Q:   Which entrance exam scores does International Institute of Sports Management and Education accept for admission to MBA?

A:

The International Institute of Sports Management and Education (IISE) in Bangalore accepts various entrance exam scores for admission to its MBA program, as per the available search results. The specified entrance exams include the Sports Management Admission Test (SMAT) conducted by IISM, a specialised test tailored for sports management aspirants. Additionally, candidates can submit scores from widely recognised national-level exams such as the Common Admission Test (CAT) administered by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA), and the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) facilitated by Xavier School of Management. While the exact weightage given to each exam may vary, this diverse range of accepted scores reflects IISE's commitment to providing opportunities for a broad spectrum of MBA aspirants, including those with a keen interest in sports management.

Q:   What is the latest cutoff information for MBA at International Institute of Sports Management and Education?

A:

You must get minimum score in the Sports Management Admission Test (SMAT). The candidate must receive a minimum of 60% in both Stage 1 and Stage 2 cumulative scores to be eligible for the Institute's final admission and letter of selection.

Candidates who are selected for this coveted academic journey will be anxiously awaiting the results of the SSAT Stage-2, which is a critical factor in determining acceptance.

Admissions for the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) programme in IISM are currently being accepted for the 2023–2024 academic year. The programme offers a three-year, broad, and well-rounded curriculum. The program's accordion-style structure offers flexibility and depth of knowledge. As part of the admissions process, applicants must have passed the SSAT test by July 20, 2023. A minimum SSAT score is one of the eligibility requirements, demonstrating the program's dedication to academic excellence.

Since the IISM SMAT exam is administered via online proctoring, students may take it whenever it is convenient for them to do so from home. It is not necessary for candidates who took the MAH-CET-MBA/MMS exam and scored in the 55 percentile for the OC or the 45 percentile for the Reserved category to appear in the SMAT instead, they only need to submit the SMAT application form and pay the applicable fee. In order to be qualified for the IISM's undergraduate program, applicants must receive 50% in their Class 12.

A review for a sports enthusiast.
Placements: Yes, placement opportunities are often great in the college. A lot of students get various opportunities and are placed at different places and positions in sports companies or for a team at various events such as IPL, PKL, National Games, and Khelo India.
Infrastructure: Yes, the infrastructure of the college is very nice. It has bigger classrooms, a very spacious area, and canteens that are hygienic and have great-tasting food. The food is very good. The campus gives positive vibes to students, and it is also kept hygienic.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful and supportive. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. They are not that tough; if students study properly, they can easily pass the semester exams at the university, which are conducted by Mumbai University.
Other: As I am a sports lover and wanted to do something in sports, that's why I chose this course.

It's a good opportunity for all sports students and those who are showing interest in sports.
Placements: I got an internship at SAI for the Khelo India Youth Games, the University Games, the World Cup 2023, etc. In this internship, I really enjoyed it and also got money, and in Khelo India University games, they provided travel, good accommodations, etc. And I learned so many new things from the Khelo India Youth Games and the Khelo India University Games.
Infrastructure: There is nothing for accommodation; you have to manage your own way. But the main thing is that you can get your accommodation with the help of your administration departments. They also offer you and suggest some good places near the college. The International Institute of Sports and Management is a good choice for a Master's in Sports Management.
Faculty: So many experienced teachers are here. The International Institute of Sports and Management is under the University of Mumbai. So during exam time, you have to go to the University Mumbai campus; all exams are taken on the Mumbai campus. And it's also a good campus.
Other: Marketing is very important.

This college has good connections in the industry.
Placements: Our batch was the covid 19 special batch. So the opportunities are less as the sports market completely came to a standstill. It faces a little difficulty in getting good opportunities in the industry. But with the offset of covid, newer and better opportunities have started coming in.
Infrastructure: This college is trying to provide a fun campus. They have classrooms with different names related to our industry and they are trying to make it sport-oriented. The campus is small as the industry is new and trying to evolve. The space is less, but they are trying to manage.
Faculty: Teachers try to make the management subject sports-oriented by trying to relate every concept with the industry. They give students projects which make them divide into the management side of the industry and get a very clear picture of the business ideas used in sports.

Absolutely satisfied with faculties and placements. Best college for sports management in India.
Placements: All the students from my batch have got the opportunity to do internship in renowned companies like Decathlon, ITW, etc. Average package offered in our course is around 3.5 to 4 lacs. The highest package offered is 7 lacs. And the lowest package offered is 2.5 lacs.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is too good. Wi-Fi, air conditioned classrooms, canteen, game area, etc. facilities are available. Canteen is very clean and food quality is excellent and support staff is also very supportive. Administration department staff are also cooperative.
Faculty: All the faculty members are very knowledgeable and cooperative. The subjects in this course are relevant and useful for making the students industry ready. Semester exams in this college are neither easy nor difficult and all the notes and PPT are provided before exam which becomes easier for students to prepare for exam.
Other: I always wanted to make a career in sports industry. And this course is a pathway to reach my goals. Guest lectures, sports fest of our college that is " JUNOON" gives us opportunity to learn and work how management is done in any sports event.

Overall I'd recommend if someone wants to do sports management from India, this is a better place.
Placements: The internship opportunities provided by the university are really good. About the placement, my senior batch been affected due to lack of jobs in this pandemic. The super seniors had a review of the placements being decent and moreover depends on your connections in the industry.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is calm and composed. The facilities are pleasing to the eye with upmost cleanliness. Earlier we had an access to various games like billiards, table tennis.
Faculty: The faculty are amazing. They are very knowledgeable and expert in their respective field. Some topics are repeated though. Some faculty members give us projects which are very much interesting and we get to learn a lot. As the course states, it is a good mix of MBA and sports.
Other: There is nothing such as campus life as most of the times of the individual is willing to, has the opportunity to go for internships. Moreover, the crowd and class environment is helpful.
