GATE CCMT counselling 2024 National Spot Round seat allotment result has been released for MTech course. The deadline for document uploading (online) is Aug 8, 2024 (5:30 PM) and the last date for physical reporting at the finally allotted institute is Aug 12, 2024.
IIIT Pune offers MTech CSE and MTech ECE programmes. These two-year programmes are structured with a credit component wherein the first year includes academic work and the second year includes thesis and project work. The MTech programmes offered by IIIT Pune are interdisciplinary in nature that accepts students from different backgrounds.
IIIT Pune MTech admission is done basis of a valid GATE score followed by CCMT Counselling. Candidates who don’t have a valid GATE score need to appear for the internal written test that is conducted by the institute.

MTech at IIIT Pune is a two-year PG-level programme. The institute offers around two specialisations for the MTech programme, which include engineering disciplines, which are Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering.
The institute admits students to the MTech programme based on GATE, followed by CCMT counselling. Moreover, IIIT Pune MTech admission is only possible when candidates meet the eligibility criteria.
- Eligibility: BTech degree in relevant discipline with 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% aggregate for Gen/Gen-EWS/OBC, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
- Selection: A valid score from the GATE+ CCMT Counselling
