Everything about our college is the best.

Placements: Placements in college were very good this year. Our seniors got jobs with salary packages of 12 lacs per annum in companies like Vedanta, TCS, Wipro, Tata Bhushan. Most of the students got placed in the IT sector. About internships, a good number of students get opportunities to go for internships, and there is a placement cell through which most of the companies come and recruit students. But the sad thing is that stipend is not provided by the college.

A college with poor infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: Placements in the college are nil. There are no efforts from the authority regarding placements. There are absolutely no placements offered. They are ruining students' careers. There is no proper utilisation of students' money. There is no training provided for students regarding placements. There is no seriousness in authorities regarding students career, and also no action is taken related to it.

An excellent college providing quality education. Teachers are well-qualified, placements are good.

Placements: I am in the 3rd year. Placements in our college are good compared to other government engineering colleges in Odisha. 30% to 40% of the students got placed on the campus. Although our training and placement cell is developing year by year, it will be excellent in the coming years. Every student from our college gets an internship which improves their practical knowledge. Many reputed companies recruit the students of our college by conducting campus placements.

Placements: Placements are extremely good, Companies like Cisco, SAP Labs, Qualcomm, Microsoft, Accenture, Aricent, TCS, Fluor Daniel etc. Come to campus and offer packages as high as 15-20 LPA. The placement cell is run by the faculty, students only help in coordination.

Overall, the college is good for technical education, especially in undergraduate programmes.

Placements: Companies like TCS, Bhushan, Vedanta, SKF etc., visit our college for placements. TCS is the mass recruiter. Every year, around 70-80% of students get placed in both the on-campus and off-campus placement drives. The average salary package offered is 5.0 LPA.

IGIT driving a change in itself.

Placements: The placement scenario for the years 2010-12 had been the best with over 90% placed. Somehow with growing years, the placements have taken a slight dip. IGIT being a government college, and having an isolated location, on-campus recruitments have been considerably low for the previous few years with TCS as a mass recruiter which recruits over 100 students every year. For the core branches, Vedanta has been the main recruiter. Apart from the on-campus opportunities, the college provides a large n...

IGIT is trying to bring a tremendous change.

Placements: Placements are quite good in other branches like electronics and telecommunication engineering and computer science engineering. In the previous year (2017-2018), over 20% to 35% of the students were selected by companies like TCS, Vedanta, Bhusana Steel Plant, etc. The average salary package offered was in between 3.16 LPA to 8 LPA.

Igit has it's own uniqueness, with good teaching faculty, average placement and a great surrounding.

Placements: Placements are avarage for a government college like this. TCS is the major recruit then followed by TECH MAHINDRA and VEDANT. BHUSANA also take few number of student. From the strength of 600 students from a batch 300 are unplaced. With the increase in the seats the improvement in the placement is slow. This is not how the placement should be in a government college of 30 year old.

Absolutely satisfied because of teaching, teachers, environment etc.

Placements: This college is one of the best colleges, I have ever visited. Here I experienced a lot of challenging waves that made me more stronger. Many companies like TCS, VEDANTA etc. Came for placements. Many of us also got placed on reputed companies. It provided us the moral support for which we are at such stage. My seniors too got placed in many renounced companies. Now the institute has become autonomous. So there will be more and more development in the coming years. All the best for those who wou...

College is only good for friendship and enjoying. Not suitable for study purpose.

Placements: Our college has placement cell, which is operated by our college, but the sad thing is that the student's can't take so much advantage of this. Mainly two companies come here named TCS (TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES) and VEDANTA. TCS takes average 80 students total from all branches. And almost 30-40 students from mechanical, metallurgy and chemical branches are placed by VEDANTA. Beyond that many more small companies and startup companies come every year, but takes very less students.

A nice Government college with good placement and fun.

Placements: The placement was overall good in my batch. 45 out 60 students in CSE got placed on campus I. e 75% in CSE. And all got placed if we include off-campus thanks to our HOD. If we talk about other branches the placement was not as good as CSE. TCS followed by campzini and many other mid level MNCs visited our campus. The average salary offered by IT industry was 3 Lacs. The placement of our senior was better than us I. e 80% in CSE and 55% overall.

Satisfied with college but need lots of improvements.

Placements: Placement for M.Tech students is very rare. If u are in computer Science you can expect TCS to hire you. For mechanical you can attend Vedant and Bhusan Placements. For other branches you need to contact to the training and placement cell of the college. Now though it is autonomous you may expect good placements.
