Great place to study Journalism.
Placements: In my batch at IIMC, 75% of students were placed. 100% of students secured internships, including opportunities with companies like the Times of India for roles such as reporters.
Infrastructure: At IIMC, our course was held in modern classrooms, though there was no Wi-Fi. The library was small, and there were only a few computers. The hostels were clean and provided essential amenities. The mess and canteen served decent food, but there were no medical facilities, and no sports like basketball, cricket, or a gym were available.
Faculty: The IIMC faculty were experienced, knowledgeable, and supportive. The curriculum was relevant and industry-focused, preparing students well for media and communication roles. Semester exams were moderately challenging, with a high pass percentage of around 95%.
