Review of IHM Kurukshetra - Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition.

Placements: In our college, approximately 90% of students are placed. The average salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Oberoi Taj, etc., visit our campus. Almost all students get internships at the Oberoi and the Taj. MT programs are offered by companies like McDonald's.

Satisfied with the course and I'm an industry-ready candidate now.

Placements: Institute does offer placements but in recent times institute has preferred the retail sector more than the traditional hotel industry as per the course. Campus placement is about 80-90% and the top recruiter is Bikanerwala and the Leela ambiance, Every student has got an internship opportunity from the institution.

The college was an overall wonderful experience for me.

Placements: The number of students placed was around 70% and the highest package offered was around 3.5 Lacs. Top companies were hyatt. Students were also selected in some other brands as such in great brands but hence the expected jobs were promised and not alloted correctly.

I am satisfied with the academic and facilities provided by the college.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students from our course get an internship. Second and third-year students have the course curriculum of spending half one semester each in internships that are usually provided by the college. Top recruiting companies like Taj, JP Hotel, Park Inn Hotel, Radisson Blu, etc., visit our college for placements. Mostly roles like cleaning staff, chef staff, waiter job, manager, etc., are offered to the students. Placements depend upon your academic and extracurricular talent. Aroun...

Absolutely satisfied with infrastructure, academic and extra curricular activities.

Placements: 100% students placed in our college and salary package of maximum is only upto 5-6 LPA. Various hotels like Oberoi, J. W, Taj, Heart ets come for placement every year. Various roles offered in our campus like hotel manager, hotel accountant, chef etc. Although 100% internship also takes place since every second and third year are gone for internships which are placed by campus themselves. They even offer help for those students who are not placed by any chance.

Really good infrastructure, but no college or campus life.

Placements: The placement is neither good nor bad. For big hotels, i.e. Oberoi, J.W, etc., you have to attend campus placement schedule at Chandigarh University or MDU, Rohtak. Approximately each and every student will get placed either in hotel or retail or other sectors.

The best hotel management college.

Placements: The maximum number of students get placed. No worries about the placement and industrial training, everything will go smooth. More than 80 companies including hotels and restaurants come for the placements and provide good salaries. Staff also help the students who have not placed anywhere.

Not happy with the initiative taken for placements

Placements: The placement was not up to the mark as there was no initiative taken by the placement faculty members. Maximum students are not satisfied. I would say maybe 90 students out of 100 are not happy with the placements. The college should work on this as it somehow affected the career of the student.

It's a nice hotel management college to follow passion for being a chef, bartender and housekeeper.

Placements: For placements, small food chains like Pizza Hut, Domino's, Radisson Blue and also reputed companies like Taj Hotels, Le Meridien, etc., visit our college. Students have a choice to visit nearby colleges like IHM Chandigarh or Mohali, and sometimes Shimla for placements. Students got an average salary of Rs. 12,000 to 15,000 per month. Almost 90% of the students got jobs through on-campus placements. About 95% of the students get internships with the average stipend of Rs. 3,000 to 5,000 per mon...
