For IIM Udaipur PGP admission 2023, the overall qualifying cutoff for General category students is 92 percentile. The cutoff varies with different categories. IIM Udaipur has a limited seat intake for their flagship courses. For the Master of Business Administration (MBA) the total seat available is 335 and for MBA in Digital Enterprise Management its 37. 

The selection process for IIM Udaipur starts with qualifying CAT examination, followed by shortlisting of candidates for Personal Interview. Just like all IIM’s, Common Admission Process (CAP) is the process through which PI are done. And finally a Merit List is prepared based on the CAT score, PI score and Profile score. The criteria for preparing the merit list will be as follows: CAT Score*: 60%, Interview (PI): 15% and Profile: 25%. Other than CAT exam, admission to certain courses is aslo done on the basis of IIMU Test and there is some executive courses where option for direct admission is available

For admission to MBA (or PGP) 2024 batch at IIM Udaipur, the CAT test will be conducted on November 26, 2023. Aspirants of IIM Udaipur are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam 2023 will be held in three slots:

Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM

Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Earlier, the CAT exam used to be of 180 minutes with 100 questions but in 2020, both exam duration and number of questions were reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, starting CAT 2022, the total number of questions stands at 66 as part of CAT pattern.
