IIM Raipur Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Placements are decent enough. Not as compared to old IIMs but definitely at par or better than new IIMs. Most companies offer marketing roles. The average salary is usually around 12-14 lakhs per annum and the stipend is around Rs. 50,000. All the students were placed from the placement cell for an internship.

Placements: For my senior batch (2015-17) - The batch had decent placements. The complete batch was placed. Companies from all the major domain - marketing, finance, operations, human resources have recruited; marketing being the largest domain. The placement season started by the end of September and ended by mid-January when the complete batch had been placed.

Placements: The placements for the senior batch were pretty good as more than 80% of the batch got placed in the companies including MNCs. The highest package offered was 24 LPA and lowest package offered was 6 LPA. The roles varied from Marketing, Finance, Operations, HR and Analytics. For the Summer internship placements, the college could place 100% of the students. The highest stipend offered was 2 Lacs and the lowest stipend was Rs. 40,000.

Placements: The placement opportunities in IIM Raipur is one of the best in the New IIM's. The median package was 13.2 LPA for the senior batch where sales and marketing related roles were taken up by almost 50% of the batch students. Consulting roles and finance roles were also the roles taken up by a good number of students, and it was a good season overall.

Placements: The college has a consistent 100% placement record. The placement committee of the college takes care of the final placements of the students. The packages range between 8-25 Lacs PA with an average CTC of around 13 Lacs. A number of top firms including Deloitte, ICICI, KPMG, Emami, etc. visit the campus. Placements: The placements offered in the college are great. TAFE, Group M, Virtusa Polaris, Wipro, and ICICI bank were among the many companies who visited the campus. For final placements, the average CTC was Rs. 13.1 LPA while, the highest being Rs. 27.2 LPA. The students were offered a variety of roles across the domains.

Placements: The companies visiting the campus are Accenture, Adaequare, Cognizant, Google, iNautix, Infiniti Research, Infosys BPO, MAQ Software, Thrymr Software, Virtusa, Carborundum Universal, ICICI Bank, Muthoot Group, RBL Bank, Thrymr Software, Google, MAQ, L&T, VMWare.

Placements: All the eligible candidates were placed in the placements. We witnessed a very large variety of companies that visited our campus, including many first time recruiters. There is a little difference in the median and the average salary which indicates, that many students got a good package. Summer internship, being a 3 credit course is really important for us, and we achieved a great success by including a lot of big brands in our portfolio, this year.

Placements: IIM Raipur has been the first among all the new IIMs to put the entire bunch, both internships and final placement. Placements: Placements for our batch were excellent as we got great support from the industry in spite of being the second batch of IIM Raipur. 100% placements were achieved with the highest salary being 19 lakhs, lowest being 6.5 lakhs and the average being 11.66 lakhs. Placements: The placements were good. A large number of the company came to campus to offer the jobs. A top international salary of 30 lakhs per annum and a highest domestic package of 21.5 lakhs per annum. The average salary offered was 12.51 lakhs per annum, 12.3% increase over last year. Placements: Placements are mostly good considering the fact that it is a new IIM and situated in a non-metro city. The average package hovers somewhere around 12 LPA. There are a lot of renowned companies participating in final placements like Deloitte, HDFC, ICICI, Wipro, Emami, HPCL, BPCL, Vedanta etc. The highest package offered is around 27+ LPA in general.

Placements: FP and SIP processes are still going on. But for the previous batch i.e. 2014-16 batch the highest package was 21LPA. For internships, we can either opt for campus placements or our own resources. The final placement and summer internship process this year is taking longer because of demonetization.

Placements: The placement is excellent compared to peer new IIMs. Companies like Deloitte, Hero, BPCL, Tata Steel, Jio, ICICI, Backspace Consulting and Blue Star recruited last year and the average CTC was around 13 LPA. The institute is situated on the outskirts of the capital city of Raipur, IIM seems to offer two exciting years to its students. Indian Institute of Management, Raipur is one among the new IIMs that opened in 2010, is located at the outskirts of Raipur. Classes are interactive in nature and are a healthy mix of formal lectures, case studies and presentations. An equal weightage of 50% is given to both internal and external exams.
