Amazing college for the students to study

Placements: The placements were good for our seniors. Minimum 25% of the students were placed in different companies. The highest and the lowest salaries offered were 15,000 and 10,000. The average salary offered was 10,000. There are different types of companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, L&T, etc. which visited the campus. My experience with the faculty was very good.

The average salary offered was Rs. 10,000. Different types of companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. have visited the campus in the past. Different types of managerial roles were offered to the students. Minimum 90% of students got an internship from the college.

If you really want to succeed, don't waste your valuable time and energy here.

Placements: The placements aren't satisfactory. Only 50- 60% students got placed. The highest package was around 7lpa and the lowest was 2.5lpa, with the average salary being somewhere between 3-4lpa. Considering only the well-known names, TCS and Vedanta came for the campus recruitment drive. Talking about the internships, a very small number of students got internships(with stipends). The students also went for paid internships.

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: The placements were good for the past year students of this college. 20% of students were placed in different colleges. The highest salary was 20,000 and the lowest salary was 12,000. Different companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys etc. and many companies visited in the past. Basically leadership roles were offered to the students. Not fit for placements but academic level is very good.

Placements: Placements were fine 3 years ago but due to changes in corporate policies, college placements are down. IT firms are the only recruiters on campus. 70% of our batch was placed. Highest salary was 4.2 lakhs offered by PPL. There is no strict internship policy followed.

Somehow satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: Placements were good for the previous year students. 10% of the students were placed in the previous year due to lack of concentration. Highest was offered as rupees 30,000. Lowest salary was rupees 12,500. TCS and Infosys are the companies that visited in the past. Good students were placed in the past at superior roles. 85% students got internships in different companies.

Review: I.G.I.T Sarang Campus tour.

Placements: Basically, the college is located in the village area, so due to lack of communication and transportation, the placement campus opportunity is less. The only mass recruiter of the college is TCS. The other campuses are Vedanta and Bhushan Steel Limited. In placement category, the college has a poor performance.

Dissatisfied because of faculty and most importantly poor placements.

Placements: Overall, the placement here is quite less then average. Only computer science and electronics branches have that average placement every year and all other branches have nearly nil placements. Here, the one and only company that comes is TCS for which the placement cell of our college feels very proud of. On comparison to last year, this year, the placement was very poor. Last year, TCS recruited nearly 80% students in C.S. and E.T.C. branches but this year, this count falls to less than 50% and...

TCS, Infosys and more companies visited. 90% students got an internship. The highest and lowest stipend offered were rupees 50,000 and 7,000 respectively per year.

A lot of potential and a strong history but needs substantial improvement.

Placements: Placements were not so good in the year we passed out. It improved in the later years but that substantially. The lack of interest from the admin and the absence of a proper student placement body hampers the situation. The roles offered were mostly software jobs with very few options for core jobs. There were hardly any internships for the students unless from an effort from the student's end. TCS is the only savior in this dire situation.

Placements: The placement in our college was good. Around 90% of the students got placed on campus drive (both on-campus & off-campus drive). The college provides good learning in all the domains of engineering. The faculty has a good knowledge of their subjects. The placements are also good but the infrastructure can improve. The labs can also have new equipments and devices. There can be latest equipments so that the students can gain practical knowledge about various industry related work.

This being a government college, we were not able to depend much on the faculty. And most of the faculty were hired on a contractual basis. It is a great place to make friends. Hostel life was cool. Placements were decent. Infrastructure needs to be developed. All in all, I would give it 3 out of 5.

It is a college with best civil engineering faculty and located in a serene environment. The college is a bit far away from the city, but that’s the most exciting part where you can enjoy your engineering life with your friends. Most of the faculty members live within the college. The job placements are not so bad either, last year 200/300 students got placed in companies like TCS, CAPGEMINI, NOVEL Software, ARVEE , etc. and the college holds national and international fest every year conducted ...

Wonderful ambience and for sure a place that would give you enough memories to cherish throughout your life. My experience of a 4 year stay was really nice and I got to develop many skills from basic branch related knowledge to skills for organizing events. All in all the best 4 years of my life.
