The total tuition fee for BTech at IIT Tirupati is INR 8 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. For the exact fee, students can reach out to the admission office. Candidates need to pay the programme fee after completion of the selection rounds to confirm their seat in the institute. Other than this, students are required to pay the JEE Main application fee which is INR 625 (for boys) and INR 325 (for girls). IIT Tirupati offers the four-year BTech across five specialisations, namely Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Civil Engineering. • Admission to 100% of the seats in BTech is done on the basis of JEE Advanced ranks during JoSAA counselling
•  Cutoff reservations, however, are applicable to SC/ ST/ EWS/ OBC-NCL/ PwD candidates as per Govt. of India rules

The admission process for various courses is defined below:

• For BTech, MSc M.Tech courses, JEE Advanced ranks, IIT-JAM, CEED and GATE scores are considered for the selection of candidates. JoSAA and CCMN counsellings are conducted for seat allotment to BTech and MSc courses.
• After application, the institute considers institute-level tests and merit scores of students for MS and PhD admission.
• Admission to PhD is also based on other national-level exam scores/ institute-level entrance and interview.
• A merit list is released by the institute for announcing the names of the candidates shortlisted for MA, M.Tech and PhD courses followed by a counselling round. Candidates need to pay the admission fee to confirm their admission.

Out of all the BTech specialisations offered by IIT Tirupati, Computer Science and Engineering has the most competitive cutoff in Round 6 of 2022 compared to the rest. Electrical Engineering follows this branch of Engineering. With respect to the placements, companies, such as Adobe, Microsoft, Amazon, Sprinkler and Salesforce have been hiring students of CSE.
