The GATE 2025 exam is ongoing for admission to the PhD course. The next exam dates for GATE 2025 are Feb 15 and Feb 16, 2025. Further, the GATE 2025 results are scheduled to be declared on Mar 19, 2025.

A few more updates are given below:

JEE Main 2025 Session 1 answer key has been released for admission to BE/BTech/BArch/BPlan courses, and the result is to be declared by Feb 12, 2025. For session 2, the registrations are open till Feb 25, 2025, and the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam is scheduled to be held between Apr 1 and Apr 8, 2025.

A bad and poor infrastructure. Bad placements. A better faculty team.

Placements: Placements are not good. Poor and low placements. Only a few companies that provide low annual packages come to the college for hiring. Last year, 87.9% of students were placed in my course, and that too through off-campus hiring. The highest average package offered was 40 Lacs, and the minimum average package offered was 7 Lacs. The top recruiting companies for this course are Amazon and Deloitte. 0% of students got internships. The top role offered was Software Development Engineer.

Infrastructure: Poor infrastructure. It covers only 13 acres. Very small campus, and very cheap buildings are built there. No Wi-Fi is provided on the campus. In computer labs, you can get internet through LAN cables. Only some classrooms have air conditioning (AC). Labs are well-equipped with ACs. Very small library. No Wi-Fi in the library. The quality of the food is rather good here. Mess food and canteen food both are quite appreciable. No medical facilities are provided by our college. Very few sports and game opportunities.

Faculty: Faculty are well-qualified. They teach very responsibly. Teaching was helpful. Teachers are knowledgeable. Teaching quality is overall good to better. Yes, the course curriculum is ready. It makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are very hard in this college. The passing percentage fluctuates between 80-90%.

Other: I chose this course due to the high demand for the CSE branch in the future. The best thing about my course is that it provides wide career opportunities. Practical sessions can be better, I think. Very few events. Only one fest. Very little campus crowd. Well-connected by road. The campus is surrounded from the back side by mountains. Good scholarship opportunities. Very few extracurricular activities.

Good faculty, but dissatisfies with the placements and it is not a big college.

Placements: The institute has disclosed the 2024 placement data till May 27, 2024. So far, the overall placement rate stood at 76.20%. For the CSE and ECE branches, the placement percentage stood at 84% and 64.71%, respectively. The highest package offered was INR 40 LPA and was grabbed by CSE students. Out of 42 participating students, 32 were successfully placed during IIIT Manipur placement 2024.

Infrastructure: Wifi is quite good but there is no Lan connection for every student in the hostel. Labs are very good with good internet. Classrooms are having a digital board. The library is very peaceful. No canteen in hostel. Mess is not bad as well as not good. No medical facilities; they don't even care about you while students face any health issues. Sports and games are not bad.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and highly experienced the teaching quality was good. All facilities are highly qualified and experienced and they will say the new technology's and guide in a good manner. It's somewhat moderate and some are quite difficult.

All about IIIT Manipur City Campus.

Placements: Around 80 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest package was 40 lakh this year, and previously it was 45 lakh. The average package is 11 lakhs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Nvidia, Deloitte, Amazon, TCS, Jio, and many more. For internships, you have to do everything on your own; they can just inform you.

Infrastructure: WiFi speed is around 100 Mbps, and the labs are also good (they are stabilized by IIT Bombay). In the library, you can find all the basic need books, and you can issue up to 5 books at a time. The books are issued for a maximum of 1 month; if you do not submit them on time, a fine can be imposed. The canteen is just normal, and for sports, you have to bring your own equipment.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified, but some are new with little experience. The curriculum is quite tough; you have to score at least 4 CGPA to pass each semester. Every month there are assessments, and then the answer sheets are shown to you.

Placements: 73% placement is done till date for batch 2024 of Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The highest package is 40 LPA, and top recruiters include Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant. Top roles offered are Software Developer/Engineer, Data Scientist, and Development (Games, Apps, Web).

Infrastructure: The institute is equipped with modern classrooms that feature smart boards, projectors, and comfortable chairs. The labs have the necessary tools, and guided staff are available to explain the experiments and the equipment to be used. The mess serves a variety of meals, and the quality of the food is very good.

Faculty: IIIT Manipur has a well-qualified faculty, many with PhDs from reputed institutions. The teaching quality is high, with a mix of theoretical and practical approaches. Semester exams are challenging, testing not only theoretical understanding but also practical application of concepts.

Other: I chose to study Computer Science because I have always had an interest in this field. Computer Science offers a wide range of career opportunities, including software development, data science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and more.

IIITM: Highly Engaging Faculty, Exceptional Facilities, and Strong career Opportunities.

Placements: In 2022, there was 100% placement, with the highest package being 45.64 LPA on Amazon and the average being 9.90 LPA. In 2023, 81.5% got placed with the highest package of 12.5 LPA and the average of 8.7 LPA. The top recruitment companies are Amazon, Cognizant, Infosys, Deloitte, etc.

Infrastructure: This is not the permanent campus; it is on 13 acres, which is near the High Court in Imphal. Labs are extremely good; there are all kinds of labs, like computer labs, VLSI signal and system labs, etc. You can compare the quality in a computer lab. You will get computers with 32GB of RAM and Intel i7 processors. The library and mess are average. The hostel and canteens are good; we are getting 27x7 electricity and there is Wi-Fi with normal speed. Currently, the construction of a permanent campus is going on in Senapati, with a total area of 150 acres, which might be completed by May 2024.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, and they are very helpful, and the course curriculum is quite relevant to making the students industry-ready. There are three assessment exams and one end-of-semester exam that take place per semester. This helps them score good marks and almost 90% of students pass per semester.

Other: Well, I have chosen this IIIT because of it's excellent placements in 2022, although if this were the placement of this college without it's permanent campus, then after permanent campus it will be listed in the top IIITs.

IIIT MANIPUR a decent choice.

Placements: The placement records are pretty good and decent the highest salary offered was 45 lakhs per annum and the average salary is approximately 9.9 lakhs per annum. Top companies are wipro tcs etc. the percentage of placement is 100% . The highest salary that was offered is in ece branch.

Infrastructure: Internet facility is pretty good and decent and college has every single equipment especially for ece students and course and for vlsi branch too . Sports facilities are pretty good and decent as almost every games goodies available on the college .

Faculty: The faculties are very good and talented and almost all faculties are PhD scholars and many of them are more than one degree holder and are very helpful and skilled and talented . They are very kind and helpful . Almost all faculties are phd scholar
