I am satisfied with IIM Sambalpur till now. It is a good college.

Placements: I am a first-year student (currently in 2nd semester), the strength of our batch is 320 but now it's 315. We have 76% girls in our batch which is divided into 4 sections. Our batch is currently going through the summer placement process and our senior batch is as well (for finals). For the previous batch, the highest salary package offered was around 23 LPA. Average salary package offered was around 13 LPA. Recruiting companies are ICICI Bank, Micron Technology, and Gartner for summer placements...

It is a good college to start your career with as the name of the college matters a lot.

Placements: For the batch of 2020-22, we secured 100% summer placements, and for the batch of 2019-21, we secured 100% final placements. In the current year, multiple brands participated in the placement process despite the process conducted during the pandemic.

IIM Sambalpur- An honest review.

Placements: IIM Sambalpur offers 100% placement every year. In 2017 average salary offered was 10 lacs whereas the highest package offered was 60 lacs. Summer placement went smoothly as well with average salary of 50000. Top recruiters included Deloitte, HDFC, SBI Life ans many others.

Placements and infrastructure of the college are good. It is an ideal place to pursue HRM course.

Placements: IIM Sambalpur offered 100% placements during the final placements for 2017 batch. Almost 3 out of 45 students were not eligible for placements, and the rest of the 42 students who appeared for placements were placed with an average salary package of 10.55 LPA. Placements: Final placements and summer internships of 2017 batch and 2018 batch were almost 80%. The college achieved 100% placements in the previous years. The average salary package offered in 2017 was 10.55 LPA, and the highest package amounted to 60 LPA. Good campus environment which drives the study environment as a whole. Good teaching faculty.

Placements: IIM Sambalpur has achieved 100 percent final placement in the year 2017 and till date more than 80 % students have been placed in the 2019 outgoing batch. Great institution, greater crowd

Placements: Decent placements, considering the fact that it is one of the newest among all the IIMs. 100% of the batch got placed with an average package close to 10 LPA. Companies in all domains namely finance, consulting, FMCG, etc. visited the campus. 100% of the students got placed for internships.

Dissatisfied with food and placement but happy with curriculum and faculty

Placements: Since we were the first batch, hence, various issues were faced while pitching for placement to the corporates, as we had no identity in the market. But still, after consistent effort, we got opportunities in a few good companies. The mentor college did not help much in this area, which hit us badly.
