Great college with the best college life.
Placements: Placements offered at IHM Mumbai are the best; approximately 80% of students got placed in different companies and hotels. Many of them got placed in QSRs, and many of them were placed in companies like Taj, Oberoi, Hyatt, Leela, Lalit, McDonald's, etc. The average package offered was 3 lakhs, with the highest being 7.5 lakhs and the lowest being 2 lakhs.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was beautiful. The campus was not too big as in Mumbai but not too small either. Wi-Fi facilities were available all the time, and there was high security. Unfortunately, the canteen was not available since last year, and there were no varieties of food served. Lunch was served daily to the students.
Faculty: All the faculty members were highly qualified, educated, and experienced. They were very friendly and provided the best guidance for the students. The curriculum taught was very helpful in the industry and interviews as well. Semester exams were moderately hard.
Other: Many events were organized throughout the year, like Cornucopia and Bartales, etc.

IHM Mumbai is a well reputed hospitality and hotel management college.
Placements: IHM Mumbai, opened in 1955, is a renowned hospitality college and is known to be very popular and helpful to students pursuing this course. Companies like Taj and Oberoi have known to come for campus placements over here. All students get placements.
Infrastructure: The front-office software used is IDS. There are hostel facilities provided to all girls and boys. The college has more than 15 classes, along with 5 kitchens, 1 fo lab and 2 HK labs. This is all within 2 buildings of the college, which also have a hotel and 2 hostels.
Faculty: The faculty here is excellent. The main reason to be here is the faculty; they are fun and very informative, and they teach you very well. They attract every student's interest in the subject. The exams have their own charm, from buffet assignments to online exams.
Other: The entire academic year is full of events and co-curricular activities.

Overall, it's a good college for hotel management.
Placements: My college provides placement, but I am still in the second year, and the placement interviews start in the third year. Gathering information through seniors, I got to know that hotels like Trident, Taj Hotel, Oberoi Hotel, Hilton Hotel, and many other well-known hotels, as well as airlines and joints like Subways, McDonald's, and Starbucks, come for interviews at IHM Mumbai.
Infrastructure: Although the college is not that huge, it has all the facilities required for studies. The college has four kitchens, front office labs, computer labs, housekeeping labs, and two restaurants for F&B service practice. The college has Wi-Fi facilities, but not for students; only for faculty. There is a mess and canteen, both not available for the first year from 2023, but for my batch, it was for three years throughout.
Faculty: The faculty is nice; they are well-educated and provide required notes very well. They lead us to the future world, and there are also practicals taking place every week. They make sure that every student practices well and also conduct revision classes before exams. The courses for three years have a total of six semesters and 12 exams, including midterms.
Other: When it comes to extracurricular activities, the college is really active. There are various clubs in the college for sports, painting, dance, singing, music, social media, photography, etc. This college is government-run, so they provide scholarship facilities for caste quotas.

A short guide to IHM Mumbai.
Placements: Placements in IHM have always been top notch as it is one of the best colleges in India for hotel management. During internships, we get placed in leading hotels like Taj, Oberoi, ITC, Marriott etc. The faculty is quite helpful in the manner of helping us with the placements as well.
Infrastructure: We have a facility of food being provided everyday irrespective of us being hostelers or not. The food is of a passable grade and as the students themselves are learning to cook food items, we do not get repetitive dishes. The classes are mostly non air conditioned but a few of them have the facility available. All the classes have a smart projector in built which is quite useful. The library has a collection of almost all the books that you will ever need while studying hotel management.
Faculty: Almost all of the faculty of our college has a lot of experience working in hospitality. They help you a lot in understanding the expected behavior and work scenarios of the industry. The curriculum is kind of outdated but it is in the process of being updated. For the first year students who have taken admissions this year, the syllabus is upto date with the current trends of the industry. The exams are quite easy if you study for a week in advance.

Best college for hotel management in the entirety on India.
Placements: The placement is good. Huge hotel brands like Taj, JW Marriott, and Oberoi recruit employees from this college. Interviews are held where one's knowledge in their field is tested. The average package is 300000 and more. You get industrial training for 4 months at renowned 5-star hotels like Taj, Oberoi, Trident, JW Marriott, Trident, ITC, Radisson Blu, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is old but good. The kitchens are properly maintained and functional, and hostels have sufficient space for students to stay. The food in the mess is really tasty and nutritious but it is only for students staying in hostels. There is a canteen where you can get coffee, tea, maggi and a few small snacks. The campus is small but has space to play sports and host events like Cornucopia.
Faculty: The teachers here are very wise and experienced; their knowledge in their field is phenomenal. They are more than qualified for teaching. Yes, the curriculum is very relevant and not just makes students industry-ready but also helps them face situations in real life. The semester exams are not too difficult but they are very knowledge-testing.
Other: So the college has stopped providing tool kits and mess food (for non-hostel students) this year. There is a lack of toilets compared to the number of students in the college. A lot of events take place in the college and I would suggest everyone participate, as you get to learn a lot and gain experience through those events. The connectivity of the college is good; it is only 10 minutes away from the Dadar Railway Station. There are also many stops nearby. There's one behind the college.

Best Hotel Management College in the entire state.
Placements: The placements are good. There are interviews conducted in the final year of the college for which the students can prepare themselves. Hotels like Taj Mahal Palace, Taj Land End, Oberoi, Trident, Holiday Inn, JW Mariott, etc. conduct interviews and employ students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent, nothing much, there's space for parking and a little bit of space to play sports. The building is pretty old with cracks visible on the ceilings and the walls. The infrastructure is pretty old, and recently they renovated the college’s boundary.
Faculty: The faculty is good, everyone is almost friendly and very helpful. They are quite experienced in their field. The curriculum is relevant I'll say because since my batch, the University has changed from IGNOU to JNU, so the syllabus is a little different and feels a little rushed.
Other: Events are very happening in the college every now and then with lots of curricular activities to take part in. The college conducts inter-college fests as well.
