Faculty and infrastructure are not good.

Placements: Recent placements are not good, like only 20-25 placements have been there till now and around 28 lakhs is the highest package on-campus. If you're really joining this college, be ready to do everything on your own and focus for off-campus placements only. I don't know what will be in the future

Dissatisfied as we don't have our permanent campus.

Placements: Till now, very few of the students got placed in our institute; there are almost 240 students of both CSE and ECE, out of which only 20-30 got placed in the first round, in which the highest package was 24 LPA. Many students are doing internships and they have high chances of getting PPOs (per placement offer). That's why the number of placed students is also very low.

Review of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Ranchi.

Placements: The placement is overall good. There is recession time and placements are decreasing everywhere, even in the top IIT 's but it's good that we're aware of our placements. The highest package this year is 28 LPA off campus, with an average of 12 LPA and a median of 9 LPA. This year's placement has decreased if we compare it to the last year .

Would not recommend joining this college unless you are prepared to crack off campus.

Placements: The percentage of students placed last year was 70%. The highest package is 21 LPA. The lowest package is 5.5 LPA. The average package is 10 LPA. Top recruiters are startups like Hyperverge and Brandon. The percentage of students who got internships was 50%. Top roles offered are SDE, ML Intern, ML Engineer, Data Analyst.

Faculty are helpful; placement in 2024 is average; hostel is good.

Placements: In this year 2024, the placement rate has decreased. The highest package this year is 28 LPA. The average package this year is 12.15; the median package this year is 9.56 LPA. A total of 73 offers were made in 2024. The top recruiting companies are GOOGLE, AMAZON, MPL, and DELOITTE.

My view of the Indian engineering colleges.

Placements: The placements are good, they are up to the mark. Amazon, Google, and Facebook hire students from the Indian Institute of information technology, Ranchi. The highest package offered is 83 LPA which is very good in recession. But the future doesn’t look good as there are no great placements from the batch of 2023.

Good facilities are available.

Placements: The placement opportunities at IIIT Ranchi are the main attraction for its continuous growth, which is increasing continuously. The highest package offered in this course is around 70 lacs per annum, and the lowest package was offered around 16 lacs per annum.

Review of Indian Institute of Information Technology.

Placements: The placements are the only good thing in the college. Companies recruit a good number of students every year. The average package is around 15 LPA, which is pretty good for a college without a permanent campus. The placements have high scope of improving after getting a permanent campus.

Review of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Ranchi.

Placements: The placements have been really great as of 2023, but as per the reports, it has declined a bit in 2024. We can't say exactly how good or bad it is until official reports get published. The percentage of students getting placed is quite decent (above 90%). The percentage of students getting internships is average. Recently, a third-year student got an internship in Google.

Dissatisfied due to the absence of a permanent campus, faculty, good placements, and hostels.

Placements: In our course, a significant majority of students, around 85%, secured placements. The highest salary package in history was 83 LPA, while the lowest was between 6 to 7 LPA. Students were offered an average package of 16 LPA. Renowned companies such as Atlassian, Amazon, Google, Goldman Sachs, and MPL were among the top recruiters. Additionally, 60 to 65% of students got internships in predominant roles like Software Development Engineering.

Placements: 70 to 80 percent of students get placed in renowned companies such as Google, Microsoft and many more and also many students go for higher education form this course to get better opportunities. If we talk about the highest package then it was 82 Lacs per annum and the lowest package is 12 Lacs per annum.

Improving but is manageable.

Placements: This year, the placement was not as decent as it used to be due to the recession faced by our seniors. But still, the one who got placed got a decent package. Normally, students in their 2nd and 3rd years get internships. The highest on-campus offer was 28 LPA and the median was about 11–13 LPA.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, infrastructure, hostel facilities but dissatisfied with food.

Placements: About 85% of students were placed in CSE, and the highest package was offered by Atlassian, which is 83.38 LPA, an excellent figure for a new IIIT. The average was 17 LPA, and the minimum was 6-7 LPA. In terms of internships, a few students secured internships, and off-campus internships were available based on individual skills.

It is ultimately the value for money.

Placements: 90% of students are placed. The highest package offered to students in 2023 is 86 LPA and rest placements are going on. The top companies are Google, Amazon, and MPL. Our college students are residing in three different places in Ranchi because our college does not have a campus.

Our college is the best for hostel life and making great friends.

Placements: As the years pass, placement drives become more widespread. There will be progress in upcoming years. There is great growth in the average salary package for computer science and technology. There is no major improvement in ECE.

Join the college if you want a government degree. Better than various private colleges.

Placements: Since the first batch of our college will pass out in 2020, there is no record of any placements yet. But, as our mentor institute is NIT Jamshedpur, the chances of getting placed are very fair. There is yet no confirmation of whether the Training and Placement Cell of NIT Jamshedpur will allow the students of IIIT Ranchi to sit for placements, but it will be confirmed within 2018 year ending.
