Placements: The highest package offered by companies for this course is approximately Rs 8,00,000 per year, while the average package stands at around Rs 6,00,000 per year. Although the college provides internships to students with a stipend, it doesn't offer them specifically for this course.

It's not a great experience but that's fine.

Placements: The placement percentage in our college is 60%–75%, and the package varies each year based on the industry requirement; the same for our year was INR 8,00,000, which was the highest package and INR 5,00,000, which was the lowest package. The worst part of this college is that not all the students get placed on our campus, because of which students fear taking admission.

A good course, provided it's a side course. It should not be the only course you take.

Placements: Almost every person who pursues the course is placed in a position with a decent salary package. The highest salary package is between INR 4-5 LPA, and the lowest is INR 2-3 LPA. Accenture, Amazon, Tata, and a few private banks are the major recruiters. Around 80% of students interned, with the majority working in banks. Accountant, advisor, manager, etc. are the top roles offered.

Very much satisfied with good education and knowledge provided by the college.

Placements: The college provides the best placements by bringing in many industries and firms for campus interviews. They help students to get placed in many big firms. The university takes classes for placement activities, so the student gets an idea about it. Many students got opportunities from these activities.

I am satisfied with the college, a great institution to enlighten your life.

Placements: Nearly 50 to 60% of the people were placed in the campus interview itself. More than 80% were placed outside and many people rejected the campus placements because of the low package. The highest package was something around 5 LPA and the lowest around 2.5 LPA.

Review of University of Madras, Institute of Distance Education.

Placements: The placements from this college are not much impressive as this is a distance education unit. Hence the salary packages offered are not good, and still, it can provide placements with a salary of about Rs. 20,000 per month. Many courses are provided by the college.

There is a really good infrastructure here.

Placements: I wrote first semester exams in correspondence in this college and got a good result. I am not totally sure about my classmates' results, but I think 98% of them got passed the first-semester exams. University of Madras has been a well-known college since 1857. I think just as per its reputation, most of the students got placed in good companies.

I am satisfied as a working person, and I completed the MBA.

Placements: There are no placements for distance education. No top companies visit here for recruiting. In the post-graduation course, you can easily get placed as mid-management in any company with respect to your experience.

It is the oldest and best known college for distance education.

Placements: Any student pursuing professional studies like CA, CMA, CS, etc., shall prefer taking admission through distance education and the University of Madras is the oldest and best known for distance education. But I believe the placements are above average. I got an internship through the university. The college offers internships at various mid-sized business firms. The salary packages offered to a student might depend on their merit and also the skills they possess.
