The modes of IIIT Kalyani admission are offline and online. Admission to various postgraduate and undergraduate courses is based on scores of entrance tests and merit. At the undergraduate level, the college offers four-year BTech courses to students. At the postgraduate level, the college offers two to three-year MTech programmes to students. Step 1: Register for the JEE Main exam then wait for the admit card.

Step 2: Appear for the exam and take part in the counselling round.

IIIT Allahabad accpets JEE Main score for admission to the BTech courses. As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4817 and 8428 for BTech. 

So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4800 and 9600 for the General ALL India category candidates.

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. The application fees for JEE Main is

• INR 1,000 (Male unreserved/OBC/EWS category)
• INR 800 (Female unreserved/OBC/EWS category)
• INR 500 (SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category)

Candidates have the option of paying the application fee online through credit/debit card and internet banking. The application form will not be considered submitted until the application fees is paid. Once the application fee are paid, candidates receive a confirmation email at their registered email address confirming the payment of fees.
