Review of Institute of Mass Communication and Media Technology by Sumiti Chahal .
Placements: There are 50 students in our course and most of them want to develop their career in media production, journalism, public relations, photography, radio production, etc. I have no idea regarding the package offered in our course. There are various companies which offer job opportunities for students. At least 80 percent of the students of our Institute were interested in doing internship at public relations agency. Our course provides opportunities for students to interact with journalists and motivates them to become good journalists, reporters and anchors.
Infrastructure: In our institute, there are well-equipped classrooms with modern facilities, including a computer lab, library, Wi-Fi connection, smart classes, radio studio, canteen, fully AC auditorium and seminar halls. When we talk about hostel facilities, there is a proper residential area for boys and girls separately. There is also a health care centre for medical facilities, along with ambulances, canteens, sports complexes, technical and non-technical clubs and a community center. The quality of food is average.
Faculty: Yes, our teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They tried their best to teach the students and clear all their doubts, which they were facing. We can say that our course curriculum is relevant. Exams shall be conducted semester-wise per year. Almost 90 percent of students passed the exam easily.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a journalist. Our course provides opportunities for the students to deal with every situation. The media fest was organized every year by our institute. There are also six clubs at our university and they provide opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular activities.

A great place to gain professional knowledge.
Placements: There is no placement guaranteed in course you have to final job on your own. You can get a job based on your skills and interviews. Kurukshetra University is undoubtedly one of the top universities but in case of studies in media field you have to make yourself that much strong that you can get a job.
Infrastructure: Kurukshetra University has one of the largest library in Haryana. Also there are 131 departments there and each one has own library. Wi-Fi speed is excellent. Classrooms and studios are well furnished. You can get lots of things to learn in Kurukshetra University.
Faculty: Faculty is absolutely excellent. Every teacher, professor has own experience of more than 15 years in this field. Exams are so easy but little lengthy so you should have fast writing speed while writing. 40% is the minimum passing marks. Average score of class is 60%.

My B.A. College - Kurukshetra University.
Placements: There are no placements for BA students. We can only complete our degree and then pursue higher studies. Placements are only available for MBA and B.Tech graduates. For these courses, the college has the highest salary package of INR 25 LPA, while the average median salary package is between INR 3.5 and 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Kurukshetra University has a very attractive campus. It has beautiful gardens, wide sports grounds, and spacious seminar halls. The college offers a variety of courses, including BA, MA, B.Tech, MBA, MCA, and BCA. This makes for a very crowded campus.
Faculty: The university has a lot of experienced faculty members who are well-liked by the students. The university offers a wide variety of courses in B.A., including Hindi, English, Punjabi, music, history, and philosophy.

I am happy to have taken admission at this university.
Placements: This course is good for today's generation. So many students take this course. The average package offered in this field is INR 3–4 lacs. Many companies came to this department to recruit students for their companies. Many students got their internships in a lot of cities, like Delhi, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, and Faridabad.
Infrastructure: The facilities in our department are very good. For studying, we got top-quality equipment for the course, like projectors and computers. For the hostels, we have many hostels for the students, and the facilities in these hostels are good, like rooms, bathrooms, and toilets. The food facilities are also great; all good products are used in the messes.
Faculty: The teacher facilities are very good. They have done their Ph.D., and the way they teach us is very good. We easily understood the topics they taught us. Teachers taught us the topics on which we get ready for the upcoming difficulties in industries. The semester exams are also difficult; to clear our exams, we have to study hard for them.
Other: I take this course at Kurukshetra University. It is very good in looking at and about facilities, not just my department's facilities, but all departments' study facilities.

Our college improves the skills of the students.
Placements: Placements are provided by some graphics and 3D animation companies or design-related companies. These companies recruit students through a skill test. The salary packages are offered based on the skills and knowledge of the students. Our college gives an assignment for every student, which is considered an internship. Students can apply for internships through LinkedIn and Internshala. Our department gives some contacts to easily find internships.
Infrastructure: Our department has good internet with a common Wi-Fi the password is linked with the email ID of the students. Wi-Fi was easily accessible through this email ID. Every course has a separate building, labs, classrooms, a library, and a common library to study till 11 PM. It has a 5-storey building with an elevator and stairs.
Faculty: Professors in our college give practical knowledge to students. All of them are well-qualified with Ph.D. or master's degrees in their fields. They are good at teaching. They organised workshops and competitions related to the course. They give more knowledge to students about the course and industry work. Some experts visit our department every week to provide knowledge about internships, the software sector, time management, skills, and team leadership.
Other: I chose this course to improve my knowledge of graphics and animation because I like digital work like digital painting and modern art illustration, editing, 3D movie and VFX, and animation. Good computers should be provided in our college so that students gain good knowledge about animation. Our college offers many courses. I got admission to this course through a written exam.

Absolutely dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: My course is B.A in mass communication. There is no guidance for internships. Need to be bilingual and multi tasking in this field.
Infrastructure: The construction is still in progress. The departments are maintained properly. They have a studio, computer lab, graphics lab, animation lab, and a library. There is Wi-Fi facility in classrooms as well as in hostel.
Faculty: Faculties are nice. With the effect of cbcs, the syllabus is completely changed and it is difficult. Some faculty do provide notes. But ultimately you will learn and gain knowledge on your own.
