Infrastructure and education is not that great it's average , but exams are simpler so you can do it
Placements: Placements are average, for my course average is like between 6 to 8 L. But highest is 1 crore but it's off campus so if you work hard you can surely get it. And every course differs placement wise and it's our course is best in our college campus after IET.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not good of college, but hostel is quite good. I mean you can live here. Infrastructure is not that fancy like ac, hd screen etc but teaching is good. Hostel is normal like any other you will surely get to relax a lot .
Faculty: It's simple , you can study a week ahead and can get a great score. Faculty are generous, you can connect with them greatly and marks are easy to get but yeah for your own skills you have to work hard and get skills. Exam pattern is also good not that difficult.

The true reality of IIPS (DAVV).
Placements: The placement for B.Com is not much good; it is good as per the course B.Com but can be better. The college placement for other courses is far better than for B.Com, so that's the issue. There are major big companies that come for recruitment every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good, and it keeps renovating itself every 4-5 years. There are some small damages, but that is okay. The hostel is also very good for being a government college hostel; the rooms are very spacious, and facilities are also available.
Faculty: The faculty is very supportive, and the course curriculum is the thing that attracts all the students. The course is designed as per IIM Indore. There are regular exams to check ourselves; there are three internal exams and one final end-semester exam, so students have various opportunities to score.

Faculty needs a lot of improvement. Really dissatisfied with the favoritism and lack of material.
Placements: 50% students are placed after completing the 5-year program. The highest package was around 15 LPA, and the lowest went to around 5 LPA. Internships are not given any importance. I myself am struggling to find an internship. Students are placed mostly in the banking sector.
Infrastructure: There is no proper infrastructure. The labs are maintained, but the computers are really old models. The library is well maintained. Classrooms are good and clean. Washrooms strictly need to be cleaned and maintained. There are no medical facilities. The hostel is below average. The canteen is good.
Faculty: Less than 50% teachers are helpful. Teaching quality is not good. There is a lot of favoritism. It does not make the students industry-ready. There is just irrelevant theory students have to mug up. Semester exams may be easy, but the marking is really strict. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course as it is reputed. The best thing about the course are that it is different than other courses in multiple aspects. Less favoritism and better grading would be a great improvement. No fests and no events are there. Campus crowds is below average. Scholarships include various government scholarships for different income groups and castes. There are decent number of competitions as a part of extracurricular.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty, good placements in 2023, and a nice atmosphere around.
Placements: I am in the second-to-last year of my course. Placement is currently ongoing, and almost 30% of students are placed from our college. The highest package is almost 12 LPA, and the lowest is about 4.5 LPA. Companies that came for placements include FICO, Infosys, TCS, DICE, Accenture, and some startups.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good in terms of infrastructure but lack cleanliness. The library is okay, as not many of the latest edition books are available. Hostels are average in terms of condition, with maintenance currently not very well managed. However, they are not as bad as others.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and knowledgeable about their courses and subjects. The curriculum is a bit outdated, with some courses like EJB Beans still included, which are no longer in use. Exam rules are very strict regarding cheating, and such actions could lead to a year back.
Other: Events are organized, and festivals are celebrated with joy. I chose to study a Master of Technology because I was interested in learning more about technology early on.

Big name, zero opportunities. Fake and toxic.
Placements: They don't offer placements for UG. Only a few companies visit the campus for placements. Even then, students generally don't take them because of the low salary scheme. The average placement can be around 5-6 LPA. Also, company visits are only for branches like IT and MBA. They have mentioned a lot of companies for attraction, such as Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG, and TCS, but none of them show up every year.
Infrastructure: The worst infrastructure you'll ever see. The campus building has not been renovated for decades. Though they charge high for maintenance, it's unclear where the money goes. Benches are broken, walls are torn up, lighting and fans are poor, and there's no digital infrastructure in the class. The library has old books, and most of the books aren't available. There are bird droppings everywhere. They don't even keep dusters and chalk with themselves. The boards are dusty, and the overall maintenance is poor.
Faculty: Friendly, dominating, dictating faculty. Supportive staff, who would not help you at any place. Poor teaching quality, biased and illogical. No relevance of the course; it does not make anyone market-ready. Semester exams can be difficult, as they take exams every 30 days. They have a foolish scheme of not giving full marks in any question. They say the maximum they can give is 10/12 if the answer perfectly matches the book; otherwise, they take no time to deduct marks. They would not increase a single mark after checking. The environment is based on professionalism but also tries to display a fake image of their college.
Other: No extracurricular activities, no dance, singing, or anything. They don't even have a stage of their own. No sports room, music room, or any equipment for extracurricular activities. There is one sports event, Synergy, in which they continue teaching. Other celebrations aren't worth enjoying due to the poor quality of students.

My journey in the DAVV college.
Placements: Most students do not participate in placements due to the low salaries offered by companies. However, those who do are often placed in mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. The roles offered in the course include data analyst, engineer, and computer engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. Classrooms are fully furnished, and libraries with the most resourceful books are present in the department as well as in the central library of the college. In the hostel, the food quality is not good, and people prefer to eat outside the mess.
Faculty: Semester examinations occur every six months, though some semesters can be covered in five months or less. Semester exams are easy, as some questions may be repeated. The course is well-designed to provide knowledge of computing languages.
