IIM Udaipur Opens Applications for its One-Year Full-Time MBAs in Global Supply Chain Management and Digital Enterprise Management
August 10, 2023: Admissions have started for the distinctive one-year full-time MBA programmes in Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) and Digital Enterprise Management (DEM) offered by the Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur (IIMU). Professionals having at least three years of experience in any field are eligible for the programmes. A strong foundation in management fundamentals and a deep focus in global supply chain management & logistics are provided by the GSCM programme. The DEM Program's main objective is to manage digital systems, use them to make decisions regarding the digital transformation of enterprises and manage intricate and varied projects in digital settings.
Admission to these purely residential programmes will be based on GMAT/GRE/CAT exams. It requires candidates to hold a graduate degree from a recognised university and three-plus years of work experience in any field. The program starts in April every year and ends in March of the following year. The previous batches have experienced a great response from the industry, with leading companies from consulting and other domains recruiting students. The last batches of the program saw 100% placements. Eligibility Criteria: Graduate with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university, Valid GMAT/GRE scores or CAT scores of tests from 2020 or later and candidates should have a minimum full-time work experience of 36 months as of February 29, 2024 Applicants are shortlisted on the basis of the eligibility criteria and called for the second round, where they are screened through a personal interview. An offer of admission is made on the basis of the candidate's overall academic profile, work experience, score in GMAT/GRE/CAT and performance in the personal interview.
May 31, 2023: The third batch of the Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration for Working Executives (PGDBAWE) programme was officially launched for the academic year 2023–25 at the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur. For working executives with at least three years of full-time post-qualification job experience, it is a twenty-four-month programme. By providing professionals with a strong foundation and in-depth understanding of business management, the programme offers classes on the weekends in a hybrid structure that blends online and on-campus modules taught by top-notch faculty members.
The curriculum places a lot of focus on elective course alternatives as well as management fundamentals. A case-based learning method is used in classroom sessions to bring real-world issues into the learning environment and to motivate students to actively engage in the process. The case approach is supplemented with seminars, simulations, games, role-plays, guest lecturers, and group activities. While refining their interpersonal and communication skills, participants are forced to adapt, negotiate, and solve difficulties. Prof. Ashok Banerjee, Director of IIM Udaipur, Prof. N. Viswanathan, Chairperson of the Executive Education Committee, and Prof. Amish Durgar, Chairperson of the PGDBAWE Programme, presided over the opening event. The celebration honoured Dinesh Gulati, COO of Indiamart Intermesh Ltd., as the chief guest for the inauguration.
The course is a one-on-one coaching program that aims to help participants identify their own unique identities, purpose, vision, and objectives. The total fee for this course is INR 10 lakhs, payable in four instalments before the start of each academic semester. Upon successfully meeting all requirements of the program, including those concerning the examinations, participants will be awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration for Working Executives by IIM Udaipur.
July 4, 2022: The 2022–24 cohort of the Indian Institute of Management's two-year MBA programme, which has 345 students and is the largest, held its official opening ceremony in Udaipur. IIM Udaipur Director Prof. Janat Shah served as the event's host. The chief guest was Gulbahar Taurani, MD & CEO of Philips Appliances Indian Subcontinent. Taurani is a renowned industry veteran who has served in a variety of leadership capacities during his illustrious career, including Business Head, Marketing Director, and Vice President. He shared his own experience with pupils and is a big proponent of putting the needs of others first.
The MD and CEO of Philips Appliances Indian Subcontinent, Gulbahar Taurani, has said: "Life is a motion of giving and taking. Select wisely. Instead of internalising our failings, which can aid in our evolution toward the person we want to be, we frequently make the error of externalising them. The IIM tag shouldn't be taken for granted. Make the most of this fresh beginning and chapter in your life. Utilize this time to learn. The theory is crucial for a fundamental foundation. Additionally, the MBA Program first-year students of 2021–2023 received academic prizes for their respective terms' top performers during the ceremony.

IIM Udaipur Awards MBA Degree To 392 Students At Its 10th Annual Convocation
April 28, 2022: On Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at its pristine 300-acre campus in Balicha, Udaipur, IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur's held its 10th Annual Convocation for its flagship Two-Year MBA (Batch of 2020-22), One-Year full-time MBAs in Global Supply Chain Management and Digital Enterprise Management (Batch of 2021-22), and PhD programmes, celebrating a decade of excellence. The Convocation was presided over by Pankaj Patel, Chairman of the IIM Udaipur Board of Governors. Sanjiv Puri, Chairman & Managing Director of ITC Ltd, who was also the Convocation's Chief Guest, gave the Convocation Address, while Prof Janat Shah, Director, IIM Udaipur, gave the closing address. The convocation was attended by IIM Udaipur academics and staff, as well as parents and relatives of the graduating classes.
A total of 392 students graduated from the 10th Annual Convocation, including one PhD student, 317 Two-Year MBA (Batch 2020-22) students, and 37 One-Year MBA GSCM and One-Year MBA DEM students (Batches 2021-22).
IIM Udaipur had previously hosted a special convention on April 22nd and 23rd, inviting alumni from the 2020 and 2021 Two-MBA, One-Year MBA GSCM, and One-Year MBA DEM Batches for an in-person replica ceremony of the 8th and 9th Convocations, which had been held online last year in the wake of the covid pandemic. Mythily Ramesh and Satyanarayan B. Dangayach, respectively, the Chairpersons of the Events from the Board of Governors of IIM Udaipur, launched the convention on both days. The chairwoman also gave the welcoming remarks and presented the graduates with keepsakes.

IIM Udaipur Inaugurates 2022-23 Batches Of Full Time MBA In Digital Enterprise Management And In Global Supply Chain Management
April 7, 2022: The tenth batch of the IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur's One Year MBA - Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) programme and the third batch of the One Year MBA - Digital Enterprise Management (DEM) programme for the academic year 2022-23 were inaugurated.
Prof. Janat Shah, Director of IIM Udaipur, and Prof. Rajesh Agrawal, Chairperson of the One-Year MBA Program Committee, presided over the ceremony. Kamesh Mullapudi, Managing Director, Deloitte Consulting (US-India), and CP Gurnani, CEO & Managing Director, Tech Mahindra were honoured as the ceremony's chief guests.
CP Gurnani, CEO & Managing Director, Tech Mahindra, said at the DEM Program Inaugural Ceremony, "The agility demonstrated by responding to the needs of global supply chain management and digital transformations, the way the institute has integrated industry practitioners into academic learning is phenomenal. IIM Udaipur is India's only management college that offers a full-time MBA in DEM. It is also the only IIM that offers a full-time one-year MBA programme in GSCM. IIM Udaipur Launches The Second Edition Of Business Review Magazine – India’s Only IIM-Driven Management Magazine
March 25, 2022: The second issue of the bi-annual IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur Business Review Magazine was released today by the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur. The publication strives to make high-quality, impact-oriented research available to practitioners and to deliver relevant insights from experts to management professionals.
The second issue includes articles on Supply Chain Management (SCM) and expert perspectives on the necessity of efficient supply chain management, how SCM will impact organisations and our lives in the future, and the revolutions taking place in SCM, especially through new technology.
Rajneesh Bansal, Vice President & Head Supply Chain Management, Adani Wilmar Limited, addressed the audience at the launch of the review magazine issue 2 and made a presentation on the operation of Adani Wilmar's supply chain management. IIM Udaipur To Hold A Unique Webinar On Digital Healthscape

IIM Udaipur Completes Summer Placements; Average Stipend Increases by 65.72%
February 24, 2022: The Summer Placement procedure at IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur is now complete for the Batch of 2021-23. With the most varied cohort in the Institute's history, 300 qualified candidates applied for positions.
The Institute's 11th batch got offers from over 80 companies, with more than 50 recruiters cooperating with the Institute for the first time. Airtel, Amadeus, Amazon, Amway, Bain and Co., Byju's, Crompton Greaves, Emami Agrotech, GamesKraft, IDFC First Bank, Info Edge, Mahindra Holidays, Malabar Group, McCain, McKinsey, MTR Foods, NatWest, Salesforce, Schindler, Sodexo, Tech Mahindra, Transworld Group, VIP Industries, and VMWare are among the notable companies that have joined the list of first time recruiters.
Only four IIMs belong to IPRS, and IIM Udaipur will post an externally audited placement report on its website. Meanwhile, it announced top-line results and continued on its upward trajectory, with the batch stipend surpassing INR 3,000,000 in the FMCG and Consulting sectors. The top 10% earned an average stipend of INR 262,000, the top 20% received an average of INR 222,500, and the top 50% received an average of INR 162,000 in stipends.
The number of offers made in the Consulting sector saw a remarkable upswing, increasing by 60% compared to last year. Additionally, IIM Udaipur students bagged international internships this year. Several past recruiters including Accenture Strategy, Accenture Technology, Aditya Birla Capital, Amul, Asian Paints, Bajaj Auto, BNY Mellon, BPCL, Capgemini, Casio, Cisco, Cognizant, Cummins, Droom, Gartner, General Electric, Goldman Sachs, ICICI Bank, ICICI Lombard, KPMG, Lubrizol, OfBusiness, Pidilite, Puma, Reserve Bank of India, Secure Meters, Sesa Care, TAFE, Titan, Wonder Cement and Yes Bank also returned to the campus.
The Institute is the FT Global MIM Rankings 2021's youngest business school in Asia. Along with IIMs Ahmedabad, Calcutta, and Bangalore, it is only the fourth IIM to be included in this top ranking for the third year. One-Year Full-Time MBA Programme In Global Supply Chain Management Of IIM Udaipur Records 100% Placements
February 11, 2022: For the eighth year in a row, IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur completed its Campus Recruitment Programme 2021-2022 for its One-Year Full-Time MBA in Global Supply Chain Management class with a 100% placement record. The programme began in 2013 and is India's only full-time one-year MBA in supply chain management offered by an IIM. It's a one-of-a-kind offering in today's globalised corporate world.
A total of 150 job openings were made available to students, and 56 companies took part in the placement season. Topline findings were released today by the Institute. IIM Udaipur is only the fourth IIM to join IPRS, and after the audit is completed, it will share externally audited placement reports.
The renowned business school revealed that this year's batch will be much larger than previous year's. There are 28 students with 3-5 years of job experience and 9 students with over five years of work experience in this class. The cohort has an average of 58 months of work experience. The training requires a minimum of three years of work experience.
The students landed some of the most sought-after positions in fields such as digital supply chain, logistics, technology strategy, analytics, network design, product management, and business analysis.

IIM Udaipur Launches India’s First Student-Driven Impact Investment Fund
February 3, 2022: The IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur has developed an Impact Investment Fund (IIF) run by students, with the goal of investing in early-stage ventures or start-ups that have a positive social and environmental impact. The Impact Investment Fund (IIF) programme aims to help entrepreneurs who have the capacity to use their knowledge and skills to make a long-term difference in society and the environment. Zero Hunger, Good Health & Well-Being, Quality Education, Clean Water & Sanitation, and Affordable & Clean Energy are five of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals that will be supported by ventures.
IIF will play a critical role in bridging the gap between potential investors in social entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs by scouting the Indian market and gaining a better grasp of the Indian market,
investors' and entrepreneurs' objectives, aligning the fund's goal of making an impact, and awarding the fund to the entrepreneur together with expertise and operational support. IIF considers the project's industry, the product or service's benefit, and the impact it will have on society and the environment.
The Fund will be an 'Evergreen Fund,' functioning as a Section 8 Company within IIMU IC and allowing for co-investment. In five years, the fund is expected to be worth $7 million. At any given moment, approximately 12-17 firms will be invested in. Individual investments are limited to 15% of the fund's value, or Rs 40 lakhs.
The impact investment fund, according to the B-school, is intended to have a positive impact on society and the environment. As India's first student-led impact investment fund, it aims to instill a culture of impact investing in the country by raising awareness and providing inspiration to other institutions.
All Fund operations, investments, and exits will be controlled by the Students in collaboration with a Board of Directors and Advisory Committees. There are 18 students on the Founding Student Team.
IIM Udaipur Records 100% Placements For Its One-Year Full-Time MBA Programme In Digital Enterprise Management Batch 2021-22
January 26, 2022: For the second year in a row, IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur completed its Campus Recruitment Programme 2021-2022 for its One-Year Full-Time MBA in Digital Enterprise Management batch with a 100% placement record. The programme began in 2020 and is India's only one-year full-time MBA in the digital domain, making it a one-of-a-kind offering in the emerging digital business environment. A total of 128 positions were offered to students, and 47 companies took part in the placement season. Topline findings were presented by the Institute. IIM Udaipur is only the 4th IIM to join IPRS, and after the audit is completed, it will share an externally audited placement report.
The size of this year's batch has been greatly boosted over last year's debut batch, according to the renowned B-school. There are 26 students with 3-5 years of job experience and 11 students with over 5 years of work experience in this class. The cohort has an average of 55 months of work experience. The training requires a minimum of three years of work experience.
Digital Strategy, Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Digital Experience, and Cloud were among the most sought-after positions among the students.
Accenture Technology, Cognizant, EXL, Innover Digital, Conga, and other major IT businesses in the IT services and IT consulting domains offered sector-specific roles. International positions in Digital Marketing, Analytics, and Corporate Strategy were available through the TransWorld Group of Companies.

IIM Udaipur Concludes Global Virtual Event ‘D’Future’ On Digitising The Future As Part Of Its 10th Anniversary
December 7, 2021: The IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur celebrated its tenth anniversary by hosting a worldwide webinar event titled D'Future on Digitising the Future. The virtual event, which took place on December 2 and 3, 2021, commemorated the institute's foresight in digital technologies and frameworks. The event was attended by well-known international authors and notable educators.
"The D'Future event is definitely a very important occasion for us as it also reflects the decade anniversary of IIM Udaipur, having been created in 2011," Prof Janat Shah, Director, IIM Udaipur, stated in his address. “When a second-generation IIM, like us, completes a decade, it's a fantastic feeling. We were among the first to grasp the growing significance of digital technologies and how they are influencing businesses and economies as an institute.", he continued
Digital technology and customer-centricity are two of the institute's main focus areas. He went on to say that the institute has included digital-related courses in all of its educational programmes. He stressed IIM Udaipur's ambition 2030 of becoming an internationally recognised business school with a global position in the top 100 in research.
On the first night of the two-evening event, prominent scholar Dr. Sunil Gupta, Professor of Business Administration, Harvard Business School, gave the Keynote Address, followed by a panel discussion. The Keynote Address on Day 2 was given by Dr. Gerald Kane, Professor of Information Systems at Boston College's Carroll School of Management, and was followed by a panel discussion.
More than 1000 people attended the webinar, including company leaders, brand managers, digital heads and professionals, as well as academics, researchers, and students.
IIM Udaipur To Host D’Future Focused On The Future Of The Digital Business World
November 26, 2021: D'Future, a two-evening webinar event hosted by the IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur, will include a talk and panel discussions. The webinars will take place on December 2 and 3, 2021, and will mark the institute's foray into digital technologies and frameworks. Since its foundation in 2011, IIM Udaipur has grown to become a globally recognised and rated management B-school, and the event will mark the tenth anniversary of the institution.
The D'Future event will bring together internationally recognised professors and authors in the digital sector to discuss digital transformation. Industry leaders from India, Singapore, and the United Kingdom will attend the event and engage in panel discussions on a variety of contemporary themes. IIM Udaipur Invites Applications For Weekend, Online PG Diploma In Business Administration For Executives With Minimum Three Years Of Experience
October 21, 2021: For the academic year 2022-2024, IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur has opened applications for the second edition of its 24-month Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration for Working Executives (PGDBA-WE) Programme for professionals with at least three years of experience. The classes would be offered only on weekends in virtual mode, allowing candidates to complete the programme from the comfort of their own homes while keeping their jobs. This programme from a globally ranked and accredited IIM helps professionals, including those who are presently employed, to improve their performance and careers by providing a firm foundation and thorough understanding of company management.
On June 4, 2022, the programme will begin. The inauguration will take place the day before the programme begins, and the first week of classes will be held on campus, where students will learn the first module. On June 11, 2022, the on-campus module will come to an end. Following that, lessons will only be held online on weekends. There are no study centers or other places where the student is forced to go. Another one-week on-campus module will be held near the end of the programme, in June 2024.
Students at IIMU will also have a variety of electives to choose from. The group can select any three courses from the options.
Seminars, simulations, games, role-plays, guest lectures, and group exercises are used to supplement the institute's case-based learning method, which brings real life into the classroom and encourages participants to actively engage in their learning.
All participants who finish the programme will receive Alumni status from IIM Udaipur.
Eligibility
- Class 12 pass out and three years of university education with a Bachelor degree or equivalent in any discipline
- Minimum three years of full-time post-qualification experience as of March 31, 2022
- Valid GMAT score, or valid GRE score, or CAT scores of tests taken in 2018 or later, or score of the admission test to be conducted by IIMU. IIMU will hold an online test on January 30, 2022 (Sunday)

IIM Udaipur Opens Applications Of Its Full-Time One-Year MBA In Global Supply Chain Management And Digital Enterprise Management For 2022-2023
August 5, 2021: For the academic year 2022-2023, IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur is accepting applications for its one-year MBA programmes in Global Supply Chain Management and Digital Enterprise Management. Applications will be accepted online on the university's website, www.iimu.ac.in, beginning July 7, 2021. The MBA programmes are full-time 12-month residential MBA programmes. IIM Udaipur is the only IIM in India to provide a one-year full-time MBA in Global Supply Chain Management, as well as the only Institute in the country to offer a one-year full-time MBA in the Digital domain. Graduates from any discipline with over three years of work experience in any domain who meet the eligibility criteria and qualify in the selection process are eligible for the programmes.
The average CTC for the 8th batch of GSCM graduates this year was Rs 19.27 lakh per annum, with the top package being Rs 34.98 lakh per annum. Accenture Strategy, BNY Mellon, Bristlecone, Cognizant, Delhivery, DP World, Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd., ThoughtWorks, and Walmart Labs were among the organisations involved. The CTC for the first DEM batch of 2020-21 was Rs 19.3 lakh per annum on average, with the highest being Rs 29.7 lakh per annum. Leading companies such as Accenture Strategy & Consulting, CGI Inc, Cognizant, Deloitte, LatentView Analytics, Persistent Systems, and ThoughtWorks were among the recruiters.

IIM Udaipur Commences Nine-Day Long Virtual Engagement And Learning Programme
June 21, 2021: Unnati'21, the annual Engagement and Learning Programme for the incoming MBA class of 2021-23, has begun at the Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur.
The Institute's Director, a renowned Member of the Board of Governors, an Industry Leader, Dean (Programmes), Faculty, Student Clubs, and Alumni will lead sessions throughout the nine-day programme, which begins on June 19 and ends on June 27, 2021.
'Defying the Challenging Times' is the topic for Unnati‘21, and it emphasises on how the business sector is learning to adapt and grow in difficult situations, such as the current epidemic. Changes that were previously simply business simulations have now become a reality; the present is a novel synergist. Interactions with IIM Udaipur stakeholders via webinars, interactive workshops, and engaging activities prompt personal reflections to help students better understand their capabilities.

IIM Udaipur Invites Applications For The 2021-22 Intake of its PG Diploma in Business Administration For Working Executives
March 3, 2021: Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur is inviting applications for the second edition of its 20-month Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration for Working Executives (PGDBAWE) Programme for working professionals.
The IIMU allows the full/part-funding of the applicants by their existing employers, as well as the enrolment of working professionals jointly with their financial arrangements. Company permission is required to attend the weekend classes in the latter case.
This weekend programme will enable workers employed in the surrounding areas of Rajasthan, Gujarat and MP to complete their weekday work commitments and fly comfortably to classes held on Saturdays and Sundays alone.
The programme draws on solid fundamentals in fields such as finance, marketing, human resources management, strategy, networking, economics and operational management. It also develops leadership skills and serves both professional development and continuing significance through its special emphasis on new-age industry paradigms in emerging technology, analytics, design thinking, etc. The course begins in July 2021 and ends in March 2022. IIM Udaipur will grant Alumni Status to all learners who complete the course.
Eligibility:
- Graduate in any discipline
- Valid GMAT score or valid GRE score or CAT evaluation score taken in 2018 or older. Alternatively, applicants will appear in the IIMU Qualifying Exam, which will take place on April 04, 2021.
- Minimum of three years of full-time post-qualification experience as of 30 June 2021.

IIM Udaipur Organises Research Communication Masterclass Series
February 11, 2021: Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur (IIMU) recently hosted a virtual Research Communication Masterclass Series in joint efforts with SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR). The Master Class was planned to improve the skill of graduate students and young scholars to make high-quality research presentations.
The consistency of research presentations is a central factor in the socialisation of research. The Master Class will help students develop their ability to frame questions, relate questions to relevant methodology, and say a story. The overall purpose is to provide a successful presentation and collaboration.
Under the Masterclass, twenty internationally recognised scholars will present co-authored/authored articles of their own interest. Every monthly session will run for approximately two hours, during which researchers will present the most recent top-tier analysis for one hour, and then discuss the explanations behind the presentation in the remaining hour. Discussions will be available to faculty and graduate candidates.
IIM-U Students Secure 2nd Position in Edgistify Innovation Challenge
January 29, 2021: Arpit Gupta and Anurag Gupta (Team Digitron), first-year students at Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur recently participated in the second edition of Edgistify Innovation Challenge 2020. The team participated in the real-world problem category and digitisation of site visits in the sub-category at the competition and presented the School among 460 teams from 280 colleges. Among all, the team DIgitron managed to secure the second position in the competition.
Major businesses globally face difficulties in digitising and simplifying the operation of the supply chain and logistics management. The goal of this competition was to provide a forum for young minds, working professionals and budding entrepreneurs who can revolutionise the industry with their creative ideas. The contest saw top-notch presentations from all the entrants and took off with a massive individual registration count of 1,802.
IIM Udaipur’s Annual Management Fest – Solaris’ 20-21 concludes
January 11, 2021: Yesterday, the sixth edition of Solaris, IIM Udaipur's annual management fest, concluded after a two-day long management extravaganza. The fest was organised and managed by IIMU students. The theme for Solaris this year was 'Transcending Ideologies'.
The festival featured activities and tournaments for students from B-Schools from all across the country, including Vaad-Vivad, Mind-Wizz, Ops-Samasya, Auctionnaire, MarcWars Saudagar, Vitt-Sangram, Ingenium and Arohan. These immersive and extremely engaging experiences helped students to challenge each other in models of real-life scenarios, helping them think on their feet and out of the box as well.

IIM Udaipur Becomes the National Finalist in Global Management Challenge (GMC) India 2020
December 24, 2020: In one of the largest strategy and management competitions in the world, the Global Management Challenge (GMC) organised by SDG-Simuladores e Modelos de Gestão, IIM Udaipur became the GMC India 2020 National Finalists. GMC consists of a management exercise in which businesses and B-Schools engage as a team and run a simulated organisation for more than five weeks. Their goal is to achieve the best investment performance for the owners of the company. In this year's management competition, in which all of India's top B-schools, including IIMs, participated, seven IIM Udaipur teams, out of the 54 chosen, entered the National Qualification Round.
With 40 GMC editions, there are about 30,000 entrants from more than 35 countries worldwide who compete in the competition every year. GMC India 2020 is a 10-week long competition that started on September 18, 2020. The competition was attended by more than 3,516 students and corporate managers and over 768 Academic and Corporate teams.

IIMU’s Centre for Digital Enterprise Management Signs MoU with CGI
December 9, 2020: The Centre for Digital Enterprise Management at Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur recently entered into an agreement with CGI Information Systems & Management Consultants Private Limited to speed up ventures, participate in knowledge sharing and exchange expertise at the industry level. CGI is one of the world's leading multinational consultancy companies for IT and industry.
In partnership with CGI, the B-school has entered into the vision of providing its students with industry-level exposure in the form of co-creating curriculum through case studies, research papers, white papers, and the creation of industry-level frameworks. The B-school can also follow guidelines from CGI on the quality of the course.
CGI will hold knowledge transfer sessions as part of the partnership, coordinate special preparation and curriculum consultations, support and tutor students during their tenure. During the campus placement process, IIM Udaipur will also invite CGI for the final placement of the class.
IIM Udaipur Sets Up a Consumer Culture Lab
November 5, 2020: The IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management announced the virtual launch of its ‘Consumer Culture Lab' to facilitate research in India on consumer culture. The launch of the Consumer Culture Lab and the ‘Return to Laughter: Comedy Culture in India’ webinar is scheduled for 6:30 pm-8:30 pm IST on November 7, 2020.
This Lab has been set up to address the rising global demand for research on Indian consumers by respected faculty and researchers affiliated with the institute. It aims to put together insights on market analysis in India from anthropology, sociology and psychology, encouraging students, researchers and business experts to establish a more holistic and comprehensive view of Indian customers.
Dr Vijay Parthasarathy, a cultural strategist and commercial semiologist with a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin, will hold the 'Return to Laughter: Comedy Culture in India' webinar. On stand-up comedy in India, Vijay has done comprehensive ethnography and will speak about the history of comedy in Indian society, and the role of stand-up comedy in shaping global modernity.

IIM Udaipur Signs Multiple MoUs with Digital Companies
September 24, 2020: IIM Udaipur recently entered into an agreement with multiple digital companies such as Aparaa Digital Pv Ltd (RoundSqr), Zero Code Innovations Pvt Ltd and Quinte Financial Services Pvt Ltd with an aim to expand its focus on AI, business process orchestration & Fintech, and to bring joint research and live-industry-project opportunities to students.
These corporate companies will conduct knowledge transfer seminars, special education training and consultations on the programme, and will guide students throughout the tenure of this agreement. In addition, IIM Udaipur will also invite these start up’s to participate in the final placements of the batch.
The Centre for Digital Enterprise at IIM Udaipur has recently launched a one-year MBA program in Digital Enterprise Management. May 6, 2020: Amid the current lockdown situation, IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management (IIMU) is offering students access to over 18 online management courses on the online platform-Coursera. The courses cover all core areas of management subjects-HR, Operations, Marketing, Finance and Analytics. This initiative is intended for the students of batch 2019-21.
In the current scenario when a lot of institutes and corporates have shut their operations, IIM-U is making effort to not let students suffer any academic loss.
The successful completion of the offered courses will make the student eligible for two credits of the second-year course requirement. Students could substitute the selected course with an IIMU elective course of two credits. However, if they wish, students are allowed to take more than the minimum required credits.

IIM-U Organises Annual Cultural Fest-Audacity 2.0
February 3, 2020: IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management (IIMU), organised its annual cultural fest AUDACITY 2.0 on February 1-2 at its Balicha Campus. The event was attended by over 5,000 people with most of the participants hailing from Gujarat and Delhi.
This year the theme was “Escape Reality” in context to which over 30 events were organised, including cooking contest, fashion show, group dance, treasure hunt, solo singing, rap battle, street play, case study and debate. Prizes worth over Rs 3 lakh were distributed to the winners during these events. A lot of events were also sponsored by various industry leaders such as Secure Meters, Pepsi, Spykar, Gaana, Padharo Travel, Inox and Forum Celebration Mall.
IIM Udaipur Incubation Center registers 27 startups under accelerator program
January 13, 2020: Launch-n-Zoom 2.0, a 12-week accelerator cohort programme was kickstarted by IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management (IIMU), Incubation Centre on January 13. The event witnessed 27 startups in Udaipur from different domains such as SpaceTech, IoT and Payments, AI and Machine learning, Construction, Agri-Tech, Blockchain/Supply Chain, Waste Management, Healthcare, Networking, Logistics, Hospitality and FMCG, participating in the event. The programme was designed to profitably scale up different companies and focuses on product-to-market consistency. Over this 12 weeks of journey of learning, mentoring and networking, entrepreneurs will experience a variety of DIY activities to create and develop their product/service models through industry leaders engagement and guidance. This programme also gives start-up’s access to additional benefits such as knowledge of equipment and software for MVP development and prototyping; discovery of customers; prototype refinement; assistance in development of new edition of products and market testing of products; co-working spaces with 24x7 internet connectivity; and tailor-made topics and knowledge resources.
IIMU Launches First Issue of Business Review Magazine
December 10, 2019:IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management (IIMU), launched and released the first issue of its Business Review Magazine. Institute plans to release the magazine biannually. The first issue of the magazine was about Digital India and its reflections. The second issue is expected to have more of editorial columns, guest articles, research insights and perspectives of key stakeholders. This initiative aims at making high-quality, impact-oriented work available to practitioners and offering expert perspectives that will be of interest to management professionals.
The need of such a B-school magazine arises from a variety of technological advancements at global level and industry that affects managerial and business activities today.
November 18th, 2019: For 2019-20, the IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management (IIMU) has been declared as a robust accelerator system hub in Rajasthan by the National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Science and Technology Department of the Government of India. Only nine incubations are listed across India, one of which is led by Umamahesvaram Mandi, the IIMU Accelerator Program Centre.
Recent developments have taken place in the context of the forthcoming IIM-U’s Launch-n-Zoom 2.0 accelerator cohort programme. The eleborate programme is open to technology-based startups from every field under the theme of MARKET-VALIDATION-LAUNCH. The selected cohort will begin training in January 2020. Prior to this, IIM-U’s Incubation Centre hosted its first successful cohort in 2018 where 18 startups were selected out of 275 applicants following a thorough process.
Applications from all over India are welcomed till November 30 for early-stage startups that have done Proof-of-Concept and are in the process of developing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and building prototype.
IIM Udaipur Hosts Solaris, Annual Management Fest
November 11th, 2019: IIM-U on November 11 hosted a two-day long extravaganza Annual Management Fest named Solaris. This year the theme of the event was decided to be “Success Through Synergy”. The event started with the operations summit, Unmesh, which hosted Ranag Davala referring to the meaning and impact of synergy in his career. This was followed by the Economics Summit, Antar-Drishti, presented by Chief Economist YES Bank Dr Shubhada Rao, who gave an enriching message on linking the supply disruption to the policymaking effect of technology.
Later, Chief Economic Strategist at Geojit Dr V K Vijaykumar gave a lecture on the learnings from the structural economic slowdown and twin shocks of demonetisation and Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Investment Manager at Klay Capital Akshat Kumar was the final speaker at the summit. The marketing summit of Solaris’19 ended with Savannah. The Senior Director, DELL-EMC, L. Jagannath spoke about creating brands, the value of messaging, marketing strategies and user experience and how to achieve optimal results by incorporating effective policies, approaches, and implementation methods.
Events such as Solaris are initiated by IIM-U to help the students interact with the industry leaders and gain keen insight from their knowledge and experience.

Placements: All the students have been placed apart from those who have opted out of placements due to their own reasons. The lineup of companies at IIMU is good when compared to other new IIMs. But there is still a long way to go. Most of the prominent companies hire from IIMU. The top recruiters consist of Accenture Strategy, Pidilite, Amazon, PwC, GE, EY, and JPMC. These firms offer various roles in finance, marketing, and consulting.
Placements: There is a 98% placement guarantee, and I know that most of the students got their placements with their best scores in the semester exams. From the 2nd year, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Amazon, Wipro, Accenture, and TCS visit our college. The highest package offered in campus placements is 16 LPA. I think 60% of students get placed in companies. If a student scores well and is serious about their studies, they can get placements. I have a plan to pursue off-ca...
Placements: Good placements, with 100 percent placement from the college side. Great placement team! Helps everyone with all the preparation needed. Preparation such as group discussion, mock interviews with industry mentors, alumni mentors, domain-selected mentors, etc.
Placements: In the first year, they give internships in Pidilite, Titan, and Amazon. 100% students got internships with stipends starting from 20k monthly. In the final year, on-campus placements start with JP Morgan, Well fargo, Goldman sachs, Titan, TATA and many other companies visiting for the placements drive. Package offered was 20 lacs depending on the students’ performance. Roles offered depend on vacancies in the company.
Placements: Campus placement is okay. It is not as per college brand name, it is consider new IIM apart from that the average package is around 20 LPA. The summer internship package is 1.5 lacs for 2 months. For internships, many companies offer different packages: Accenture (4 LPA), Pidilite (3 LPA), Titan (3 LPA) and many more. Many big firms—Goldman Sachs, Citibank, and Deloitte—conduct pool drives.
Placements: Final-year students are eligible for final placements. The average stipend goes around 25 lacs, and the highest is around 45–50 lacs. Companies like Coca-Cola, Flipkart, Google, American Express, Tata, GE, Goldman Sachs, Titan, etc. visit the campus for placements. Almost 100% of the batch gets placed in one go.
