A good college for a hard-working student who understands the value of education.

Placements: The placement scenario during covid/post covid had a great fall as compared to the offline placement which occurred with exams (aptitude and viva etc. ). As usual IT companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. Hires students with 3-4lakhs per annum wala package, in which all the meritorious students from all the branches attempt for getting a job. Some extra talented students from core branches like electrical, civil, and mechanical bag the good packages like 8 LPA in companies like Vedantha, Tata p...

Hostel life is the best thing that happened to me here.

Placements: In our time, it was a COVID pandemic. So there were a few placements. Most of them are off-campus.

This is the best college among 7 government engineering college.

Placements: Around 80% of students are placed. Other branches' placements are not good. Still, our training and placements department working on it to bring more placements. The lowest salary package offered ranges from 3.6 LPA to 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. But students always try to get off-campus and product-based company placements also to join a start-up company. Common recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, Lemon VB, etc. Internships are provided t...

Review of Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology.

Placements: 20% of students got placed in the production branch. I am not so certain about the packages, but I think the highest package is above 12 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package is about 6 Lacs per annum. Lots of companies recruit students in our college, and some of them are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini etc. Very few students got internships from my course. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc., come here. I don't know much about core companies.

Everything here is good, but the college needs to improve its placements.

Placements: Till now, the highest package offered in 2022 is 8 LPA. I think only 20 to 30% of students get placed. The college has good campus, infrastructure and environment. The hostel is good. The placements are below-average, and the college needs to work on its placements.

I had an unforgettable college life at IGIT Sarang.

Placements: The placements are not given priority. Only you have to put effort into getting placed off-campus. I worked hard and got placed in TCS which was an off-campus placement drive. So, if you are ready to make efforts on your own, then the college is decent.

The college is up to the mark and is like a normal government college should be.

Placements: IGIT, Sarang, has a placement rate of 100%, not only for our branch (mechanical branch) but also other branches. In the mechanical engineering field, we really have to concern about basic salaries. The lowest salary package offered is around 1 LPA to 2 LPA, whereas the highest salary package offered is more than 20 LPA to 25 LPA depending on your knowledge, placement companies and origin of companies. L&T and TCS are the main recruiting companies for our college, but many more companies recruit ...

Nice classrooms bad labs.

Placements: Admissions on this college is based on JEE Mains or OJEE score. Internships are provided in 2nd and 3rd year. Mostly tech companies come for placement like TCS, wippro, etc. Almost every student can get a internship. Teaching in civil engineering is average and the labs good, and their is every facility you need.

It would have been better if there would have been more hostels.

Placements: Placements in our college are good enough and about 70% of the students get placed. Nalco and other such companies come with a great salary package for placements. We get internships and get trained in these companies to get a better experience for fieldwork. Our college supports us wholeheartedly.

Overall, IGIT is a good technical college to learn and achieve your goal.

Placements: There is a total of 124 students here. Right now, I'm studying mechanical because I particularly like this field. We don't have any placement here, and we were just personally sending our designs and works to the firms so that we could get some internships. Our college isn't doing anything for us. It's like we are only paying to the college, and we are doing everything on our own. Our college is not making any efforts.

Placements: Almost 80% students are placed every year in on-campus and off-campus with a very promising package. Average package ranges between 600k -70 thousand. Students are placed in companies like TCS, Tata, wipro etc. Internships are offered too from some top companies in both online and offline mode.

Overall, IGIT tests your capabilities and makes you industry-ready.

Placements: The majority of our seniors got placed. Many students got placed through the on-campus, and many students got placed from off-campus. Many students got placed in big service-based companies like TCS and Accenture, and some students joined new startups such as Net-Tantra, etc. Our college wants us to do internships, but they do not show us the right path. Many students are doing internships on their own research and get themselves in some companies.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of the placement system.

Placements: The campus placement programme in this college was very bad. Around 20% of students get selected from campus, and also teachers don't focus on the on-campus selection programme. Teachers are helpful only for the class programme and not for the campus selection.
