IMS Engineering College Review .

Placements: Speaking of placements the ratio is quite average. The maximum package that one can expect is usually around 10 lacs per annum. The companies that come for hiring are usually the ones hiring in bulk for reference Tcs, HCl and Infosys. Having expectations that companies with much bigger influence and package will come is a waste of time as the crowd is not that good. But one can try applying for the off campus internships.

If you are from commerce, UC will be a better option, but for engineering, it's not recommended.

Placements: In the mechanical branch, till now in the present batch, 3 students have been placed in Mahindra and Mahindra Tech. The highest package is 6.5L and the minimum is 3.4L. The top recruitment company is Mahindra. About 40% of students got internships in the present batch.

Overall, college is good, but don't expect a bollywood-type college life.

Placements: Mostly, 75% of students got placed, and the salary package offered is between 3 LPA-5 LPA. Overall, placements are average. However, assignments and other tasks are given more focus than coding. Ultimately, it's students skills and expertise we have to do all things on our own.

An average college with average placements, and some of the faculty is genuinely good.

Placements: The placement scenario is not satisfactory. I don't know the exact percentage of students who get placed, but I guess it should be around 60-70%. The average salary package as shown on the website is 6 LPA but it could be low due to an ongoing placement scenario. Our college provides paid internships, so I am not interested in this.

IMSEC is a good college but not in a good region.

Placements: Our college is decent in terms of placements. Last year, the average salary package offered in the CS IT course was 4 LPA. Companies like TCS, KPMG, etc., visited our college and offered a salary package of 9 LPA. There is no highest salary package compared to other colleges.

Choose another college rather than this; there are many reputed colleges in NCR.

Placements: Placement team is very bad. They are just enjoying and having a salary to do nothing for students. The TPO is very arrogant. The placement record of my year is very bad; only 35-40% students are placed, and the rest are unplaced. They also give you few opportunities to give interviews.

Dissatisfied by the placements. Hostel staff is cooperative.

Placements: There were approx. 700+ students in the final year representative of all branches. And in Computer Science only, there were approx. 120-130 students. The placements record for the 2024 batch is not as good as expected, as not enough recruiters came to the college for the placements. Only 20-30% of students got placed from campus, and the highest package was only 5 LPA, which was grabbed by a mechanical student, and for computer science, the highest package was 4.25 LPA only. The average package ...

IMS a college that is average and made for people who work hard. Faculty members are awesome.

Placements: At least 60 to 70 percent of students got placed with decent packages. The highest package offered is 50 LPA by Microsoft, the average is 3-4 LPA, and the lowest is 1-1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Justdial, etc. At least 50% of students got internships in their 3rd year. The top role is Electronic Engineer.

Very much dissatisfied with my college because of the director and the HOD.

Placements: Only 10% students get placed on average. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA and average package is 6.5 LPA. TCS was the top recruiting company. Only 2–5% of students get internships at companies like Code Alpha, etc. Software development is the top role offered in my course.

I would recommend that you must visit the college and hostel once before taking admission.

Placements: Placements are fine. Here they give a chance to you for ISIP, which is an internship program on the board, which is a very good thing. This year, Amazon also came. You have to stand out from the crowd for the placements here, as it is quite a task to get it. You can take direct as well admission through CUET. I would recommend through CUET as you get a scholarship if you come through counseling.

Placements: The placement percentage of college is 60%. The highest package is 50 Lacs to 3 students, the average package is 4 Lacs. The companies like cognizant, Wipro, Accenture, Infosys are the top recruiters There are paid and unpaid internship provided to students on the basis of there skill. Technical training are started for students from 2 year.

Infrastructure can be improved.

Placements: Placements can be better, but so far, they are okay. I heard that many companies are recruiting students, but the package is not really good, ranging from barely 3.5 lacs, which obviously is not enough considering the current scenario, so it's okay.

The campus is average according to me.

Placements: I don't know how many students were placed; no one shared that information with me. The college proclaimed that the highest package is about 50 lakhs per annum and the lowest they have proclaimed is 2 lakhs per annum. I don't know the top recruiting companies.

Overall the college is not so good. I am dissatisfied with my college.

Placements: Only 30 percent of students are placed. The highest package was 40 lacs, the lowest was 2.5 lacs, and the average was 3.5 lacs. The top recruiters are Amazon, TCS, Deloitte, etc. No internship is provided by the college; data analysis was the top role offered by our college.

Inexperienced faculty, poor placements in 2023, average infrastructure, but good hostel facilities.

Placements: The 2023 batch of IMSEC was the most unlucky batch. Not many companies visited this year, and among the ones that did, most were offering sales jobs. According to the college, more than 90% of the students got placed, but in reality, not even 50% of the students have jobs. The first thing is that no mass recruiters came to the college. 2nd: Many of the companies that hired some students fired them after a month or two. So they currently don't have a job. 3rd: In my batch, most of the people who ...

Overall, I'm satisfied with our college in terms of placements, exams, facilities, and teachers.

Placements: Almost 30% of the students of our batch got placed in different companies including me. None of the girl students in our batch got placed in any core or non-core companies. I got placement in 3 different companies like Wealth Clinic Private limited, Byjus, and Hettich India Limited.

It is not the best but good college.

Placements: Placements in IMS Engineering College are good. The college provides great education and support for placement-related activities but a lot of things can be improved. The average salary package for IMS Engineering College is around 3 LPA to 4 LPA but few students get great offers also.

The culture and environment of this college are good.

Placements: Almost every student gets placed. Each student is eligible for one job. However, if the student is allowed to participate in the second offer, it will be informed in advance. But the right is reserved by the college and CDC. Students from streams like electrical, mechanical, civil, and EC will be allowed to sit for campus drive of core companies even if they have offers from non-core or IT companies. If any student of any branch is selected in their core domain then they will not be allowed to p...
