Intern vs reality, let's see what's the truth.
Placements: Ya, it was pretty much better. I really like it, and its course and curriculum are better than any other private colleges. Many other companies visit our college, like TCS, Lenovo, Zomato, and Microsoft. Really, it's worth visiting our college. I will suggest you.
Infrastructure: Ya, classrooms are the best with digital smart boards, with the latest labs. Teachers are quite friendly, and libraries are a must. I suggest coming here. The mess and canteen are good, and hostels are also good with good food. I am really grateful that I am in these.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are well-qualified, and they teach very well. I really like it. The course and COs and LOs are well-created, and really, it's too good. Semester exams are good; they actually test your core knowledge, and really, it's worth it. The pass percentage is 88%.
Other: The batch was always at that level as expected. It's full of a competitive environment, and most people want to compete with others. Scholarships are also provided as per their performance in their 12th and 10th.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2026

I'm satisfied with the college.
Placements: Around 90% of students got placed from the university. The average salary package offered is 6.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is approximately 50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte, etc. Roles offered are technical, management, and core job.
Infrastructure: Top-class infrastructure, library, and classrooms are available. Labs have the latest equipment. Hostel infrastructure is good but the food mess is quite okay. Ambulance service is available 24*7 on campus. Sports and games equipment are good. College has its own stadium.
Faculty: Teachers of our college are very helpful and well-qualified. They guide very well. Course curriculum is relevant for campus selection and helpful for industry. Semester exams are not so much difficult. Teachers explain very well.
Other: I have always wanted to go into the core field of engineering, which is why I chose a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Overall, everything is good.

Satisfied with the faculty members, okay placements, and infrastructure.
Placements: This information is for 2024 batch passouts. The percentage shown of selection is always around 80–90%, the reason being that they want you to have an 8.5 CGPA+ in 7-semester aggregate to sit for good company placement and for Microsoft and Amazon-type companies, you need 9+. If there are still more students, they will shortlist you based on your 12th grade percentage. The highest package is 42 LPA from Microsoft. People also get 20–30, but less than 10. Most are below 20, and all have an average of 4.5 LPA. About internships, around 100–200 companies come. This year's batch was definitely affected by the recession but it still managed to call around 100–200 companies. The top roles offered are SDE, consultant, assistant engineer, few for Testers and analyst.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is okay. Classrooms are cleaned every day and have AC in each classroom. The library too has AC but recently rules were made that you can't access Wi-Fi in the library on the 3rd floor and are only allowed with laptops and no phones. A medical facility is there and an ambulance is available 24*7. The quality of food is okay. For sports, you have a basketball court, a volleyball court and a cricket net. Even Kabaddi is there. And for indoors, you've got chess, carrom, and table tennis.
Faculty: I can't say all teachers are well qualified. But there are some teachers who're IIT-qualified, NIT qualified and Ph.D. holders. Teachers who've got knowledge teach well but there are some who just read from their notes and make us write. So don't expect much; keep your YouTube ready. The college is open from Monday to Saturday. And there are two exams: one midterm and the other end term. Apart from that, you'll have quizzes. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I had other options. The main reason for choosing CSE at this college is the timing. It's only for 4-5 hours for the 1st year and I heard it goes up to 6 hours in the 2nd year. But every day, this is to the higher and lower ends; you'll have 3 hours of class a day. The best thing about this course is its curriculum; it's up to par, or, if I should say, above average. I wish they removed 12th subjects from the first year itself. Keep math as an important letter but remove physics and keep a core subject in CSE. Events happen, but no fests.

It is a really good college.
Placements: Placements cell of SOA is well-connected and active, connecting students with top recruiters. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA and the average salary package offered ranges from 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Top recruiters are Amazon, Microsoft, Nvidia, Cognizant, Deloitte, Accenture, and Tech Mahindra.
Infrastructure: Institute of ITER is modern and well-equipped to support both academic and extracurricular activities. It has spacious, air-conditioned classrooms, projectors, and smart boards. There is a central library with a large collection of books and journals Jouranls. Our college has seperate hostels for boys and girls with adequate facilities.
Faculty: Most faculty members hold advanced degrees (PhD or equivalent) in their respective fields. Teachers are experienced in both academic and industry-oriented roles. Curriculum is updated regularly to include emerging trends and technologies in the field of engineering.
Other: Many students select courses like B. Tech at ITER due to its good placements records, curriculum, and well-established industry connections.

Placements are good, and the college is valuable for money.
Placements: 90% percentage of students placed in this university. The average package is 6.5 Lacs, and the highest package is approximately 50 Lacs. The lowest is 3.5 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. All types of jobs, technical, management, and core jobs.

Review about my college experience.
Placements: In my course, 75% of students were placed. The highest package is around 12 Lacs, while the lowest is 5 Lacs, with an average of 7 Lacs. TCS, Wipro, and Microsoft are the top recruiters for my course. Almost 80% of students get internships every year in various start-ups.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the library and every hostel, and there is wired Wi-Fi in every lab. The hostel quality is average, but the cost is a bit high. Unfortunately, the food quality is not good, but the rooms are average in size and are cleaned daily. However, there are very few sports facilities available.
Faculty: The teachers here are super skilled with tons of experience, always there to help us out when needed. The teaching quality is pretty good. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. The semester exam isn't too tough, but you do need to study to pass. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I chose this course because computer technology is super popular right now, and it's easy to land a job with this qualification. If the course focused more on practical aspects rather than theory, it would definitely be more beneficial. Unfortunately, there are hardly any fests and events in this college.
