As per the admission process for MBA at IIM Kozhikode, candidates are selected based on CAT scores. In order to apply for this course, candidate must pass graduation as per the basic educational qualification and qualify for CAT entrance exam. The IIM Kozhikode MBA admission process consists of the following steps:

• Registration: Aspirants have to register online on the official website of IIM Kozhikode with graduation score and CAT percentile last qualifying exam

• Shortlisting of candidates through AIS: Candidates who successfully submit the registration form and fulfil the basic eligibility will be shortlisted for WAT & PI rounds. The list of shortlisted candidates in each category will
  be prepared based on an Aggregate Index Score (AIS). It includes performance of candidates in CAT 2023, Class 10 & 12 Gender/ Academic diversity criterion, and work experience. The weightage of each component in the AIS is as follows:

• Final shortlisting via WAT & PI: The shortlisted candidates will be called for a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The weightage of each component for all the selection round is as follows:

For admission to MBA (or PGP) 2024 batch at IIM Kozhikode, the CAT test will be conducted on November 26, 2023. Aspirants of IIM Kozhikode are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam 2023 will be held in three slots:

Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM

Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Earlier, the CAT exam used to be of 180 minutes with 100 questions but in 2020, both exam duration and number of questions were reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, starting CAT 2022, the total number of questions stands at 66 as part of CAT pattern.

Yes, CAT 2023 dates for admission to IIM Kozhikode are out. To apply for the CAT exam, candidates are required to create an account, fill the CAT registration form and pay the exam application fee. The 2023 CAT form have to be submitted by a certain deadline after which no application will be accepted. For 2023 CAT exam, CAT registration will go on between Aug 2 and Sep 20. The exam will be conducted on November 26, 2023. Students are required to appear for the CAT 2023 exam in Computer Based Testing mode at allotted test centres. Further, candidates who do not have any UG degree must pass CA/ICWA/CS with minimum 50% aggregate in order to apply for the programme. Apart from this, students are granted admission based on EMAT score, followed by a personal interview.

For admission to E-MBA course at IIM Kozhikode, candidate must fulfil the minimum educational requirements. To be eligible for this course, aspirants must hold a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate. Further, candidates who do not have any UG degree must pass CA/ICWA/CS with minimum 50% aggregate in order to apply for the programme. Apart from this, students are granted admission based on EMAT score, followed by a personal interview.

For admission to a two-year MBA/ PGP course at IIM Kozhikode, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Candidates who passed graduation with minimum 60% aggregate from a recognised university are eligible to apply for MBA course. However, there is a five percent relaxation for reserved category candidates and they must obtain a minimum of 55% aggregate in their final graduation. Further, candidates who do not hold any graduation degree must score minimum 50% aggregate in obtain CA/ICWA/CS to qualify for the eligibility.
