A good college to develop your potentials. You learn from this student driven campus.

Placements: The highest salary package offered in the college was 14 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7.5 LPA. Many good brands such as Verity, Deloitte, and Convonix, etc., visit for final placements. many good companies also visit for summer internships. There is a placement cell driven by students and management.

A gist of life at IMT, Nagpur with all the pros and cons.

Placements: Placement season starts around the first week of October. The institute can successfully place 80% of the students with an average package of 6.50 LPA. Placements for the marketing department are good with companies like VLCC and Eveready have visited the college. Some good companies like CRISIL and Deloitte visited the college for the finance department.

Overall, I would say that this college is average.

Placements: Our placements didn't take place yet, but internship was offered to everyone, and it was 100%. At least 40% of the batch students got it by off-campus. Our batch size is more than 480, so placement scenario would be bad. They are not able to place more than 300 students every year. The average salary package was 6 LPA, but on their website, they showed it was 7.5 LPA. It had scopes of improvement, but now not anymore.

The college gave me two years of bliss in my life.

Placements: The placements were good. The companies that participated were renowned and offered great packages to the students. They also provided the students with excellent job profiles which helped the students pick their choice of work. The locations offered were also substantially good.

This is one of the best colleges for PGDM course. Faculty are intelligent. Campus placement is good.

Placements: Relating to the location of the college, the placements are quite good. The average package offered is good. Mock GD and PI classes are provided by the college for the students to prepare for final placements. Aptitude tests are taken in the college for preparing students to crack the placement tests.

Good infrastructure and great campus.

Placements: The placements are good. Companies are visiting, and the placement team is also trying hard to place each and every student in the college. The students also must work hard and have full knowledge before sitting for any company and should not only blame college for not getting selected.

Dissatisfied because of placements.

Placements: Placement scenario is not good. Companies here in our campus are not coming for finance profile. Thus placement is pathetic. The highest salary was offered for marketing profile was around 13 LPA and average salary offered in our campus was around 6 LPA which is fair.

IMT Nagpur review by alumnus of batch 2016-2018.

Placements: Placements are just decent. Average package is 6-6.5 Lacs. The batch strength was 360. No. Of students placed by convocation was a little over 300. A lot of BFSI companies came this year for Sales profiles. Only one company for advertising profile: Caratlane. Most companies in Marketing profile offer Sales profiles. Some HR, Operations companies came as well. A few Business Analytics companies visited such as Nielsen, Wipro, etc. The no. Of companies offering Finance profiles are low. The instit...

Satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placement is pretty good, but there are very few companies which come down to campus with core finance profile including Crisil, Verity, Deloitte, Eclerx. The college is known for its marketing specialisation as it is the flagship course. The average package is around 6 LPA. Almost 85% of the batch get placed.

This college is away from the city and has less medical facilities. It is good for freshers who wants to go for sales and marketing, but is bad from actual finance and consulting related placements' perspective. The faculty members are good and helpful and easily reachable, but the peer learning for work experience perspective is less.

IMT Nagpur could be a prime or emerging B-school, there need to be some improvements and changes in the policies. Only case studies, assignments, presentations or exams are not part of a student’s life. Obviously it is important but there has to be something innovative and creative in academics. Overall it is fine college

Institute of management technology Nagpur is good for students who want to go for marketing, the faculty is amazing. But if you want to go for finance, this isn't the college for you. The placements in HR are also disappointing though the faculty is great. In marketing the placements are decent.

They have great faculty and infrastructure. However, placements are decent.

Placements: Overall placements in our college are decent. Students get a good profile but with a decent salary package. Overall, marketing placements are good as compared to finance placements. If you are interested in finance, this college might not be a good option.
