Campus Life at CU (Chandigarh University)
Placements: Up to 90% of students got placed in my course. The highest package was almost 54 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Club Mahindra, MakeMyTrip, Travel Triangle, etc. Up to 95% of students got internships in companies like Thomas Cook, Travel Triangle, Journey Cook, and Club Mahindra. The top roles offered in this course are travel agent, tour guide, entrepreneur, ticket agent, and many roles after foreign exchange opportunities.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well maintained and the labs offer world-class experience with technical and practical learning. The canteen and mess food also give a variety of meals as per religion and taste. The Department of Students Welfare looks after all the conveniences for the students, like ragging or any unsocial acts inside the university.
Faculty: The faculty is top class with full guidance and knowledge of their subjects, and the faculty is also cooperative and helpful. The curriculum is very nice and with the practical knowledge, it makes the students industry ready. The exams are of average difficulty; they are not too difficult and not too easy. At the same time, they are perfect for students to get good grades in their semester exams.
Other: The events are the main attraction of this university, as the campus life gives the vibes of Karan Johar's movie Student of the Year. The sports events, TechInvent, the Star Night, and the CU Fest are all a student needs apart from studies to get relaxed and enjoy their college life.

I'm satisfied because of faculty, facilities, infrastructure, and placements.
Placements: In this university, they are providing a lot of things, not only education, culture, and games. In the last year, the pass-out batch had 60-70% of students get placed and also 80% of students getting internships. The highest package of my course is 28 LPA. If we work hard, we will definitely get placement with a good package.
Infrastructure: College has good infrastructure, and classrooms are very good, and having Wi-Fi facilities in class as well as labs is also good. We have a good library facility. In total, we have 10 libraries in your college, all having a good environment for study. Hostel facilities are also good, but we need to adjust the food in the mess. Basically, I'm from the South, and for me, I'm facing a problem with mess food.
Faculty: In this university, teachers are very helpful and all have good knowledge about their subjects. They will teach a little bit fast, but we can understand if you listen properly in class. I think semester exams are not much, though, because there is more weightage for internals.

Review of Law department of Chandigarh University .
Placements: There are only 25-30 students who get placed in every batch from all departments, such as LL.B., B.A., LL.B., BBA LL.B., B.Com. LL.B, etc. B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) is very weak compared to the total strength of the university. The average package is listed about 5 Lacs in their website but I believe it to be comparatively less. Most students were placed in law firms in Chandigarh or Delhi. As for law department, the placement record is not so good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided by the university is top-class. A new library is opened this year in the department, and I would say this is a great step taken by the university. A projector is also provided in every classroom. Talking about hostel facilities, 4 seater rooms are generally available with cooler facilities. Mess food is also good, and canteen facilities are also provided in every corner of this university.
Faculty: Talking about the faculty of the university, most teachers are very professional. They have completed their graduation from Chandigarh University itself and are not really qualified in teaching well. They would not even recommend books to the students. PPTs will be provided that will cover the whole syllabus. The course curriculum is no doubt good. The semester exams are also not really difficult, as most questions come from PPTs. However, it does not make the students industry ready because of the qualified staff.

Campus life at Chandigarh University.
Placements: If you're doing B. Tech in ECE from Chandigarh University, then chances of you getting placed are low. Companies do come for ECE, but it's not that much compared to the CSE branch. College does provide companies for internships, but that is also in fewer numbers, so I must say to join CSE instead of ECE.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the ECE course is sufficient; you will gonna get labs, Wi-Fi, and a library in each and every building.
Faculty: Almost every faculty is helpful. They were properly educated, and their way of teaching is also good. But you will gonna come across some bad faculty also; they will gonna show rude behavior, and the way of teaching is so poor. But these types of faculty are less. Semester exams in CU are not that tough; if you know how to write answers to any questions, then you can pass these exams without facing any difficulty.
Other: The best part of Chandigarh University that you will definitely gonna like is the beautiful and lush green campus. They used to organize fests from time to time. If you love to click lots of pics, then CU is the best for doing these.

Okay college for a small feel.
Placements: MBA has mostly sales placements for CU. Other specializations don't usually have good placements. Also, most sales jobs are in the average of 3-6 Lacs (including incentives). But seeing the fields, the placements are good, I guess, because you don't need a CAT score to get into CU.
Infrastructure: Girls' hostels are very strict. The food is bad. Too many restrictions. Too many floors. There are rumors about the hostels. But campus concerts work for them as they are good. 3-4 seaters are available. The infrastructure is bad. There is a hot water shortage. Less hygiene. Too much toxicity and stealing. No second good helping.
Faculty: Qualified teachers. Very low-quality teaching. Yes, it makes students industry-ready. Easy exams. The pass percentage is around 80-90%. Academics: 100+ programs, flexible credit system Research: 14,700+ publications, 4,300+ patents Placements: 9,000+ placements (2024-25 batch) Infrastructure: State-of-the-art labs, libraries, sports facilities Campus Life: Various student clubs, events, and activities
Other: I chose MBA because the course is short, and I got campus placement in just a year. The food, the CRC, the food... makes students visit all blocks to solve an issue because no one takes responsibility. Good events.

Honest review after passing out.
Placements: Marketing placements were more. Even in banking fields and banking companies, mostly companies were referring students with marketing specialisation in minor. Companies for finance was very less. Recession is also going on so can't blame the university for that.
Infrastructure: Hostel is not that good. There are no AC in the hostel. Food was good for the first month only after that it was really unsanitary and taste like garbage. Options for ordering food were also very less. To order from Zomato also we had to go outside the hostel. Delivery partners weren't allowed inside the main GATE.
Faculty: Faculty was good. A little more could have been added in the curriculum. More practical things regarding our field could have been taught but they weren't. Some suggestion could have been taken from the students regarding the curriculum. I think some changes should be made.
