Placements for the mechanical course are poor.

Placements: For production design engineer, the average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Companies like Adobe Reader, Zentrum Labs and L&T are the best in offering a huge number of jobs. Nearly 75% of the students got placed, and there are nearly 20% of the students under our course. Roles offered are project lead, design operator, supervising, automation, coding in microprocessors and microsystems.

I'm highly satisfied with faculty, placements, infrastructure, sports complex, good hostel and mess.

Placements: Above 50% of the students from our course got placed. The lowest salary package offered here is 4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 51 LPA. Internships are offered in Bosch Bangalore, Google India and Microsoft. Roles are offered based on both design and science in our college.

One of the best IIITs of India.

Placements: Although being a new college just completing 10 years anniversary, it has shown far better results than expected. All streams of under graduation have a decent placement status with CS having the best. The major roles offered are mostly for technical post with a few other domain specific roles. The Mechanical Stream currently has around 80-90% placement record which has been increasing gradually over the years for all the streams and is likely to achieve 100 percent in the coming few years becau...

Placements: The placements offered were good when compared to many colleges, and many companies are visiting our college. We get the highest package of 10 LPA and the average package of 4 LPA. Best placement overall. We get the best companies like Ashok Leyland, TCS, etc. Every student wants to do five months internship as a compulsory course. The stipend depends on the project they are doing.

I am very much satisfied with the infrastructure, management, and the curriculum.

Placements: At present, the placements in our college for ECE-DM students are not good. There are hardly any core companies that come by for recruitment of ECE-DM students. The students intend to pursue their higher studies, and hence thereby few students only appear for the campus placement interviews and also due to the low strength of the batch. The less percentage of campus placements is due to the hybrid curriculum that we follow at IIITDM Kanchipuram (a mix of basic engineering and design courses). Bu...

A place of innovative learning

Placements: Placements in our college will be on a medium scale. The highest salary offered is Rs.10,00,000 per anum and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 5,00,000 per annum. Students are skilled in design courses so that we can have a learning by doing experience in college curriculum itself. Almost 80% of our seniors were placed in campus interviews.

It is a new Institute of very high-quality standards in every aspect. Admissions are only through national competitive examinations like AIEEE, JEE Mains, and GATE. The institute has also got an INI (Institute of National Importance) status which is given to only those institutes like IITs, a handful of top NITs and very few private institutes. The course curriculum is structured in such a way that it imparts very good knowledge and practical skills to the student. The faculty members are all ...

The college has a good infrastructure. There are low placements and high sports facilities.

Placements: Since the smart manufacturing branch is introduced in 2016 for the first time, the placement history is not available. However, it is expected that few companies like Ashok Leyland may be interested in placing such engineers. At the college level, the highest salary package offered was 12.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3-3.5 LPA.
