B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027

Strong curriculum, supportive faculty, and great placements with excellent infrastructure.
Placements: For the CSE passing out batch at IIT Tirupati, placement rates were reportedly about 60%. The highest package was around 60 LPA, and the lowest about 8 LPA. The average figure was about 20 LPA. Major companies that recruited students in the CSE course included Accenture, GEP, TCS, and other top tech firms. Most of the major roles were in software development; however, there were also major roles in data science, machine learning, and consulting. About 70-80% of the students got internships. The most recruiting companies were Microsoft, Google, Amazon, among others, as well as several startups. The most common internship programs were in product development, research, and engineering. The major roles offered in CSE were Software Developer, Data Analyst, Machine Learning Engineer, and Backend Developer, which factored in the increasing demand for technical prowess in the industry. The offered roles enhanced students' skills needed for professional development into the future.
Infrastructure: The students who join the CSE department at IIT Tirupati are provided with excellent facilities and infrastructure. The campus is well-equipped, with high-speed Wi-Fi for smooth internet access for academic work. The labs provided by the department are equipped with modern computers and the best tools a student will require to learn hands-on in the field of computer science. Classrooms are spacious, well-conditioned, and well-facilitated with projectors and smart boards to facilitate interactive teaching. The library also provides students with an extensive collection of books, journals, and other digital resources that facilitate research work for courses. All hostel facilities were good. The rooms available were clean and comfortable. The amenities offered here included a regular supply of water, laundry services, and Wi-Fi. The mess provided hygienic food. A rotating menu is designed based on preferences over a choice between vegetarian and non-vegetarian food in a particular mess. The taste was not always to our liking, but it was suitable, nutritious, and satisfactory. On the campus, there was also a canteen for snacks apart from meals. The campus does have medical facilities, including a health center where doctors are available for consultation and other kinds of emergency care, along with first aid. There are various facilities for sports and recreation at IIT Tirupati: football fields, basketball and volleyball courts, among other areas for indoor games like table tennis; thus, it is a well-rounded student life focusing on both academics and physical fitness.
Faculty: They are qualified and knowledgeable in many cases; they may even hold advanced degree qualifications from good institutes. They generally are reachable and helpful and take support inside as well as outside the classroom. Teaching quality is commendable, as it aims at illustrating not only the theoretical concepts but also the practical applications, which makes learning very interesting and relevant to real challenges. The curriculum of the course is relevant and poised to meet industry requirements. It covers core disciplines in computer science and also a minimum set of essential topics like algorithms, data structures, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and software engineering. With an emphasis on projects, lab work, and internships, the curriculum ensures that students graduating with it are well-equipped to participate directly in the industry. The semester exams are moderately challenging but fair at IIT Tirupati. They evaluate not just the perception of the concepts but the practical problem-solving skills to solve problems. With consistent and regular efforts, the students can do quite well. The pass percentage is pretty good too, around 85-90%. Continuous assessment along with continuous rigor helps in the students' academic environment combined with faculty support.
Other: I learned this course of CSE because of my passion for technology and problem-solving. Computer science provides a vibrant domain with infinite possibilities in areas such as software development, data science, and artificial intelligence. The course provides a foundation to create solutions that impact industries and everyday life, thus aligning with my career goals. The best things about the course are that it is very industrial-oriented and closer to current technological trends, hence offering a very industry-relevant curriculum to prepare for industry requirements. There are many hands-on labs, projects, and internships to implement theoretical knowledge toward the world. Professors are knowledgeable as well as accessible. There is a variety of career options: CSE can lead to a wide range of careers, from conventional software engineering to frontier research in areas like AI and ML. Developments include more electives on emerging topics so that students can specialize as per their requirements and customization in education. More tie-ups with tech companies to include workshops, internships, and live projects to give students practical application. Tech and cultural fests: IIT Tirupati hosts several tech and cultural fests that are a magnet for talent from all over India. It offers a good opportunity for the demonstration of various skills and interaction with other students. Campus crowd: It has an electrifying learning environment having a diverse and intellectually stimulating crowd. Connectivity and surroundings: The roads' connectivity is very good, and scenic surroundings create a very serene backdrop for academics to unfold. Scholarships: There are merit-based scholarships and financial aid provisions for such students. Extracurricular activities: Coding clubs, robotics teams, cultural societies, sports, and events in school will help a student lead beyond the four walls of his or her classroom. The balance between these and academics ensures all-round development.

Nothing nooooooooooooooooo.
Placements: IT Tirupati started its academic services in August 2015 from a temporary campus on Renigunta Road. So far, none of the batches have entered their final year to get placements. At the end of the sixth semester, every student is expected to do an internship. A placement cell was established in August 2017 to conduct all placement activities smoothly. Around 80% of students got internships. Many big companies offered internships to our students, such as Mahindra, Amara Raja, Tata, Isuzu, and Nvidia.
Infrastructure: Producing some of the brightest engineering minds in India, with a strong focus on academic excellence and intellectual curiosity. The faculty recruited for the first and second semesters are mostly from IIT Madras. Once the institute started recruiting its permanent faculty, there were some notable additions. The number of permanent faculty at our institute will surpass that of some second-generation IITs like Gandhinagar and Mandi by the end of the autumn semester of 2018. The professors are very well qualified with impressive profiles. Many teaching methods are used, such as web seminars and practical experience. The course curriculum is almost the same as that of IIT Madras, which is one of the best in the country.
Faculty: The Indian Institutes of Technology are the premier institutes in the country for technical education. In 2015, M.H.R.D., Government of India, started two new IITs. IIT Tirupati is one of them and is being mentored by IIT Madras. It currently operates from a location on Renigunta Road. There are two boys' hostels, one in Laksminagar and the other near Alipiri. The hostel facilities are excellent. The transit campus is expected to be ready before the convocation of the first batch.

Beautiful and lovely campus.
Placements: I really don't know much about placements, but I heard from my seniors that they are okay. More companies are coming, and my seniors are mostly trying new ideas and thinking about startups. Our college encourages startups, and there is a separate department for it with a great head.
Infrastructure: Sports are more available in our college, with many options apart from academics. The labs and classrooms are well designed. I really like my chemistry lab from the first year; all the labs are well structured with all the equipment, and the people in the lab are so nice—they help a lot.
Faculty: It is a bit difficult to score high due to the competition, but the teachers are really well qualified and very friendly. Studying with friends during exams is enjoyable, and the curriculum is provided to us before the semester starts.
Other: Scholarships are provided by the institute based on income and caste. All courses are well designed.

Expect placements; everything is good.
Placements: Nowadays, placements and internships are not very good, mainly for core branches. For CSE and electrical, they are okay. Google, HCL, Accenture, Amazon, and Adobe are the top recruiting companies. Front-end and back-end developers are the top roles.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good compared to other colleges. We have Wi-Fi connections everywhere on campus, and the speed is also good. Our department has many well-equipped labs. Medical facilities are available 24/7, and the food is average.
Faculty: Faculty here are well-trained and highly knowledgeable, having graduated from top colleges. The teachers are very friendly, and we can approach them anytime for clarification. The curriculum is also very relevant. The exams are tough, and the pass percentage depends on the paper's difficulty.
