For doing Diploma it is a great college .
Placements: Percentage of students getting placed is not that much but considering our course which is Diploma it is comparatively good and okay. The highest package for our branch is 4lpa and the lowest is 3lpa. Top recruiting companies are hindalco jsw Aditya birla Jindal. The percentage of students getting internship is 50% which is nice and good also.
Infrastructure: Actually the infrastructure of our college is great but for our course it is bad. Actually the truth is that our Diploma classes are conducted in the old building of our campus which condition is very bad. But one thing for sure that the facilities as well as the faculty members is above average for us. But we do not have Wi-Fi LAN etc. But yes library is common to all. So that is a great thing. Then coming to hostels. It's infrastructure is very good as well as it's food. Medical facilities sports games are also great.
Faculty: Our college is an autonomous which has it's own independent exam system. Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Quality is best also. The course curriculum is totally relevant which makes us fully industry ready by it's field practical labs, etc. Sem exams are also easy because of the study quality.

It is a good college for all-around development.
Placements: In our college, more than 65% of students are allowed to sit in placements. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA to 8 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Tata, Nalco, Jindal, Bhusan, Hindalco, etc., visit our campus.
Infrastructure: IGIT provides a good all-around atmosphere with 4 boys' hostels and 2 girls' hostels. Each hostel has its canteen where a three-course meal and snacks are provided along with Wi-Fi and clean rooms. Each hostel has its study room and library.
Faculty: Teachers in this college are extremely helpful with high knowledge skills and great vision towards projects. Exams are relatively hard but they become easy because of the teaching quality. Almost 80% of students pass with excellent academic results.

There are good teachers, and campus placements are good, but only about 2 to 3 companies visit.
Placements: About 80% of the students got placed from our course. The highest salary package offered is 60 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 30 LPA. The average salary package offered is 50 LPA. Tata Power is the top company which visits here for our course. About 30% of students got internships from our course in Siemens company. In internships, I can gain a hands-on, practical understanding of engineering and the specialised industries through work experience. Some internships are offered for a year in industries, which provide further an opportunity to improve our skillset and contacts.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good classrooms, Wi-Fi, a library, labs and books facilities. There is a neat and clean hostel, and the canteen is good. There are food facilities and a hospital, and sports and games facilities are provided to us. Our college provides many sports like cricket, football, baseball, etc.
Faculty: In our college, there are the best-qualified teachers because they help us with any doubt in our classroom. They teach about the industry and how to do group study. They teach us how to attend any campus placement. Good communication skills are provided by our teachers.

This is a good college, but I think students should go for a BTech after their mains, not a diploma.
Placements: Although this college is better for B.Tech. students, diploma students also get placements. 30–40% of students got placed this year in different companies. Some recruiting companies include Hindalco, Tata Power, JSW, JSL, etc. The highest package given by Hindalco is INR 3 LPA. The minimum package is INR 1.8–2.0 LPA.
Infrastructure: The library is good. It provides most of the technical books, which are very useful. Wifi inside the study hall provides an average network speed so that students can complete their basic work and assignments. The hostel provides good and healthy food. I will give classrooms an average rating. Mess and canteens are also good. There is also a large playground where students do their physical activities and play games like cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, etc.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and well qualified. If you ask your doubts even outside of class time, they will help you as much as possible. I will recommend that you keep good relations with teachers; they are friendly. When you complete the course, you will be ready for industry. Semester exams are strict, which is obviously good for students.
Other: I chose this course because I couldn't get a good rank in the JMS entrance exam for BTech. The best thing about this course is that you will be able to apply most of your technical and practical knowledge. Lab classes should improve a little. Every year, cultural events are organized on campus. The campus environment is excellent. The college also provides scholarship facilities.

I would recommend students to join this college.
Placements: Approximately 70% of students got placed in our course. The course fee was affordable because this college was a government college. It was a good college compared to private high-ranking colleges. The top recruiting companies were Tata Power, Jindal Steel Plant, TCS, and Mindtree. Many students got internships at National Thermal Power Plants and MNCs. Our college provided all practical classes and projects as per this course.
Infrastructure: Hostels were very clean. Free Wi-Fi was available. Practice room was provided. Computer room was also available. Playground was available. There was a temple on our campus. ATM was also available. The canteen provided four-time meals at reasonable prices. Non-vegetarian food was served 5 days in a week, and the sitting arrangement was very good. The cleaning is done properly.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, knowledgeable, and well-qualified. The teaching techniques were good. The course curriculum was relevant. They also provide practical and theoretical knowledge. The pass percentage was 64%.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. Many programs and fests are conducted in this college.

IGIT is a government institution that provides good education to its students.
Placements: I have already completed my diploma in the metallurgy branch and most of the companies, like Tata Steel, JSPL Angul and JSW visited college campuses for us. The minimum percentage for eligibility for the campus is 60% for general and OBC students and 50% for SC & SS students. The average salary package offered was around 3 LPA. Almost 60% of the students were placed with different companies.
Infrastructure: IGIT provides a healthy environment for study and natural environment. There is a Wi-Fi facility available. The hostel environment is good. A healthy diet is provided to the students. There is a large stadium for playing different games like cricket, football, and kabaddi.
Faculty: Faculty are so friendly to everyone. Most of the teachers are highly educated and explain very well. Practical knowledge is crucial, as we were taught at the time. The semester which is held in our college is tough because they are more strict about the examinations. Teachers at that college are so helpful for everyone.
Other: My friend recommended this course to me. Then I went to college, I knew about the course and that campus recruitment was also very good in that department. Most of the good companies come to the campus.

With 59% marks in class 12th and a 21 percentile in JEE Main with a rank of 11 Lakhs, getting admission to IGIT Sarang might be difficult. IGIT Sarang generally requires higher JEE Main ranks and better academic performance. You can still try applying and checking if they have any specific admission
