Indian Academy Degree College Scholarships and Funding
1) Merit Scholarships:
Students who passed from a recognised Board/University with an Academy Merit.
Candidates who scored 61-70 percentage marks will get a 5% scholarship.
Candidates who scored 71-80 percentage marks will get a 10% scholarship.
Candidates who scored 81-90 percentage marks will get a 15% scholarship.
Candidates who scored 91-100 percentage marks will get a 20% scholarship.
2) Indian Academy to Indian Academy:-
Students who are joining from Indian Academy to Indian Academy i.e. from IAPUC / +2 to UG programmes/IADC UG to PG programmes.
Candidates will get 5% of the Indian Academy to Indian Academy scholarship.
3) Sports Scholarship:-
1. Students to present original sports achievement certificate at the time of admission.
2. Original Certificate to be verified and approved by PED Director & respective Principal.
District Level Champion Category candidates will get a 5% Scholarship
State Level Champion Category candidates will get a 10% Scholarship
National Level Champion Category candidates will get a 20% Scholarship
International Level Champion Category candidates will get a 25% Scholarship
4) NCC Scholarship:-
1. Students to present original NCC certificate at the time of admission.
2. Original Certificate to be verified and approved by NCC Officer & respective Principal.
NCC 'A' & 'B' Certificate Category candidates will get a 5% Scholarship
NCC 'C' Certificate Category candidates will get a 10% Scholarship
5) Defence/Paramilitary and Police Scholarship:-
1. Parents valid ID card copy/proof of service to be submitted at admission.
Martyr/Disabled in Action Category candidates will get a 10% Scholarship
Awarded for Gallantry Category candidates will get a 10% Scholarship
Widows Category candidates will get a 10% Scholarship
Working/Retired Category candidates will get a 5% Scholarship
6) Siblings Scholarships:-
1. This fee concession applies to students whose Brother or Sister appears in IAGI.
2. Valid Student ID Card of the Existing Student, Address proof of the Siblings and Parents.
3. For the Twin discount the admission should take place in the same academic year.
Siblings & Twins (For all the admitted students)* Will get 5% of the Scholarship.
7) SC/ST Scholarship:-
1. Caste certificate to be submitted. In case of photocopy or print, it has to be attested by a gazetted officer.
2. Caste-based scholarship is applicable only for Karnataka students."
SC/ST Will get 10% of the Scholarship.
8) Others:-
1. The student is to produce a proper document of the claim.
2. Proof of disability with percentage for Disabled.
Scholarship for a person with Disabilities Will gets a 5% of the Scholarship.
Note:-1 All the above-mentioned scholarships are applicable for the first academic year only.
2 Above mentioned scholarship slabs is applicable only for IADC.
3 The student must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria to avail of the scholarship. Subject to verification and final approval.
4 All the required original documents are to be submitted with the scholarship application. And the same to be added to the student docket. Respective counselor has to maintain all records and approvals.
5 Academic Merit scholarship can be conbined with any one other eligible scholarship and subject to not exceeding 25% in total.
6 The scholarship must be applied before the last date of admissions (45 days from the results announcement), as after the admission process is over no scholarship applications will be entertained.
7 There are limited seats under the scholarship schemes which are applicable on a first-come basis.
8 * For the Twin discount the admission should take place in the same academic year.
9 Consultant Admissions not entitled for scholarships.
10 Scholarship application will be rejected, if the student has not paid the full fees or not submitted the original documents before the batch start date.
11 The above scholarship applicable for students who are taking admissions by full management fee only (Not applicable for CET, PGCET, & COMEDK fee structure)
12 Any deviation in offering Scholarships, COO/Chairman's approval required.
