A decent placement college with awesome faculty.

Placements: Around 90-95% students were placed in our college, the highest package offered was almost near 18-20 LPA as far as I can remember for our batch. We had a lot of reputed companies such as HDFC bank, ICICI Bank, Wipro and other such companies up for placements.

Faculty members are good but infrastructure and placement is average.

Placements: We are in 1st year right now but our seniors got decent placement. But till date, we have not got a summer internship. Most of my friends from different colleges got internship so as per my opinion placement in our college is average. Many big companies came for placement like HUL, HDFC, etc.

I mostly got what I paid for, but the institute needs to catch up to its competitors.

Placements: Above 90% of students get placed. The highest package offered is around 9 LPA, the lowest package offered is around 3 LPA, and the average package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Kantar, ICICI Bank, TCS, etc. Top roles offered are research manager, relationship manager, etc. The highest package offered in our course is around 9 LPA, the lowest package offered in our course is around 4 LPA, and the average package offered in our course is around 5 LPA. Almost 100% got an internship...

Placements and infrastructure can improve.

Placements: Mostly sales roles are offered for marketing people. IMRB and ICICI are top recruiters. The placement in our batch was not 100%, and relationship manager roles in BFSI topped the position that was on offer. There is complete internship assistance though with 100% placement during the summer internship.

Good MBA college with decent infrastructures and placements.

Placements: The placement scenario is pretty good considering that it brought quite a few good companies on campus. About 98% students got placed through campus placements. The highest CTC was around 10 LPA and the median was around the 6 lacs mark with 4.5 LPA being the lowest. Top companies to take part were IMRB, ICICI Bank, Mahindra, TCS etc. The internship also was nice with 100% getting placed for internships.

Review of Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management.

Placements: IISWBM is one of the best B grade MBA college in India. Around 96% of students got placed last year in 2019. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. Mostly the marketing specialisation students get good jobs with hefty salary package, but for finance, HR and analytics, jobs are more related to their field of study. Top recruiters are ICICI, Yes Bank, KPMG, Delloite, Spencers, Kantar IMRB, HDFC Bank, etc. Around 50% of roles offered to students are related to sales profile. The salary pack...

IISWBM stands first among the other B-Schools in India.

Placements: MBA (Day), which is the flagship course, offers pretty decent placements. There is a very active placement cell which involves both students and faculty members to look after the placements. The flagship course is worth the money because the ROI is met for a majority of the students. The average package offered was around 5 LPA to 5.5 LPA. In 2018, all the students who all met the college placement criteria, as well as the company placement criteria, have got placed. Amazon was the highest recru...

Placements are relatively good, but the infrastructure is poor.

Placements: Placements in the college are relatively good. Almost 95% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6.40 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA. Mostly, roles of management trainee are offered. All the students got an internship from the college, but most of the internships are without stipend. The college has an efficient placement cell.

Placements: The college provides decent placements and good ROI. The average salary package offered for marketing is 6 LPA, and for finance is 5.5 LPA. HR placements are decent. A good investment. Batch of 2019 will have average placements and facilities.

Placements: The placements offered are good, no doubt. Considering your investment, you get a good return. The average package offered is about 6 lacs per annum. More than 60% of the 2018 batch students have been placed already. The companies like Dabur, Khadims, Capital First, IMRB, Hyundai and Marico visit here for the placements.

Overall, I would rate IISWBM to be good with the slight improvements in the infrastructure.

Placements: The placements on the campus are relatively good. On an average, 90% of the students get placed every year with an average package of 6-6.5 LPA. Many of the reputed MNCs come for the placements every year. ROI is good when you are comparing with an investment of 6 lakhs for the course.

Good placements and a lovely environment.

Placements: I am a pass out from this college. I secured my placement this June. Companies like HCL, Accenture, Hero, HDFC, etc. came for recruitment. The average package offered is close to 5 lakh. It has improved from the previous year. The internship process was good and the companies providing stipends of around 20000 also came to hire interns.

Dissatisfied with the placement cell.

Placements: The placements were ok. The placement officer was pathetic but overall companies were positive in their approach. The placement cell was partial but good companies visited the campus such as Philips, etc. The placement officers are highly partial with the opportunities that come.

It's the oldest Management College, in entire India, which is having a 60 years+ legacy of yielding some of the nation's finest graduates. Under the umbrella of Calcutta University, it's itself a brand which has not been in focus since many years due to lack of advertisement. Brand names like ITC, Nestle, Coke, ACC, Land Mark group, TCI, Exide etc. are long associated with this alma mater.
