Placements: Placements were nice, it was almost 90% for my batch and the senior batches. Many companies were arriving for placements in core company as well as software company. While TCS is the only company giving placements to larger number of students every year.
Placements: 70% of students were pleased & got job. The highest salary was 40000 per month offed. & some of students got offered 20000 per month. The students were offered to assistant executive positions & some supervisor. This year 90%percent of students are internship from college.
Placements: Poor. Most of the students of my batch are still hunting for job. Only a handful from Computer Science branch were place and selected few from other branches. The scenario was same with our seniors. Most of the students who were placed erred taken by mass recruiters like TCS and Tech Mahendra.
Placements: Placement scenario is not good. Only 2 companies have visited this year for on campus placement and one of them is a software industry. Most of the students are unplaced still now. The highest package is 6 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Only 15 percent students are placed.
Placements: The placement is really very good. My self placed in TCS in year 2016 with package 3.4lcs and currently I am working in TCS. Teachers are very much worried for the future of students and they are always in touch of the companies and every year around 10-13 companies definitely come to our college. Placement Department also informs students regarding offline campus for those who fail to grab their chance in college campus.
Placements: The college provides placements at well-reputed companies like TCS, Vedanta Jindal, Bhushan and many other start-up companies, and exposure to many off-campus drives is also provided. Being a reputed college, its name adds an advantage to the resume of its students.
Placements: Our previous placement records have been reasonably good, but I won't say they are excellent. Esteemed recruiters of the college include Infosys, TCS, Vedanta, Patni computers, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd., Larsen and Turbo Ltd and many more, but for students who graduated in the year 2017, has poor recruitment. Approximately 50% of the students got placed. Going by details, TCS (70-80 students got placed, average package3.2 LPA), Tech Mahindra (around 30 students got placed, annual package-3 LPA)...
Placements: Most of the students did an internship in many industries. The placement in mechanical engineering and civil engineering is poor in comparison to the other branches. The placement in the core is poor. Every year, about 20%-30% of the students got placed in the software companies and about 5%-10% in the core companies.
Placements: There are a few core placements. By few, I mean 2-3 for our batch like Vedanta, JK Paper, Pixlar, but there were 3-4 IT companies which were recruiting like TCS, Tech Mahendra, Process Map, etc. The highest salary was 8.5 LPA, and the average salary was 3.5 lacs per annum. There is 30%-40% of the campus placements. The placement cell was not up to the mark.
Placements: Now, I am studying M.Tech at IGIT in 1st year. We are waiting for our placement, but according to the history of my college, several students are appointed at a well-established company with a handsome amount of salary package. TCS, Wipro, NALCO, Aditya Birla Group, UltraTech, Infomatica, NTPC, etc., are the companies facilitated our college.
Placements: From the year 2014, the placements here is really poor. In our batch, 25% of the students get placed. The only software company that comes here is the TCS. The package is average with 3.5 LPA in 2017, Vedanta limited came with the package of 7 LPA. The problem is for the core branches. Here, 95% of the students are from the electronics and computer science branches and get placed in various small software companies. This college doesn't provide any internship programs. So, there is no question o...
Placements: The placement cell suffers under a laid back placement officer who neither takes the initiative nor lets students take the lead. Thanks to a few resourceful professors, we have IT mass-recruiters visiting. By the end of the year, only 30%-40% students get jobs.
Placements: The placement in this college is good. Some students of our batch got placed in TCS, Vedanta, Wipro, etc. Students are doing well in the campus placements in our college, but we can further improvise the placement in our college. I will rate our college 7 out of 10 for placement.
Placements: The placements were decent in 2015 batch and also in 2014 batch. All due to responsible student secretary and TnP cell who took toil to invite the companies. The companies like TCS, JSL, IOTL, PPL, Bhusan Steel, Vedanta ltd, etc. visited the campus. The placements depend on how many companies are invited and how much work has been done to bring them in. Forming a committee an appointing the students from all the branches to monitor the process from the start of the prefinal year is the best way ...
Placements: The placement of my college and the branch are good. We got 100% placements from my batch. Many types of MNC and IT companies, as well as the core companies for the core branches, visited our college for the placements. The companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Jindal, and many MNCs, as well as startups, come to our campus placement.
Placements: The average placements are coming from the software. A few core companies are visiting the campus. If you work hard, then you will get a good job. But according to our seniors, our college provides many off-campus drives to get the placements, but in that case, the competition is high. Overall, our college provides the average placements in the final year.
Placements: The placements in the college is a very good. Many students other than the core branches got a very good placement. The seniors were also describing the humble behaviour of the interviewers and also the placements were good in the research type of placements. Also, you can continue with the M.Tech to pursue higher studies and a part-time job in the college.
Placements: Placement is quite good but doesn't expect for high packaged placements. If you are a core branch student, then only you can expect higher package or else forget about any placements on the campus. Our seniors were quite lucky to have the on-campus placements, but in our batch, there is a lot of difference.
Placements: This year, the result of the placement is not published yet but many reputed companies came for interviews. Our seniors also did well in that. Companies like TCS, Patni Computers, Infosys and Larsen & Toubro Ltd. come for placements. An average Of 80-90% students got placed. The minimum salary package is about 2.5 lakhs per annum and the maximum is about 4.5 to 6 lakhs.
Placements: The placement cell was paralyzed at our time. Only TCS was the mass recruiter which visited the campus. Vedant took a few students with a good CTC. Later on, BSPL visited and recruited about 30 students with a very low CTC. There was a very low scope of off-campus and the authority doesn't take responsibility for recruitment. The highest package was 5.5 LPA and the average salary was 3 LPA.
