Mumbai University Institute of Distance and open Learning -MU IDOL is a distance education department in Mumbai University. 

For the MBA programme the eligibility criteria is as follows:

The candidate must possess a Bachelor degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum score of 50% for the general category and 45% for the reserved categories. 

NMIMS is a recognised university with great ranking and accreditation. And they do provide placements assistance even in the distance education front. NMIMS makes sure that someone studying from distance doesn't get anything different or less than what a regular student is getting.
