Here are some of the scholarships available for MBA students:

1. Need Based Scholarship Scheme: Under this scheme, IIFT pays interest subsidy on educational loans for 27 months from the time the loan is taken from a bank. Students of the MBA (IB) full-time programme who have taken the loan and whose family income is less than INR 6.00 Lacs per year can apply under this scholarship.
2. New Scholarship Scheme (NSS): This scholarship covers ten percent of students with a scholarship amounting to twenty percent (20%) of the tuition fee in all “Full-Time/Regular” batches of the degree courses offered by IIFT. The scholarship will be given to 10% of the students admitted in the regular programs. The scholarship amount will be 20% of the Tuition fee for all. The criteria would be a “means-cum-merit” basis with 70% weightage to means and 30% weightage to merit i.e. total CGPA scored after completion of the program. It will be granted to those students who complete their full-time programme from IIFT and whose family income from all sources is less than INR 8 Lacs per annum. The upper ceiling of INR 8 Lacs is subject to revision. The scholarship will be disbursed to the students after the successful completion of the programme i.e. MBA (IB), MBA (BA), and MA (Eco.). IPM students will get the scholarship after completing their BBA and MBA. If the amount of the scholarship is less, then the balance amount will be payable.

The minimum cutoff for MBA at IIFT Kolkata varies from year to year and is determined by the student's category. The general category cutoff for IIFT Kolkata for the 2022 admission cycle was 42.6 in CAT. However, the expected cutoff for the 2023 exam cycle is between 115 and 120 out of a total of 300. A total of 108 companies visited the campus and many top recruiters visited the campus such as TATA Steel, Deloitte, Loreal, Flipkart among others. 

Similarly, the highest, average and median stipend offered was INR 4.40 lakh, INR 2.63 Lacs and INR 2.50 Lacs during summer placements 2022-2024 batch. A total of 100 companies and 36 new recruiters visited IIFT Kolkata campus. The stipend was offered for a period of two months.
