Placement opportunities are good, accompanied by a low course fee structure
Placements: Placements for mechanical engineering at our college are good. Companies like L&T, PPL, Adani, JK Paper, etc., visit our college for placement drives. The average salary package offered ranges from 3.5 to 4.5 LPA. Role offered is as GET in most of the companies. Placement drives are currently ongoing, I am unaware of the exact placement percentage. Around 50-60% of students from the mechanical branch are placed in reputed organizations.
Infrastructure: From hostel facilities to food quality and the courses, everything is better compared to many private colleges. The 4-year course, along with hostel accommodations, is very affordable. Wi-Fi facilities provided are good and fast enough.
Faculty: Overall, it's a good experience. In our college life, we will gain wide exposure to the field of robotics, which is enjoyable. We will have plenty of time to prepare for other competitive exams along with our semester studies.

    IGIT, the hub of engineering.
Placements: Nearly about 40 percent of the students are getting placed from this institute. The highest package is about 8-10 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiters are Adani, Wipro, Dalmia, Cognizant, and many more. Many students do internships from the 2nd year onwards. To name a few: Sail, Indian Railways, Sail, Nalco, NTPC, and many more.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure need to be improved. Still, the department is lacking some of the equipment and laboratory materials. In addition to this, the hostel has good infrastructure. The food quality of the hostel is also good. Basic facilities are also available, including medical facilities along with an ambulance service 24/7.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and approachable to their students. The faculty members are also friendly and helpful in nature. This course curriculum is relevant to the students in upskilling them to modern technology and advancement. It makes students ready for industrial management and provides technical knowledge in their respective fields.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in this field. I also want to contribute to the betterment of my surroundings. The institute is good in all aspects. Students can explore any field or clubs. Some clubs and societies are there in the institute like photography, videography, robotics, dance, literature, and many more.

IGIT is the best engineering college.
Placements: Approximately 50% students get placed in companies like Adani Group, L&T, TRL, Collins Aerospace, Visa Steel, JK Paper, Dalmia Cement, AMNS, MSP Steel, Mahaveer Ferro Alloy, and software firms like TCS and Tech Mahindra. The salary package is 7.5 LPA, and 2.5 is the lowest. The average is 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities include Library, smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, playground, auditorium, primary hospital with ambulance, ATM, etc. The hostel facility is available for both boys and girls with proper food in the canteen. We get hostels on the basis of merit, but sufficient rooms are not available for all students in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but the way of teaching is not appropriate. Along with that, they need to properly study before teaching in class so that they can easily teach students. The course is not sufficient to make students ready for industry performance. Exam level is moderate.
Other: I am interested in this course because want to know about machines, mechanism as well as engineering study.

Top recruiting companies like Adani, Visa Steel, PPL Wipro, TCS, l&t etc. Many students get internships in Nalco, HALL, Tata Steel, RSP etc.

Simple college but not worth money.
Placements: According to the 2023 graph, 75% of students were placed. The lowest package was 3 lpa and the highest was 10 lpa. Vedanta was the highest recruitment company. All students do internships at IOCL or Pradeep. The students are offered various job facilities. However, more companies need to come to this college.
Infrastructure: The facilities at this college are good but sometimes harsh. The classrooms are good, but the condition of the labs is not alright and needs to be upgraded. The library is very small and could be made bigger. The hostel is good, but the food can be improved. All other facilities could also be improved.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are knowledgeable and have good teaching methods. The course curriculum is relevant, but the semester exams are quite difficult, especially the math paper. The time between exams needs to be increased, and the teachers need to make the questions more appropriate for the students' level.
Other: I chose this course on the basis of my JEE rank. I could have gotten a better college but due to COVID, everything fell apart. But I am satisfied with the course I have chosen.
