IIIT Manipur PhD Eligibility & Highlights 2024
IIIT Manipur offers PhD in multiple disciplines including Engineering, Mathematics, Humanities and Basic Sciences. Students can choose to pursue PhD programmes full-time or part-time. The duration of the programme varies across the chosen mode and specialisation. However, the maximum duration for a PhD at IIIT Manipur is six years. IIIT Manipur PhD courses include PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), PhD in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), PhD in Humanities and Basic Science, etc.

IIIT Manipur PhD Fees 2024
IIIT Manipur fees include multiple components, such as tuition fees, security deposits, hostel fees, mess fees, and more. Some of these components, such as the security fee are one-time chargeable. IIIT Manipur PhD Admission 2024: How to Apply?
IIIT Manipur admissions are entrance-based. PhD admission at IIIT Manipur is subject to the fulfilment of prescribed eligibility criteria and performance in GATE/NET/SLET, depending upon the chosen specialisation. Interested candidates must send their applications via e-mail to the designated email address. They must also send a signed hard copy to the institute via speed post. The application form is available on the official website of IIIT Manipur. Applicants must also send in the required documents along with the applications. A list of documents to be sent by the applicants is as follows:
- Copies of the Certificate and Mark sheet of Class 10
- Copies of the Certificate and Mark sheet of Class 12
- Copies of Bachelor’s Degree Certificate and Mark sheets
- Copies of Master’s Degree Certificate and Mark sheets
- Copy of GATE/NET/SLET scorecard
- A one-page abstract of the research project completed during the PG programme, or the UG programme if the individual is applying directly after the UG degree
- Proof of research publications
- Copy of the reserved category certificate on the prescribed proforma and signed by the competent authority (if applicable)
- NO OBJECTION certificate from the present employer (if employed)
- Any other relevant document(s)
