Good college and good facilities are available.

Faculty: Teachers are very strict and have a good helping nature. They have good qualifications and knowledge in teaching. The teaching quality is excellent, which helps us understand the concepts. Exams are very tough, and we have to study well. Fifty percent of marks are required to pass the semester exams.

Good faculty and staff, decent placements, "85% attendance is mandatory."

Faculty: The faculty here are really helpful and friendly. Yes, about the teaching part, they teach well, but you will be flooded with assignments and homework. The course curriculum is not completely relevant; you need to learn some skills by yourself, especially soft skills. About assignments and semester exams, they are moderate to tough, so you need to study well.

Decent college for a third generation IIT.

Faculty: The faculty is good but they are not very experienced. The first year is full of irrelevant courses, just like any engineering college. Teaching quality is good. Evaluation is done continuously, which is good. Semester exams are difficult at times but usually score well. Almost everyone can pass the semester.

The best quality facilities, placements and faculty are available for the students at this college.

Faculty: Professors at IIT Palakkad are highly qualified and knowledgeable. All the professors have good experience in the teaching field. They are giving their best for the students. The course curriculum at our college is relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Professors were also helpful and supportive of the students during placements. Exams were of a medium-difficult level in our course. Various workshops and industry visits are organized by the college professors for the students.

IIT Palakkad includes a nursing home.

Faculty: The qualified teaching staff, holding Ph.D. degrees and mentored by experts from IIT Bombay, are knowledgeable and supportive. The pace of covering chapters can be somewhat brisk with a mix of both experienced and new teachers. Examinations include test 1, test 2, mid-terms, and end-sems, though writing them can be challenging.

My views on Indian Institute of Technology, Palakkad.

Faculty: The faculty who teach us are very experienced, very talented and friendly; they clarify doubts in offline as well as online and in the training and placement cell, they help us very much. The course in mechanical engineering is the best option for industry purposes, and the faculty also prepares us to be the best in every aspect. There will be mid- and end-semester exams for each semester, and the percentage is 30 percent. The exams are not too difficult; we can easily complete them.

Promising placements with good infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers here are knowledgeable and qualified but support varies. The curriculum is relevant but needs an update for industry readiness. Semester exams are challenging, with a moderate pass percentage requiring diligent preparation. Overall, I would rate it 3 stars.

Choose this college because its all about IIT.

Faculty: As I'm studying in IIT, there shouldn't be any doubt about teachers. Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. According to your course, you will be assigned a faculty advisor who directs you in your career. The course curriculum is very relevant to industry standards. There is an event named Industry-Academic Conclaves which happens once a year where students interact with industry experts. Semester exams are easy, there is no need for doing extra work if you pay attention in class, and the...

IIT palakkad : nurturing minds for the better world.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. Teachers are Ph.D. scholars. Teaching quality is very good and they gives us the knowledge they got. The curriculum is very flexible and good. It makes the students to balance all the things. The semester exams in my college are somewhat difficult. The pass percentage is good in my college.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and helpful. All are highly educated from abroad and more talented. Teaching was good. They will shape and make each and every student ready to go to jobs. Semester exams were literally gard and 85% is compulsory. We need 7.5CGPA to get into interviews and jobs .

Not worthy of the IIT tag.

Faculty: Very few of the faculty are friendly, helpful, and have good teaching skills. Most are quite strict, don't teach well, and are also quite lazy. The curriculum is more research- and academic-focused and not very relevant to industry. You have to take plenty of irrelevant courses in CSE. You also have to study most of the things on your own since teachers don't teach everything. There are also 85% attendance criteria, relatively low grading, and continuous evaluation, so academics are quite tough ...

I am satisfied with this college, but not with the food.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult.
