Mentioned below is the application process for PhD at IT Tirupati:

1. Visit the official website of IIT Tirupato.
2. Fill out the application form and upload the required documents.
3. Pay the non-refundable application fee, submit and print the application form. The application fee for General and male candidates is INR 100 and for SC/ ST/ PwD and female candidates is INR 50.

The list of documents required for PhD admission are listed below:

• Aadhaar number and PAN number
• First page of SSLC/ SSC/ matriculation certificate
• Copy of the submitted application form
• Original GATE scorecard or CSIR-UGC-JRF/ LS/ NET/ DAE-JEST or other fellowship award letter
• Degree certificate/ provisional/ course completion certificate/ grade cards/ mark sheets of all the semesters of degrees obtained.
• SC/ ST/ EWS/ OBC-NCL community certificate for the candidate belonging to SC/ST/ EWS/ OBC-NCL category (OBC-NCL scholars to bring a non-creamy layer community certificate valid at the time of admission)
• Relieving order/ Resignation acceptance letter from the employer in the case of full-time candidates, if employed
• Relieving letter, NOC/ permission and consent of co-guide from the parent organisation in case of external candidates

IIT Tirupati welcome aspirants from ASEAN countries to apply for PhD fellowships. The full-time foreign PhD research scholars are eligible for financial assistantship of INR 25,000 per month for the first two years and INR 28000 per month for next three years of registration. All such research scholars have to put in eight hours every week towards work assigned by the institute.

The admission process for various courses is defined below:

• For BTech, MSc M.Tech courses, JEE Advanced ranks, IIT-JAM, CEED and GATE scores are considered for the selection of candidates. JoSAA and CCMN counsellings are conducted for seat allotment to BTech and MSc courses.
• After application, the institute considers institute-level tests and merit scores of students for MS and PhD admission.
• Admission to PhD is also based on other national-level exam scores/ institute-level entrance and interview.
• A merit list is released by the institute for announcing the names of the candidates shortlisted for MA, M.Tech and PhD courses followed by a counselling round. Candidates need to pay the admission fee to confirm their admission.

Out of all the BTech specialisations offered by IIT Tirupati, Computer Science and Engineering has the most competitive cutoff in Round 6 of 2022 compared to the rest. Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice. 

NTA announced JEE Main 2024 dates. NTA coducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions.
