Review of Institute of Mass Communication and Media Technology by Sumiti Chahal .
Placements: There are 50 students in our course and most of them want to develop their career in media production, journalism, public relations, photography, radio production, etc. I have no idea regarding the package offered in our course. There are various companies which offer job opportunities for students. At least 80 percent of the students of our Institute were interested in doing internship at public relations agency. Our course provides opportunities for students to interact with journalists and motivates them to become good journalists, reporters and anchors.
Infrastructure: In our institute, there are well-equipped classrooms with modern facilities, including a computer lab, library, Wi-Fi connection, smart classes, radio studio, canteen, fully AC auditorium and seminar halls. When we talk about hostel facilities, there is a proper residential area for boys and girls separately. There is also a health care centre for medical facilities, along with ambulances, canteens, sports complexes, technical and non-technical clubs and a community center. The quality of food is average.
Faculty: Yes, our teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They tried their best to teach the students and clear all their doubts, which they were facing. We can say that our course curriculum is relevant. Exams shall be conducted semester-wise per year. Almost 90 percent of students passed the exam easily.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a journalist. Our course provides opportunities for the students to deal with every situation. The media fest was organized every year by our institute. There are also six clubs at our university and they provide opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular activities.

A great place to gain professional knowledge.
Placements: There is no placement guaranteed in course you have to final job on your own. You can get a job based on your skills and interviews. Kurukshetra University is undoubtedly one of the top universities but in case of studies in media field you have to make yourself that much strong that you can get a job.
Infrastructure: Kurukshetra University has one of the largest library in Haryana. Also there are 131 departments there and each one has own library. Wi-Fi speed is excellent. Classrooms and studios are well furnished. You can get lots of things to learn in Kurukshetra University.
Faculty: Faculty is absolutely excellent. Every teacher, professor has own experience of more than 15 years in this field. Exams are so easy but little lengthy so you should have fast writing speed while writing. 40% is the minimum passing marks. Average score of class is 60%.

My B.A. College - Kurukshetra University.
Placements: There are no placements for BA students. We can only complete our degree and then pursue higher studies. Placements are only available for MBA and B.Tech graduates. For these courses, the college has the highest salary package of INR 25 LPA, while the average median salary package is between INR 3.5 and 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Kurukshetra University has a very attractive campus. It has beautiful gardens, wide sports grounds, and spacious seminar halls. The college offers a variety of courses, including BA, MA, B.Tech, MBA, MCA, and BCA. This makes for a very crowded campus.
Faculty: The university has a lot of experienced faculty members who are well-liked by the students. The university offers a wide variety of courses in B.A., including Hindi, English, Punjabi, music, history, and philosophy.

Absolutely dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: My course is B.A in mass communication. There is no guidance for internships. Need to be bilingual and multi tasking in this field.
Infrastructure: The construction is still in progress. The departments are maintained properly. They have a studio, computer lab, graphics lab, animation lab, and a library. There is Wi-Fi facility in classrooms as well as in hostel.
Faculty: Faculties are nice. With the effect of cbcs, the syllabus is completely changed and it is difficult. Some faculty do provide notes. But ultimately you will learn and gain knowledge on your own.

I like this college because of placements, memories, and environment.
Placements: About 40% of students are placed in All India Radio or any other radio ststions. Many students are working with Amar Ujala and Dainik Bhaskar newspaper. Some students got jobs in Doordarshan. Alumni are also working with some great news channels like Aaj Tak and ABVP news.
Infrastructure: The building of this department is under construction and but it has a computer lab, a library, and its own central library named Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru central library is the biggest library in Haryana. The university has a green environment because of trees so I can say if you want to study in a great environment, you should take admission here.
Faculty: Some teachers in our college consider teaching as a duty and take regular classes whereas some teachers take only 1 class a week or sometimes, a month. I am dissatisfied with faculty members. If you take admission in law, you will get your work done within seconds.
Other: The best thing about this university is that you can create a great network for jobs and friendships which may help you in your future.
