a minimum student requires, like faculty members' rooms, labs, library, classrooms, central library, ground, and sports like carrom, badminton, chess, etc. Hostels are not there; only PGs and mess are available, which depend on your own cost.
Faculty: Teachers are mainly highly knowledgeable; they give all types of help that you need from a teacher. They also give suggestions to students, like preparing for this thing or that thing, and also take class tests to keep studies going, so it's a very good thing.
Other: Many cultural activities are done one by one, like Zest, Infinito, inter-college, etc.

College life is a career builder.
Placements: 50 percent of students were placed in my college. The highest package was 9 lakh by TCS, and the lowest package is 3.36 Lacs. TCS is the top recruiting company in our college. 10 percent of students get internships from Electrical. Many roles are offered by companies, like Systems Engineer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi and labs are good. Around 10k books are present in the library. In our college, hostel is not provided. The quality of food in the canteen is good. Sports are good. In our college, there is a badminton court and a playground.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. All teachers are friendly. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. Semester examinations are moderate, not easy, not so hard. Proper guidance from teachers helps to clear the exam.

If you don't have any option then come here.
Placements: The placement is below average. The top recruiters are TCS Wipro, Cognizant, etc. at 4 LPA or 5 LPA packages. The highest package claimed by college is 44 lac in Microsoft, while average claimed is around 5.5 lacs.
Infrastructure: There are many paying guest accommodations nearby that are reasonably priced and have good facilities. The college provides good facilities, including Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. Some classrooms have air conditioning, and some do not.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and dedicated. They are trying their best to teach the students. I think they all have PhDs from Jadavpur University. The curriculum is determined by Makaut University, and it is a bit outdated. Some changes should be made. The semester exams are easy and if we pay attention in class, we can pass them easily.
Other: I chose this course because I didn't have any other options. The best thing about it is that it's an engineering course. The college offers a variety of events, including cultural festivals like Prelude and coding events. However, the college is located 25 km from the Howrah railway station, and the surrounding area is not very good.
