Lacks a good size campus or ground, The first thing one is sure to notice when he/she enters the campus of the college is the impressive academic building. However, something about which students often crib is that the campus is small as compared to others, games and sports facilities are negligible, college infrastructure is poor, but teaching & placement are good, Very less companies come and recruit with some handsome salary, only companies like TCS and cognizant recruit most of the students....

I just want to say that education is not everything, the culture of this college is just about classes and labs, they should arrange more fun activities for students and teachers, by the way education is awesome here. Hope it will work for upcoming students who want to join this institute.

College is average but the placement is very bad, only few company come to the college and they are mostly from BPOs. Labs are not up to the mark but the faculty is good. Campus is small, boys hostel is outside of the campus, market is far from college and don't go according to prospectus. Food provided in the hostel is not good.

Good private college to join. Ranked among top 3 in West Bengal (through WBJEE). Regular placements, nothing great. Potential of the students taking admission is much greater than what college has to offer. Due to lack of seats through WBJEE students have no other option left. Lack of infrastructure is the only drawback. Should join, if campus life and facilities does not matter much. Would recommend joining other similarly ranked colleges, with similar placements and a much better campus life a...

Management is too strict, gives school like feeling, good environment to study, and college campus is good. You cannot get out from the college once you enter inside. You have to enter the college on time. There are no college grounds. They can do anything to hold students in the campus for the entire day. Good library. Transport system is good. College hostel is good.

Institute of Engineering & Management popularly known as IEM Kolkata and overheard as IIM Kolkata. That’s a funny side of it. If you want to join school after your 12th then IEM is one of the best college you have been looking for. But if you want to enjoy your college and the campus then you are sadly mistaken. It is strict and you cannot go outside the college once you entered the college premises. Moreover you have to seek permission from the HOD for leaving. It’s like hell inside a hell. Apa...

The college has good Lab facility. Average library facility. No WI-FI for students (All are Password protected and password are never shared with students). Hostel Facility is poor. Finance department is very voracious for money. Faculty is average. No campus facilities.

Engineering college honest review.

Placements: According to the data, it says 90%, but from what I saw, it's about 60% placements. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA. Average salary was 8 LPA. Top recruiters were TCS and Infosys. Placements are good compared to other colleges, but the strength and competition are increasing day by day.

IEM INSIGHTS, not worth it.

Placements: 80% of students are placed in placements. The highest package is 6.5 lakhs, the lowest is 2.8 lakhs, and the average is 4.6 lakhs. Amazon, TCS, and Deloitte are the top companies that give placement. 100% of students got internships. Manager and sales manager posts are offered, as well as finance posts and HR manager posts.

My honest college review about IEM Kolkata.

Placements: Placement percentage is very low here. It very dissatisfied. Only around 50 percent got place. They are also lower CTC placement. Only small companies visit here. Only top level hard working students got internships and placement. Teachers are very strict about decipline but they don't teach well.

The campus life is dissatisfying, with faculty being satisfactory and placement being moderate.

Placements: In the academic year 2023-24, the placement process has just begun, and currently, 78% of students have secured assured placements. According to the placement cell, the highest package offered is 24 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 7 LPA for B.Tech CSE (IOT). Top companies include TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, etc. Internship opportunities have been relatively low, with only 20-25% of students receiving internship offers. Top roles secured by students include UI/UX designer, Backend develop...

Our college has good faculty members.

Placements: Our college provides average placements. Many students didn't opt for placements. Our batch has 120 students. Top recruiting companies are British Telecom, Cognizant, Wipro, etc. The top role offered is marketing.

I am satisfied with placements but not satisfied with the campus and infrastructure.

Placements: Above 98% of students got placed in different IT companies. The highest salary package offered by Oracle is 19 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Around 500 students got pre-placement offers from Capgemini. Placements are not good in the core branch compared to IT. Many students got placements in the IT industry. Blue Star offered the highest salary package of 6.5 LPA.

It offers great ROI if you are looking for a college for an undergraduate degree.

Placements: Placements offered are average. More than 30% of the students got placed in our batch. For summer internships, students were offered internships from college, and mostly it was unpaid. Only certificates were offered. Companies like Decathlon, TCS and Wipro visited the campus.

It is an average college, and you can join. But this college does not promise a campus life.

Placements: Placements are good here compared to other colleges in Kolkata. Many companies visit here, including 4 mass recruiters. Our college is the best among tier-2 colleges. Students get the average salary package of 2 LPA. Mostly around 70% to 80% of the students get recruited.

Placements: Average package goes to 3.5 lacks, placement head is good but facility are not to good to help this college only have 3 building. The highest package goes to 30 lack and average is 3.5 lack per annum. This college has better off campus placement. Which is not so good.

Average college, still far better than other MAKAUT colleges.

Placements: I'm presently in B.Tech-2nd year-CSE. Although college claims to have 100% placements, that is somehow true, but most of the eligible students are placed in mass recruiting companies. Students with decent packages get placed through offline campus drives (most of them).

Bad infrastructure, average faculty but good course structure.

Placements: The college claims 100% placements but in that they also count the multiple jobs offered to some students. The lowest package offered is around 2 LPA and the highest is 14 LPA. Most of the companies are startups, but some good companies come here too like IBM, TCS and Amazon.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: The placement in IEM is quite good. Approximately, 90-95% of ECE department students often get placed every year. The highest package offered is INR 40 Lacs off campus the lowest is INR 3 Lacs and the average is INR 4 Lacs. TCS, TCS Digital, cognizant, Wipro, etc. Most of the visiting companies belong to software technology and also some core company visits too.
