Life at a hotel management college is packed with long classroom hours as theoretical classes are given prominence over practical training and workshops. IHM Bangalore recounts its good old days of maintaining a pace with high standards of grooming and learning the importance of time management. Earlier, I was a shy and introvert type of a person, but adapting to the campus life enabled me to embrace a well-groomed and a pleasing personality. The campus routine, which is a mix of theory and prac...

This is a government owned Hotel Management college. The faculty is highly qualified, placements are there, but there is a huge lack of infrastructure and space. There is no open space and the college doesn't have a feel of a college. Apart from this, there are very few extracurricular activities, and the campus life is almost zero. Still, if someone has a passion for hotel management, this is a great college. You will be assured of a job as the placement is great.

A place where you can get proper knowledge of hotel industry.

Placements: Placements are very good as they need a person with a good communication skill that can handle any type of situation. The training period was the worst as they treat us like a labour and pay very less. They just pay 1000 or less than that and the working hours are very high.
